1. నా స్తుతికి కారణభూతుడవగు దేవా, మౌనముగా ఉండకుము

2. నన్ను చెరపవలెనని భక్తిహీనులు తమ నోరు కపటముగల తమ నోరు తెరచియున్నారు వారు నామీద అబద్ధములు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నారు.

2. Destructive and deceitful lies are told about me,

3. నన్ను చుట్టుకొని నా మీద ద్వేషపు మాటలాడు చున్నారు నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నాతో పోరాడుచున్నారు
యోహాను 15:25

3. and hateful things are said for no reason.

4. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా వారు నామీద పగ పట్టియున్నారు అయితే నేను మానక ప్రార్థనచేయుచున్నాను.

4. I had pity and prayed for my enemies, but their words to me were harsh and cruel.

5. నేను చేసిన మేలునకు ప్రతిగా కీడు చేయుచున్నారు. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా నామీద ద్వేష ముంచుచున్నారు.

5. For being friendly and kind, they paid me back with meanness and hatred.

6. వానిమీద భక్తిహీనుని అధికారిగా నుంచుము అపవాది వాని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచును గాక.

6. My enemies said, 'Find some worthless fools to accuse him of a crime.

7. వాడు విమర్శలోనికి తేబడునప్పుడు దోషియని తీర్పు నొందును గాక వాని ప్రార్థన పాపమగునుగాక

7. Try him and find him guilty! Consider his prayers a lie.

8. వాని జీవితదినములు కొద్దివగును గాక వాని ఉద్యోగమును వేరొకడు తీసికొనును గాక.

8. Cut his life short and let someone else have his job.

9. వాని బిడ్డలు తండ్రిలేనివారవుదురు గాక వాని భార్య విధవరాలగును గాక

9. Make orphans of his children and a widow of his wife;

10. వాని బిడ్డలు దేశద్రిమ్మరులై భిక్షమెత్తుదురు గాక పాడుపడిన తమ యిండ్లకు దూరముగా జీవనము వెదకుదురు గాక

10. make his children beg for food and live in the slums.

11. వాని ఆస్తి అంతయు అప్పులవారు ఆక్రమించు కొందురు గాక వాని కష్టార్జితమును పరులు దోచుకొందురుగాక

11. Let the people he owes take everything he owns. Give it all to strangers.

12. వానికి కృప చూపువారు లేకపోదురు గాక తండ్రిలేనివాని బిడ్డలకు దయచూపువారు ఉండక పోదురు గాక

12. Don't let anyone be kind to him or have pity on the children he leaves behind.

13. వాని వంశము నిర్మూలము చేయబడును గాక వచ్చుతరమునందు వారి పేరు మాసిపోవును గాక

13. Bring an end to his family, and from now on let him be a forgotten man.

14. వాని పితరులదోషము యెహోవా జ్ఞాపకములోనుంచు కొనును గాక వాని తల్లి పాపము తుడుపుపెట్టబడక యుండును గాక

14. Don't let the LORD forgive the sins of his parents and his ancestors.

15. ఆయన వారి జ్ఞాపకమును భూమిమీదనుండి కొట్టి వేయునట్లు ఆ పాపములు నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడుచుండునుగాక.

15. Don't let the LORD forget the sins of his family, or let anyone remember his family ever lived.

16. ఏలయనగా కృప చూపవలెనన్నమాట మరచి శ్రమనొందినవానిని దరిద్రుని నలిగిన హృదయము గలవానిని చంపవలెనని వాడు అతని తరిమెను.

16. He was so cruel to the poor, homeless, and discouraged that they died young.

17. శపించుట వానికి ప్రీతి గనుక అది వానిమీదికి వచ్చి యున్నది. దీవెనయందు వానికిష్టము లేదు గనుక అది వానికి దూరమాయెను.

17. He cursed others. Now place a curse on him! He never wished others well. Wish only trouble for him!

18. తాను పైబట్ట వేసికొనునట్లు వాడు శాపము ధరించెను అది నీళ్లవలె వాని కడుపులో చొచ్చియున్నది తైలమువలె వాని యెముకలలో చేరియున్నది

18. He cursed others more often than he dressed himself. Let his curses strike him deep, just as water and olive oil soak through to our bones.

19. తాను కప్పుకొను వస్త్రమువలెను తాను నిత్యము కట్టుకొను నడికట్టువలెను అది వానిని వదలకుండును గాక.

19. Let his curses surround him, just like the clothes he wears each day.'

20. నా విరోధులకు నా ప్రాణమునకు విరోధముగా మాట లాడువారికి ఇదే యెహోవావలన కలుగు ప్రతికారము.

20. Those are the cruel things my enemies wish for me. Let it all happen to them!

21. యెహోవా ప్రభువా, నీ నామమునుబట్టి నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృప ఉత్తమమైనది గనుక నన్ను విడిపింపుము.

21. Be true to your name, LORD God! Show your great kindness and rescue me.

22. నేను దీనదరిద్రుడను నా హృదయము నాలో గుచ్చ బడియున్నది.

22. I am poor and helpless, and I have lost all hope.

23. సాగిపోయిన నీడవలె నేను క్షీణించియున్నాను మిడతలను పారదోలునట్లు నన్ను పారదోలుదురు

23. I am fading away like an evening shadow; I am tossed aside like a crawling insect.

24. ఉపవాసముచేత నా మోకాళ్లు బలహీనమాయెను నా శరీరము పుష్టి తగ్గి చిక్కిపోయెను.

24. I have gone without eating, until my knees are weak, and my body is bony.

25. వారి నిందలకు నేను ఆస్పదుడనైతిని వారు నన్ను చూచి తమ తలలు ఊచెదరు

25. When my enemies see me, they say cruel things and shake their heads.

26. యెహోవా నా దేవా, యిది నీచేత జరిగినదనియు యెహోవావైన నీవే దీని చేసితివనియు వారికి తెలియునట్లు

26. Please help me, LORD God! Come and save me because of your love.

27. నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృపనుబట్టి నన్ను రక్షింపుము.

27. Let others know that you alone have saved me.

28. వారు శపించుచున్నారు గాని నీవు దీవించుదువు వారు లేచి అవమానము పొందెదరు గాని నీ సేవకుడు సంతోషించును.

28. I don't care if they curse me, as long as you bless me. You will make my enemies fail when they attack, and you will make me glad to be your servant.

29. నా విరోధులు అవమానము ధరించుకొందురు గాక తమ సిగ్గునే నిలువుటంగీవలె కప్పుకొందురు గాక

29. You will cover them with shame, just as their bodies are covered with clothes.

30. నా నోటితో నేను యెహోవాకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు మెండుగా చెల్లించెదను అనేకుల మధ్యను నేనాయనను స్తుతించెదను.

30. I will sing your praises and thank you, LORD, when your people meet.

31. దరిద్రుని ప్రాణమును విమర్శకు లోపరచువారి చేతి లోనుండి అతని రక్షించుటకై యెహోవా అతని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచుచున్నాడు.

31. You help everyone in need, and you defend them when they are on trial.
