1. నా ప్రియునిగూర్చి పాడెదను వినుడి అతని ద్రాక్షతోటనుబట్టి నాకిష్టుడైనవానిగూర్చి పాడెదను వినుడి. సత్తువ భూమిగల కొండమీద నా ప్రియుని కొకద్రాక్షతోట యుండెను

1. Now well than, I will synge my beloued frende a songe of his vynyearde. My beloued frende hath a vyneyearde in a very frutefull plenteous grounde.

2. ఆయన దానిని బాగుగా త్రవ్వి రాళ్లను ఏరి అందులో శేష్ఠమైన ద్రాక్షతీగెలను నాటించెను దాని మధ్యను బురుజు ఒకటి వేయించి ద్రాక్ష తొట్టిని తొలిపించెను. ద్రాక్షపండ్లు ఫలింపవలెనని యెదురు చూచుచుండెను గాని అది కారుద్రాక్షలు కాచెను

2. This he hedged, this he walled rounde aboute, and planted it with goodly grapes. In the myddest of it buylded he a towre, and made a wyne presse therin And afterwarde when he loked yt it shulde bringe him grapes, it brought forth thornes.

3. కావున యెరూషలేము నివాసులారా, యూదావార లారా, నా ద్రాక్షతోట విషయము నాకు న్యాయము తీర్చ వలెనని మిమ్ము వేడుకొనుచున్నాను.

3. I shewe you now my cause (o ye Citysens of Ierusalem and whole Iuda:) Iudge I praye you betwixte me: and my wynegardinge.

4. నేను నా ద్రాక్షతోటకు చేసినదానికంటె మరేమి దానికి చేయగలను? అది ద్రాక్షపండ్లు కాయునని నేను కనిపెట్టినపుడు అది కారుద్రాక్షలు కాయుటకు కారణమేమి?

4. What more coude haue bene done for it, that I haue not done? Wherfore then hath it geuen thornes, where I loked to haue had grapes of it?

5. ఆలోచించుడి, నేను నా ద్రాక్షతోటకు చేయబోవు కార్యమును మీకు తెలియజెప్పెదను నేను అది మేసివేయబడునట్లు దాని కంచెను కొట్టి వేసెదను. అది త్రొక్కబడునట్లు దాని గోడను పడగొట్టి దాని పాడుచేసెదను

5. Well, I shall tell you how I will do wt my vynyarde: I will take the hedge from it, that it maye perish, and breake downe ye wall, that it maye be troden vnder fote.

6. అది శుద్ధిచేయబడదు పారతో త్రవ్వబడదు దానిలో గచ్చపొదలును బలురక్కసి చెట్లును బలిసి యుండును దానిమీద వర్షింపవలదని మేఘములకు ఆజ్ఞ నిచ్చెదను.

6. I will laye it waist, that it shall nether be twysted nor cut, but beare thornes and breares. I wil also forbyd ye cloudes, that they shal not rayne vpon it.

7. ఇశ్రాయేలు వంశము సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ద్రాక్షతోట యూదా మనుష్యులు ఆయన కిష్టమైన వనము. ఆయన న్యాయము కావలెనని చూడగా బలా త్కారము కనబడెను నీతి కావలెనని చూడగా రోదనము వినబడెను.

7. As for the vynyarde of the LORDE of hoostes it is the house of Israel, and whole Iuda his fayre plantinge. Of these he loked for equyte, but se there is wronge: for rightuousnesse, lo, It is but misery.

8. స్థలము మిగులకుండ మీరు మాత్రమే దేశములో నివసించునట్లు ఇంటికి ఇల్లు కలుపుకొని పొలమునకు పొలము చేర్చు కొను మీకు శ్రమ.

8. Wo to you that ioyne one house to another, and bringe one londe so nigh vnto another, till ye can get no more grounde. Wil ye dwell vpon the earth alone?

9. నేను చెవులార వినునట్లు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా స్పష్టముగా ఈ మాట నాతో సెల విచ్చెను. నిజముగా గొప్పవియు దివ్యమైనవియునైన యిండ్లు అనేకములు నివాసులులేక పాడైపోవును.

9. The LORDE of hoostes rowneth me thus i myne eare: shal not many greater and more gorgions houses be so waist, that no man shall dwell in the?

10. పది ఎకరముల ద్రాక్షతోట ఒక కుంచెడు రస మిచ్చును తూమెడుగింజల పంట ఒక పడి యగును.

