1. తూరునుగూర్చిన దేవోక్తి తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి తూరు పాడైపోయెను ఇల్లయినను లేదు ప్రవేశమార్గమైనను లేదు కిత్తీయుల దేశమునుండి ఆ సంగతి వారికి వెల్లడి చేయబడెను.
మత్తయి 11:21-22

1. The word concerning Tyre. Howl, you ships of Carthage; for she has perished, and [men] no longer arrive from the land of the Citians; she is led captive.

2. సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగలార్చుడి సముద్రము దాటుచుండు సీదోను వర్తకులు తమ సరకులతో నిన్ను నింపిరి.

2. To whom have the inhabitants of the island become like, the merchants of Phoenice, passing over the sea

3. షీహోరు నది ధాన్యము నైలునది పంట సముద్రముమీద నీలోనికి తేబడుచుండెను తూరువలన జనములకు లాభము వచ్చెను.

3. in great waters, a generation of merchants? As when the harvest is gathered in, [so are] these traders with the nations.

4. సీదోనూ, సిగ్గుపడుము, సముద్రము సముద్రదుర్గము మాటలాడుచున్నది నేను ప్రసవవేదనపడనిదానను పిల్లలు కననిదానను ¸యౌవనస్థులను పోషింపనిదానను కన్యకలను పెంచనిదానను.

4. Be ashamed, O Sidon; the sea has said, yea, the strength of the sea has said, I have not travailed, nor brought forth, nor have I brought up young men, nor reared virgins.

5. ఆ వర్తమానము ఐగుప్తీయులు విని తూరును గూర్చి మిక్కిలి దుఃఖింతురు.

5. Moreover when it shall be heard in Egypt, sorrow shall seize them for Tyre.

6. తర్షీషునకు వెళ్లుడి సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగ లార్చుడి.

6. Depart to Carthage. Howl, you that dwell in this island.

7. నీకు సంతోషము కలుగజేసిన పట్టణమిదేనా? ప్రాచీన కాలముననుండిన పట్టణమిదేనా? పరదేశనివాసముచేయుటకు దూరప్రయాణముచేసిన దిదేనా?

7. Was not this your pride from the beginning, before she was given up?

8. దాని వర్తకులు రాజసమానులు దాని వ్యాపారులు భూనివాసులలో ఘనులు కిరీటముల నిచ్చుచుండు తూరుకు ఈలాగు చేయ నెవడు ఉద్దేశించెను?

8. Who has devised this counsel against Tyre. Is she inferior? Or has she no strength? Her merchants were the glorious princes of the earth.

9. సర్వసౌందర్య గర్వాతిశయమును అపవిత్రపరచుట కును భూమిమీదనున్న సర్వఘనులను అవమానపరచుటకును సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు చేయ నుద్దేశించెను.

9. The Lord of hosts has purposed to bring down all the pride of the glorious ones, and to disgrace every glorious thing on the earth.

10. తర్షీషుకుమారీ, నీ దేశమునకిక నడికట్టు లేకపోయెను నైలునది ప్రవహించునట్లు దానిమీద ప్రవహించుము.

10. Till your land; for ships no more come out of Carthage.

11. ఆయన సముద్రముమీద తన చెయ్యి చాపెను రాజ్యములను కంపింపజేసెను కనానుకోటలను నశింపజేయుటకు యెహోవా దాని గూర్చి ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

11. And your hand prevails no more by sea, which troubled kings; the Lord of hosts has given a command concerning Canaan, to destroy the strength thereof.

12. మరియు ఆయన సీదోను కన్యకా, చెరపబడినదానా, నీకికను సంతోషముండదు నీవు లేచి కిత్తీముకు దాటి పొమ్ము అక్కడనైనను నీకు నెమ్మది కలుగదు

12. And [men] shall say, You shall no longer at all continue to insult and injure the daughter of Sidon; and if you depart to the Citians, neither there shall you have rest.

13. ఇదిగో కల్దీయుల దేశమును చూడుము వారికను జనముగా ఉండరు అష్షూరీయులు దానిని అడవిమృగములకు నివాసముగా చేసియున్నారు. వారు కోటలు కట్టించి దాని నగరులను పడగొట్టి యున్నారు.

13. And [if you depart] to the land of the Chaldeans, this also is laid waste by the Assyrians, for her wall is fallen.

14. తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి, మీ దుర్గము పాడై పోయెను.

14. Howl, you ships of Carthage; for your stronghold is destroyed.

15. ఒక రాజు ఏలుబడిలో జరిగినట్లు తూరు ఆ దినమున డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములు మరవబడును డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములైన తరువాత వేశ్యల కీర్తనలో ఉన్నట్లు జరుగును, ఏమనగా

15. And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] Tyre shall be left seventy years, as the time of a king, as the time of a man; and it shall come to pass after seventy years, [that] Tyre shall be as the song of a harlot.

16. మరవబడిన వేశ్యా, సితారాతీసికొని పట్టణములో తిరుగులాడుము నీవు జ్ఞాపకమునకు వచ్చునట్లు ఇంపుగా వాయిం చుము అనేక కీర్తనలు పాడుము.

16. Take a harp, go about, O city, you harlot that have been forgotten; play well on the harp, sing many [songs], that you may be remembered.

17. డెబ్బది సంవత్సరముల అంతమున యెహోవా తూరును దర్శించును అది వేశ్యజీతమునకు మరల భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త లోక రాజ్యములతో వ్యభిచారము చేయును.

17. And it shall come to pass after the seventy years, [that] God will visit Tyre, and she shall be again restored to her primitive state, and she shall be a mart for all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth.

18. వేశ్యజీతముగా ఉన్నదాని వర్తకలాభము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమగును అది కూర్చబడదు ధననిధిలో వేయబడదు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నివసించువారికి సంతుష్టి ఇచ్చు భోజనమునకును ప్రశస్త వస్త్రములకును ఆ పట్టణపు లాభము ఆధారముగా నుండును.

18. And her trade and her gain shall be holiness to the Lord; it shall not be gathered for them, but for those that dwell before the Lord, [even] all her trade, to eat and drink and be filled, and for a covenant [and] a memorial before the Lord.
