1. దోచుకొనబడకపోయినను దోచుకొనుచుండు నీకు శ్రమ నిన్నెవరు వంచింపకపోయినను వంచించుచుండు నీకు శ్రమ నీవు దోచుకొనుట మానిన తరువాత నీవు దోచుకొన బడెదవు నీవు వంచించుట ముగించిన తరువాత జనులు నిన్ను వంచించెదరు.

1. Alas! thou plunderer when, thou, hadst not been plundered, And thou traitor when they had not betrayed thee: When thou hast ceased plundering, thou shalt be plundered, When thou hast left off betraying, they shall betray thee.

2. యెహోవా, నీకొరకు కనిపెట్టుచున్నాము మాయందు కరుణించుము ఉదయకాలమున వారికి బాహువుగానుఆపత్కాలమున మాకు రక్షణాధారముగానుఉండుము.

2. O Yahweh! shew us favour, For thee, have we waited, Be thou their arm every morning, Yea our salvation in the time of distress.

3. మహాఘోషణ విని జనములు పారిపోవును నీవు లేచుటతోనే అన్యజనులు చెదరిపోవుదురు.

3. At the noise of a tumult, the peoples retreated, When thou didst lift thyself up, nations were scattered.

4. చీడపురుగులు కొట్టివేయునట్లు మీ సొమ్ము దోచబడును మిడతలు ఎగిరిపడునట్లు శత్రువులు దానిమీద పడు దురు

4. Then shall your spoil be gathered as the gathering of the caterpillar, As the swift running of locusts, is he about to run upon them.

5. యెహోవా మహా ఘనత నొందియున్నాడు ఆయన ఉన్నతస్థలమున నివసించుచు న్యాయముతోను నీతితోను సీయోనును నింపెను.

5. Exalted is Yahweh, for he inhabiteth a height, He hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness.

6. నీకాలములో నియమింపబడినది స్థిరముగా నుండును రక్షణ బాహుళ్యమును బుద్ధిజ్ఞానముల సమృద్ధియు కలుగును యెహోవా భయము వారికి ఐశ్వర్యము.

6. So shall a wealth of deliverances, wisdom and knowledge, become the stability of thy times, the reverence of Yahweh, the game is his treasure.

7. వారి శూరులు బయట రోదనము చేయుచున్నారు సమాధాన రాయబారులు ఘోరముగా ఏడ్చు చున్నారు.

7. Lo! their heroes, have cried out openly, the messengers of peace, in bitterness, continue weeping they say :

8. రాజమార్గములు పాడైపోయెను త్రోవను నడచువారు లేకపోయిరి అష్షూరు నిబంధన మీరెను పట్టణములను అవమానపరచెను నరులను తృణీకరించెను.

8. The highways are deserted, The passer-by on the path, hath ceased, He hath broken covenant, He hath despised cities, He hath made no account of men.

9. దేశము దుఃఖించి క్షీణించుచున్నది లెబానోను సిగ్గుపడి వాడిపోవుచున్నది షారోను ఎడారి ఆయెను బాషానును కర్మెలును తమ చెట్ల ఆకులను రాల్చుకొను చున్నవి.

9. The land mourneth, languisheth, Lebanon, displayeth shame, is withered, Sharon, hath become, as the waste plain, And Bashan and Carmel are shaking off their leaves.

10. యెహోవా ఇట్లనుకొనుచున్నాడు ఇప్పుడే లేచెదను ఇప్పుడే నన్ను గొప్పచేసికొనెదను. ఇప్పుడే నాకు ఘనత తెచ్చుకొనెదను.

10. Now, will I arise, Saith Yahweh, Now, will I lift myself up, Now, will I be exalted!

11. మీరు పొట్టును గర్భము ధరించి కొయ్యకాలును కందురు. మీ ఊపిరియే అగ్నియైనట్టు మిమ్మును దహించి వేయు చున్నది.

11. Ye shall conceive chaff Ye shall bring forth stubble, Your own breath, like fire, shall devour you.

12. జనములు కాలుచున్న సున్నపుబట్టీలవలెను నరకబడి అగ్నిలో కాల్చబడిన ముళ్లవలెను అగును.

12. So shall peoples, become, as the burnings of lime, As thorns lopped off, with fire, shall they be burned.

13. దూరస్థులారా, ఆలకించుడి నేను చేసినదాని చూడుడి సమీపస్థులారా, నా పరాక్రమమును తెలిసికొనుడి.

