1. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తిరిగి పీహహీరోతు ఎదుటను, అనగా మిగ్దోలుకు సముద్రమునకు మధ్య నున్న బయల్సెఫోను నెదుటను, దిగవలెనని వారితో చెప్పుము; దాని యెదుటి సముద్రమునొద్ద వారు దిగవలెను.

2. Speak to the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

3. ఫరో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనుగూర్చి - వారు ఈ దేశములో చిక్కుబడి యున్నారు; అరణ్యము వారిని మూసి వేసెనని అనుకొనును.

3. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They {are} entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

4. అయితే నేను ఫరో హృదయమును కఠినపరచెదను; అతడు వారిని తరుమగా; నేను ఫరో వలనను అతని సమస్త సేన వలనను మహిమ తెచ్చుకొందును; నేను యెహోవానని ఐగుప్తీయుల

4. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow them; and I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I {am} the LORD. And they did so.

5. ప్రజలు పారిపోయినట్టు ఐగుప్తు రాజునకు తెలుపబడినప్పుడు ఫరో హృదయమును అతని సేవకుల హృదయమును ప్రజలకు విరోధముగా త్రిప్ప బడి మనమెందుకీలాగు చేసితివిు? మన సేవలో నుండకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను ఎందుకు పోనిచ్చితివిు అని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

5. And it was told to the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

6. అంతట అతడు తన రథమును సిద్ధపరచుకొని, తన జనమును తనతోకూడ తీసికొని పోయెను.

6. And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

7. మరియు అతడు శ్రేష్ఠమైన ఆరువందల రథములను ఐగుప్తు రథముల నన్నిటిని వాటిలో ప్రతిదానిమీద అధిపతులను తోడు కొనిపోయెను.

7. And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

8. యెహోవా ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరో హృదయమును కఠినపరపగా అతడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను తరిమెను. అట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు బలిమిచేత బయలు వెళ్లుచుండిరి.

8. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with a high hand.

9. ఐగుప్తీయులు, అనగా ఫరో రథముల గుఱ్ఱములన్నియు అతని గుఱ్ఱపు రౌతులు అతని దండును వారిని తరిమి, బయల్సెఫోను ఎదుటనున్న పీహహీరోతునకు సమీపమైన సముద్రము దగ్గర వారు దిగియుండగా వారిని కలిసికొనిరి.

9. But the Egyptians pursued them (all the horses {and} chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army) and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pi-hahiroth, before Baal-zephon.

10. ఫరో సమీపించుచుండగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు కన్నులెత్తి ఐగుప్తీయులు తమ వెనుక వచ్చుట చూచి మిక్కిలి భయపడి యెహోవాకు మొఱపెట్టిరి.

10. And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were greatly afraid; and the children of Israel cried to the LORD.

11. అంతట వారు మోషేతో - ఐగుప్తులో సమాధులు లేవని యీ యరణ్యములో చచ్చుటకు మమ్మును రప్పించితివా? మమ్మును ఐగుప్తులోనుండి బయటికి రప్పించి మమ్మును ఇట్లు చేయనేల?

11. And they said to Moses, Because {there were} no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why hast thou dealt thus with us, to conduct us out of Egypt?

12. మా జోలికి రావద్దు, ఐగుప్తీయులకు దాసుల మగుదుమని ఐగుప్తులో మేము నీతో చెప్పిన మాట యిదే గదా; మేము ఈ అరణ్యమందు చచ్చుటకంటెె ఐగుప్తీయులకు దాసుల మగుటయే మేలని చెప్పిరి.

12. {Is} not this the word that we told thee in Egypt, Saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For {it had been} better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

13. అందుకు మోషే భయపడకుడి, యెహోవా మీకు నేడు కలుగజేయు రక్షణను మీరు ఊరక నిలుచుండి చూడుడి; మీరు నేడు చూచిన ఐగుప్తీయులను ఇకమీదట మరి ఎన్నడును చూడరు.

13. And Moses said to the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to-day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to-day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14. యెహోవా మీ పక్షమున యుద్ధము చేయును, మీరు ఊరకయే యుండవలెనని ప్రజలతో చెప్పెను.

14. The LORD will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

15. అంతలో యెహోవా మోషేతో - నీవేల నాకు మొఱ పెట్టుచున్నావు? సాగిపోవుడి అని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పుము.

15. And the LORD said to Moses, Why criest thou to me? Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward:

16. నీవు నీ కఱ్ఱను ఎత్తి ఆ సముద్రమువైపు నీ చెయ్యి చాపి దాని పాయలుగా చేయుము, అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు సముద్రము మధ్యను ఆరిన నేలమీద నడిచిపోవుదురు.

16. But lift thou thy rod, and stretch out thy hand over the sea, and divide it; and the children of Israel shall go on dry {ground} through the midst of the sea.