10. And ten akers of vynes shal geue but a Quarte, and xxx. bushels of sede shal geue but thre.

11. మద్యము త్రాగుదమని వేకువనే లేచి ద్రాక్షారసము తమకు మంట పుట్టించు వరకు చాల రాత్రివరకు పానముచేయువారికి శ్రమ.

11. Wo be vnto them that ryse vp early to vse them selues in dronkynnes, and yet at night are more superfluous with wyne.

12. వారు సితారా స్వరమండల తంబుర సన్నాయిలను వాయించుచు ద్రాక్షారసము త్రాగుచు విందు చేయుదురుగాని యెహోవా పని యోచింపరు ఆయన హస్తకృత్యములను లక్ష్యపెట్టరు.

12. In whose companies are harpes and lutes, tabrettes and pipes, and wyne. But they regarde not the worke of the LORDE, and cosidre not the operacio of his hondes.

13. కావున నా ప్రజలు జ్ఞానము లేకయే చెరపట్టబడి పోవుచున్నారు వారిలో ఘనులైనవారు నిరాహారులుగా నున్నారు సామాన్యులు దప్పిచేత జ్వరపీడితులగుదురు.

13. Therfore cometh my folck also in captiuyte, because they haue no vnderstondynge. Their glory shalbe myxte with huger, and their pryde shalbe marred for thurste.

14. అందుచేతనే పాతాళము గొప్ప ఆశ పెట్టుకొని అపరి మితముగా తన నోరు తెరచుచున్నది వారిలో ఘనులును సామాన్యులును ఘోషచేయువారును హర్షించువారును పడిపోవుదురు.

14. Therfore gapeth hel, and openeth hyr mouth marvelous wyde: that pryde, boostinge and wisdome, with soch as reioyse therin, maye descende in to it.

15. అల్పులు అణగద్రొక్క బడుదురు ఘనులు తగ్గింపబడుదురు గర్విష్ఠుల చూపు తగ్గును

15. Thus shal man haue a fall, he shalbe brought lowe, and the high lokes of the proude layde downe.

16. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవాయే తీర్పు తీర్చి మహిమపరచబడును పరిశుద్ధుడైన దేవుడు నీతినిబట్టి తన్ను పరిశుద్ధ పరచుకొనును.

16. But the LORDE of hoostes, yt holy God: shalbe exalted and vntouched, when he shal declare his equyte and rightuousnesse after this maner.

17. అది మేతబీడుగా నుండును గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలు అచ్చట మేయును గర్వించినవారి బీడు భూమిని విదేశీయులైన కాపరులు అనుభవింతురు.

17. Then shal ye lambes eate their apoynted foder, and shal fede plenteously in the mountaynes

18. భక్తిహీనతయను త్రాళ్లతో దోషమును లాగుకొను వారికి శ్రమ. బండిమోకులచేత పాపమును లాగుకొనువారికి శ్రమ వారు ఇట్లనుకొనుచున్నారు

18. Wo vnto vayne persones, that drawe wickednes vnto the, as it were with a coorde: and synne, as it were with a cart rope.

19. ఆయనను త్వరపడనిమ్ము మేము ఆయన కార్యమును చూచునట్లు ఆయనను దానిని వెంటనే చేయనిమ్ము ఇశ్రాయేలుయొక్క పరిశుద్ధదేవుని ఆలోచన మాకు తెలియబడునట్లు అది మా యెదుట కనబడనిమ్ము

19. Which vse to speake on this maner: let him make haist now, and go forth wt his worke, that we maye se it. Let the councel of ye holy one of Israel come, and drawe nie, yt we maye knowe it.

20. కీడు మేలనియు మేలు కీడనియు చెప్పుకొని చీకటి వెలుగనియు వెలుగు చీకటనియు ఎంచుకొను వారికి శ్రమ. చేదు తీపి అనియు తీపి చేదనియు ఎంచుకొనువారికి శ్రమ.

20. Wo vnto them that call euel good, and good euel: which make darcknesselight, & light darcknesse, yt make sower swete, and swete sower.

21. తమ దృష్టికి తాము జ్ఞానులనియు తమ యెన్నికలో తాము బుద్ధిమంతులనియు తలంచు కొనువారికి శ్రమ.

21. Wo vnto them that are wyse in their owne sight, and thinke them selues to haue vnderstodinge.

22. ద్రాక్షారసము త్రాగుటలో ప్రఖ్యాతినొందిన వారికిని మద్యము కలుపుటలో తెగువగలవారికిని శ్రమ.

