1. యూదాను గూర్చియు యెరూషలేమును గూర్చియు ఆమోజు కుమారుడైన యెషయాకు దర్శనమువలన కలిగిన దేవోక్తి

1. This is the word that Yesha'yahu the son of Amotz saw concerning Y'hudah and Yerushalayim:

2. అంత్యదినములలో పర్వతములపైన యెహోవా మందిర పర్వతము పర్వత శిఖరమున స్థిరపరచబడి కొండల కంటె ఎత్తుగా ఎత్తబడును ప్రవాహము వచ్చినట్లు సమస్త అన్యజనులు దానిలోనికి వచ్చెదరు

2. In the [acharit-hayamim] the mountain of ADONAI's house will be established as the most important mountain. It will be regarded more highly than the other hills, and all the [Goyim] will stream there.

3. ఆ కాలమున సీయోనులోనుండి ధర్మశాస్త్రము యెరూషలేములోనుండి యెహోవా వాక్కు బయలు వెళ్లును. జనములు గుంపులు గుంపులుగా వచ్చి యాకోబు దేవుని మందిరమునకు యెహోవా పర్వతమునకు మనము వెళ్లుదము రండి ఆయన తన మార్గముల విషయమై మనకు బోధించును మనము ఆయన త్రోవలలో నడుతము అని చెప్పుకొందురు.

3. Many peoples will go and say, 'Come, let's go up to the mountain of ADONAI, to the house of the God of Ya'akov! He will teach us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.' For out of Tziyon will go forth [Torah], the word of ADONAI from Yerushalayim.

4. ఆయన మధ్యవర్తియై అన్యజనులకు న్యాయము తీర్చును అనేక జనములకు తీర్పుతీర్చును వారు తమ ఖడ్గములను నాగటి నక్కులుగాను తమ యీటెలను మచ్చుకత్తులుగాను సాగగొట్టుదురు జనముమీదికి జనము ఖడ్గమెత్తక యుండును యుద్ధముచేయ నేర్చుకొనుట ఇక మానివేయును.

4. He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. Then they will hammer their swords into plow-blades and their spears into pruning-knives; nations will not raise swords at each other, and they will no longer learn war.

6. యాకోబు వంశమగు ఈ జనము తూర్పున నుండిన జనుల సంప్రదాయములతో నిండుకొనియున్నారు వారు ఫిలిష్తీయులవలెమంత్ర ప్రయోగము చేయుదురు అన్యులతో సహవాసము చేయుదురు గనుక నీవు వారిని విసర్జించి యున్నావు.

6. For you have abandoned your people the house of Ya'akov. Now they are filled from the east, full of sorcerers, like the P'lishtim; even the children of foreigners are enough for them!

7. వారి దేశము వెండి బంగారములతో నిండియున్నది వారి ఆస్తి సంపాద్యమునకు మితిలేదు వారి దేశము గుఱ్ఱములతో నిండియున్నది వారి రథములకు మితిలేదు.

7. Their land is full of silver and gold; They have no end of treasures. Their land is full of horses; They have no end of chariots.

8. వారి దేశము విగ్రహములతో నిండియున్నది వారు తమ చేతిపనికి తాము వ్రేళ్లతో చేసిన దానికి నమస్కారము చేయుదురు

8. Their land is full of idols; everyone worships the work of his hands, what his own fingers have made.

9. అల్పులు అణగద్రొక్కబడుదురు ఘనులు తగ్గింప బడు దురు కాబట్టి వారిని క్షమింపకుము.

9. A person bows down, a man lowers himself- don't forgive them!

10. యెహోవా భీకరసన్నిధినుండియు ఆయన ప్రభావ మహాత్మ్యమునుండియు బండ బీటలోనికి దూరుము మంటిలో దాగి యుండుము.

10. Come into the rock, hide in the dust to escape the terror of ADONAI and the glory of his majesty.

11. నరుల అహంకారదృష్టి తగ్గింపబడును మనుష్యుల గర్వము అణగద్రొక్కబడును ఆ దినమున యెహోవా మాత్రమే ఘనత వహించును.

11. The proud looks of man will be humiliated; the arrogance of men will be bowed down; and when that day comes, ADONAI alone will be exalted.

12. అహంకారాతిశయముగల ప్రతిదానికిని ఔన్నత్యము గల ప్రతిదానికిని విమర్శించు దినమొకటి సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా నియమించియున్నాడు అవి అణగద్రొక్కబడును.

12. Yes, ADONAI-[Tzva'ot] has a day in store for all who are proud and lofty, for all who are lifted high to be humiliated;

13. ఔన్నత్యము కలిగి అతిశయించు లెబానోను దేవదారు వృక్షములకన్నిటికిని బాషాను సిందూర వృక్షములకన్నిటికిని

13. for all cedars of the L'vanon that are high and lifted up, for all the oaks of the Bashan;

14. ఉన్నతపర్వతములకన్నిటికిని ఎత్తయిన మెట్లకన్నిటికిని

14. for all the high mountains, for all the hills that are lifted up;

15. ఉన్నతమైన ప్రతిగోపురమునకును బురుజులుగల ప్రతి కోటకును

15. for every high tower, for every fortified wall;

16. తర్షీషు ఓడలకన్నిటికిని రమ్యమైన విచిత్ర వస్తువుల కన్నిటికిని ఆ దినము నియమింపబడియున్నది.

16. for every 'Tarshish' ship, for every luxurious vessel.

17. అప్పుడు నరుల అహంకారము అణగద్రొక్కబడును మనుష్యుల గర్వము తగ్గింపబడును ఆ దినమున యెహోవామాత్రమే ఘనత వహించును.

17. The pride of man will be bowed down, the arrogance of men will be humiliated, and when that day comes, ADONAI alone will be exalted.

18. విగ్రహములు బొత్తిగా నశించిపోవును.

18. The idols will be completely abolished.

19. యెహోవా భూమిని గజగజ వణకింప లేచునప్పుడు ఆయన భీకర సన్నిధినుండియు ఆయన ప్రభావ మాహాత్మ్యమునుండియు మనుష్యులు కొండల గుహలలో దూరుదురు నేల బొరియలలో దూరుదురు.

19. People will enter cracks in the rocks and holes in the ground to escape the terror of ADONAI and his glorious majesty, when he sets out to convulse the earth.

20. ఆ దినమున యెహోవా భూమిని గజగజ వణకింప లేచునప్పుడు ఆయన భీకర సన్నిధినుండియు ఆయన ప్రభావ మాహాత్మ్యమునుండియు కొండల గుహలలోను బండబీటలలోను

20. On that day a man will take hold of his idols of silver and idols of gold, which they made for themselves to worship, and fling them away to the moles and bats!

21. దూరవలెనన్న ఆశతో నరులు తాము పూజించుటకై చేయించుకొనిన వెండి విగ్రహములను సువర్ణ విగ్రహ ములను ఎలుకలకును గబ్బిలములకును పారవేయుదురు.

21. Then they will enter the cracks in the rocks and the crevices in the cliffs to escape the terror of ADONAI and his glorious majesty, when he sets out to convulse the earth.

22. తన నాసికారంధ్రములలో ప్రాణముకలిగిన నరుని లక్ష్యపెట్టకుము; వానిని ఏవిషయములో ఎన్నిక చేయవచ్చును?

22. Stop relying on man, in whose nostrils is a mere breath- after all, he doesn't count for much, does he?