17. ఇదిగో నేను నేనే ఐగుప్తీయుల హృదయములను కఠినపరుచుదును. వారు వీరిని తరుముదురు; నేను ఫరోవలనను అతని సమస్త సేనవలనను అతని రథముల వలనను అతని గుఱ్ఱపు రౌతులవలనను నాకు మహిమ తెచ్చుకొందును.

17. And I, behold I, will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots and upon his horsemen.

18. నేను ఫరోవలనను అతని రథములవలనను అతని గుఱ్ఱపు రౌతులవలనను మహిమ తెచ్చుకొనునప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానని ఐగుప్తీయులు తెలిసికొందురనెను.

18. And the Egyptians shall know that I {am} the LORD, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యెదుట సమూహమునకు ముందుగా నడిచిన దేవదూత వారి వెనుకకుపోయి వారిని వెంబడించెను; ఆ మేఘస్తంభము వారి యెదుటనుండి పోయి వారి వెనుక నిలిచెను

19. And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removed, and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

20. అది ఐగుప్తీయుల సేనకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సేనకు నడుమ ప్రవేశించెను; అది మేఘము గనుక వారికి చీకటి కలిగెను గాని, రాత్రి అది వీరికి వెలుగిచ్చెను గనుక ఆ రాత్రి అంతయు ఐగుప్తీయుల సేన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సమీపింపలేదు.

20. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness {to them}, but it gave light by night {to these}: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

21. మోషే సముద్రమువైపు తన చెయ్యి చాపగా యెహోవా ఆ రాత్రి అంతయు బలమైన తూర్పుగాలిచేత సముద్రమును తొలగించి దానిని ఆరిన నేలగా చేసెను.

21. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD caused the sea to go {back} by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry {land}, and the waters were divided.

22. నీళ్లు విభజింపబడగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు సముద్రము మధ్యను ఆరిన నేల మీద నడిచిపోయిరి. ఆ నీళ్లు వారి కుడి యెడమ ప్రక్కలను వారికి గోడవలె నుండెను.

22. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry {ground}: and the waters {were} a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.

23. ఐగుప్తీయులును ఫరో గుఱ్ఱములును రథములును రౌతులును వారిని తరిమి సముద్ర మధ్యమున చేరిరి.

23. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, {even} all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24. అయితే వేకువ జామున యెహోవా ఆ అగ్ని మేఘమయమైన స్తంభమునుండి ఐగుప్తీయుల దండు వైపు చూచి ఐగుప్తీయుల దండును కలవరపరచి

24. And it came to pass, that, in the morning-watch, the LORD looked to the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire, and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

25. వారి రథచక్రములు ఊడిపడునట్లు చేయగా వారు బహు కష్టపడి తోలుచుండిరి. అప్పుడు ఐగుప్తీయులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యెదుటనుండి పారిపోదము రండి; యెహోవా వారిపక్షమున మనతో యుద్ధము చేయుచున్నాడని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

25. And took off their chariot-wheels, and made them to move heavily, so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

26. అంతలో యెహోవా మోషేతో - ఐగుప్తీయుల మీదికిని వారి రథములమీదికిని వారి రౌతులమీదికిని నీళ్లు తిరిగి వచ్చునట్లు సముద్రముమీద నీ చెయ్యి చాపుమనెను.

26. And the LORD said to Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

27. మోషే సముద్రముమీద తన చెయ్యి చాపగా ప్రొద్దు పొడిచినప్పుడు సముద్రము అధిక బలముతో తిరిగి పొర్లెను గనుక ఐగుప్తీయులు అది చూచి వెనుకకు పారిపోయిరి. అప్పుడు యెహోవా సముద్రముమధ్యను ఐగుప్తీయులను నాశము చేసెను.

27. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

28. నీళ్లు తిరిగి వచ్చి ఆ రథములను రౌతులను వారి వెనుక సముద్రములోనికి వచ్చిన ఫరోయొక్క సర్వసేనను కప్పివేసెను; వారిలో ఒక్కడైనను మిగిలి యుండలేదు.

28. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, {and} all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

29. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఆరిననేలను సముద్రము మధ్యనున్నప్పుడు ఆ నీళ్లు వారి కుడి యెడమ ప్రక్కలను గోడవలె నుండెను.

29. But the children of Israel walked upon dry {land} in the midst of the sea; and the waters {were} a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.

30. ఆ దినమున యెహోవా ఐగుప్తీయుల చేతిలోనుండి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను రక్షించెను. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చచ్చిన ఐగుప్తీయులను సముద్రతీరమున చూచిరి.

30. Thus the LORD saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians: and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea-shore.

31. యెహోవా ఐగుప్తీయులకు చేసిన గొప్ప కార్యమును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చూచిరి గనుక ఆ ప్రజలు యెహోవాకు భయపడి యెహోవాయందును ఆయన సేవకుడైన మోషేయందును నమ్మకముంచిరి.

31. And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