22. Wo vnto them, yt are connynge men to suppe out wyne, and experte to set vp drokenesse.

23. వారు లంచము పుచ్చుకొని దుష్టుడు నీతిమంతుడని తీర్పు తీర్చుదురు నీతిమంతుల నీతిని దుర్నీతిగా కనబడచేయుదురు.

23. These gyue sentence with the vngodly for rewardes, but condemne the iust cause of the rightuous.

24. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవాయొక్క ధర్మ శాస్త్రమును నిర్లక్ష్యపెట్టుదురు ఇశ్రాయేలుయొక్క పరిశుద్ధదేవుని వాక్కును తృణీక రించుదురు. కాబట్టి అగ్నిజ్వాల కొయ్యకాలును కాల్చివేయు నట్లు ఎండిన గడ్డి మంటలో భస్మమగునట్లు వారి వేరు కుళ్లి పోవును వారి పువ్వు ధూళివలె పైకి ఎగిరిపోవును.

24. Therfore, like as fyre licketh vp the strawe, and as the flame cosumeth the stubble: Euen so (when their root is ful,) their blossome shal vanish awaye like dust or smoke. for they despyse the lawe of the LORDE of hoostes, and blaspheme the worde of the holy maker of Israel.

25. దానినిబట్టి యెహోవా కోపము ఆయన ప్రజలమీద మండుచున్నది. ఆయన వారిమీదికి తన బాహువు చాచి వారిని కొట్టగా పర్వతములు వణకుచున్నవి. వీధులమధ్యను వారి కళేబరములు పెంటవలె పడి యున్నవి. ఇంతగా జరిగినను ఆయన కోపము చల్లారలేదు ఆయన బాహువు ఇంకను చాపబడియున్నది.

25. Therfore is the wrath of the LORDE kyndled also agaynst his people, and he shaketh his honde at them: yee he shal smyte so, that the hilles shal tremble. And their carcases shal lye in the ope stretes, like myre. After all this, the wrath of God shall not ceasse, but he shal stretch his hode wyder.

26. ఆయన దూరముగానున్న జనములను పిలుచుటకు ధ్వజము నెత్తును భూమ్యంతమునుండి వారిని రప్పించుటకు ఈల గొట్టును అదిగో వారు త్వరపడి వేగముగా వచ్చుచున్నారు.

26. And he shal gyue a toke vnto a straunge people, and call vnto them in a farre countre: and beholde, they shal come hastely with spede.

27. వారిలో అలసినవాడైనను తొట్రిల్లువాడైనను లేడు. వారిలో ఎవడును నిద్రపోడు కునుకడు వారి నడికట్టు విడిపోదు వారి పాదరక్షలవారు తెగిపోదు.

27. There is not one faynt nor feble amonge them, no not a slogish nor slepery parsone. There shal not one of them put of the gyrdle from his loynes, ner lowse the lachet of his shue.

28. వారి బాణములు వాడిగలవి వారి విండ్లన్నియు ఎక్కు పెట్టబడియున్నవి వారి గుఱ్ఱముల డెక్కలు చెకుముకిరాళ్లతో సమాన ములు వారి రథచక్రములు సుడిగాలి తిరిగినట్లు తిరుగును

28. Their arowes are sharpe, and their bowes bent. Their horse hoofes are like flynt, and their cartwheles like a stormy wynde.

29. ఆడుసింహము గర్జించినట్లు వారు గర్జించుదురు కొదమసింహము గర్జించినట్లు గర్జనచేయుచు వేటను పట్టుకొని అడ్డమేమియు లేకుండ దానిని ఎత్తుకొని పోవుదురు విడిపింపగలవాడెవడును ఉండడు.

29. Their crie is as it were of a lyon, and the roaringe of them like lyons whelpes. They shal roare, and hatch vp the praye, and no man shal recouer it or get it from the.

30. వారు ఆ దినమున సముద్రఘోషవలె జనముమీద గర్జనచేయుదురు ఒకడు భూమివైపు చూడగా అంధకారమును బాధయు కనబడును అంతట ఆ దేశముమీది వెలుగు మేఘములచేత చీకటియగును.

30. In that daye they shalbe so fearce vpon them, as the see. And yf we loke vnto the londe, beholde, it shalbe all darcknesse and sorowe. Yf we loke to heauen: beholde, it shalbe darck with careful desperacion.