13. Hear ye that are far off. what I have done, And know ye that are near my might:

14. సీయోనులోనున్న పాపులు దిగులుపడుచున్నారు వణకు భక్తిహీనులను పట్టెను. మనలో ఎవడు నిత్యము దహించు అగ్నితో నివసింపగలడు? మనలో ఎవడు నిత్యము కాల్చుచున్నవాటితో నివసించును?

14. Terror-stricken in Zion, are sinners, Shuddering hath seized the impious, Who among us can sojourn with a fire that devoureth? Who among us can sojourn with burnings age-abiding?

15. నీతిని అనుసరించి నడచుచు యథార్థముగా మాట లాడుచు నిర్బంధనవలన వచ్చు లాభమును ఉపేక్షించుచు లంచము పుచ్చుకొనకుండ తన చేతులను మలుపుకొని హత్య యను మాట వినకుండ చెవులు మూసికొని చెడుతనము చూడకుండ కన్నులు మూసికొనువాడు ఉన్నతస్థలమున నివసించును.

15. He that walketh righteously, And speaketh uprightly, He that refuseth the gain of exactions That shaketh his hands free from holding a bribe, That stoppeth his ear from hearkening to deeds of blood, And shutteth his eyes from giving countenance to wrong,

16. పర్వతములలోని శిలలు అతనికి కోటయగును తప్పక అతనికి ఆహారము దొరకును అతని నీళ్లు అతనికి శాశ్వతముగా ఉండును.

16. He, the heights, shall inhabit, A stronghold of crags, shall be his refuge, His bread, hath been delivered, His waters, have been made sure,

17. అలంకరింపబడిన రాజును నీవు కన్నులార చూచె దవు బహు దూరమునకు వ్యాపించుచున్న దేశము నీకు కన బడును.

17. Of a king, in his beauty, shall thine eyes have vision: They shall see a land that stretcheth afar.

18. నీ హృదయము భయంకరమైనవాటినిబట్టి ధ్యానించును. జనసంఖ్య వ్రాయువాడెక్కడ ఉన్నాడు? తూచువాడెక్కడ ఉన్నాడు? బురుజులను లెక్కించువాడెక్కడ ఉన్నాడు?

18. Thy heart, may murmur in terror, Where is the scribe? Where the receiver? Where he that maketh a list of the towers?

19. నాగరికములేని ఆ జనమును గ్రహింపలేని గంభీరభాషయు నీకు తెలియని అన్య భాషయు పలుకు ఆ జనమును నీవికను చూడవు.

19. The fierce people, shalt thou not see, The people of too deep a lip to be understood, of too barbarous a tongue for thee to comprehend.

20. ఉత్సవకాలములలో మనము కూడుకొనుచున్న సీయోను పట్టణమును చూడుము నిమ్మళమైన కాపురముగాను తియ్యబడని గుడారముగాను నీ కన్నులు యెరూష లేమును చూచును దాని మేకులెన్నడును ఊడదీయబడవు దాని త్రాళ్లలో ఒక్కటియైనను తెగదు.

20. Look thou on Zion, the city of our appointed feast, Thine own eyes, shall see Jerusalem A home of comfort A tent which shall not be packed up Whose pins shall not be pulled out, for ever, And none of, whose cords, shall be broken.

21. అచ్చట యెహోవా ప్రభావముగలవాడై మన పక్షముననుండును, అది విశాలమైన నదులును కాలువలును ఉన్న స్థలముగా ఉండును అందులో తెడ్ల ఓడ యేదియు నడువదు గొప్ప ఓడ అక్కడికి రాదు.

21. But, there shall Yahweh be our majestic one, A places of rivers streams broad on both hands, Wherein shall go no galley with oars, Neither shall majestic ship traverse it;

22. యెహోవా మనకు న్యాయాధిపతి యెహోవా మన శాసనకర్త యెహోవా మన రాజు ఆయన మనలను రక్షించును.

22. For, Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh, is our lawgiver, Yahweh, is our king, He will save us!

23. నీ ఓడత్రాళ్లు వదలిపోయెను ఓడవారు తమ కొయ్య అడుగును దిట్టపరచరు చాపను విప్పి పట్టరు కాగా విస్తారమైన దోపుడు సొమ్ము విభాగింపబడును కుంటివారే దోపుడుసొమ్ము పంచుకొందురు.

23. Loosed are thy ropes, They cannot strengthen the socket of their mast They have not unfurled a sail Now, can be apportioned spoil, in abundance, The lame, have captured prey!

24. నాకు దేహములో బాగులేదని అందులో నివసించు వాడెవడును అనడు దానిలో నివసించు జనుల దోషము పరిహరింపబడును.

24. Neither shall the inhabitant say. I am sick, the people who dwell therein, have been forgiven iniquity.
