2. నీవు దాని ముక్కుగుండ సూత్రము వేయగలవా? దాని దవడకు గాలము ఎక్కింపగలవా?

3. అది నీతో విన్నపములు చేయునా? మృదువైన మాటలు నీతో పలుకునా?

3. Will it keep begging you for mercy? Will it speak gently to you?

4. నీవు శాశ్వతముగా దానిని దాసునిగా చేసికొనునట్లు అది నీతో నిబంధనచేయునా?

4. Will it make an agreement with you? Can you make it your slave for life?

5. నీవు ఒక పిట్టతో ఆటలాడునట్లు దానితో ఆట లాడెదవా? నీ కన్యకలు ఆడుకొనుటకై దాని కట్టివేసెదవా?

5. Can you make a pet out of it like a bird? Can you put it on a leash for your young women?

6. బెస్తవారు దానితో వ్యాపారము చేయుదురా? వారు దానిని తునకలు చేసి వర్తకులతో వ్యాపారము చేయుదురా?

6. Will traders offer you something for it? Will they divide it up among the merchants?

7. దాని ఒంటినిండ ఇనుప శూలములు గుచ్చగలవా? దాని తలనిండ చేప అలుగులు గుచ్చగలవా?

7. Can you fill its body with harpoons? Can you throw fishing spears into its head?

8. దానిమీద నీ చెయ్యి వేసి చూడుము దానితో కలుగు పోరు నీవు జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనిన యెడల నీవు మరల ఆలాగున చేయకుందువు.

8. If you touch it, it will fight you. Then you will remember never to touch it again!

9. దాని చూచినప్పుడు మనుష్యులు దానిని వశపరచు కొందుమన్న ఆశ విడిచెదరు దాని పొడ చూచిన మాత్రముచేతనే యెవరికైనను గుండెలు అవిసిపోవును గదా.

12. దాని అవయవములను గూర్చియైనను దాని మహాబల మునుగూర్చియైనను దాని చక్కని తీరునుగూర్చి యైనను పలుకక మౌనముగా నుండను.

12. 'Now I will speak about the leviathan's legs. I will talk about its strength and its graceful body.

13. ఎవడైన దాని పై కవచమును లాగివేయగలడా? దాని రెండు దవడల నడిమికి ఎవడైన రాగలడా?

13. Who can strip off its outer coat? Who would try to put a bridle on it?

14. దాని ముఖద్వారములను తెరవగలవాడెవడు? దాని పళ్లచుట్టు భయకంపములు కలవు

14. Who dares to open its jaws? Its mouth is filled with terrifying teeth.

15. దాని గట్టిపొలుసులు దానికి అతిశయాస్పదము ఎవరును తీయలేని ముద్రచేత అవి సంతనచేయబడి యున్నవి.

15. Its back has rows of shields that are close together.

16. అవి ఒకదానితో ఒకటి హత్తుకొని యున్నవి. వాటి మధ్యకు గాలి యేమాత్రమును జొరనేరదు.

16. Each one is so close to the next one that not even air can pass between them.

17. ఒకదానితో ఒకటి అతకబడి యున్నవి భేదింప శక్యము కాకుండ అవి యొకదానితో నొకటి కలిసికొని యున్నవి.

17. They are joined tightly to one another. They stick together and can't be forced apart.

18. అది తుమ్మగా వెలుగు ప్రకాశించును దాని కన్నులు ఉదయకాలపు కనురెప్పలవలె నున్నవి

18. The leviathan's snorting throws out flashes of light. Its eyes shine like the first light of day.

19. దాని నోటనుండి జ్వాలలు బయలుదేరును అగ్ని కణములు దానినుండి లేచును.

19. Fire seems to spray out of its mouth. Sparks of fire shoot out.

20. ఉడుకుచున్న కాగులోనుండి, జమ్ముమంటమీద కాగు చున్న బానలోనుండి పొగ లేచునట్లు దాని నాసికారంధ్రములలోనుండి లేచును.

20. Smoke pours out of its nose. It is like smoke from a boiling pot over burning grass.

21. దాని ఊపిరి నిప్పులను రాజబెట్టును దాని నోటనుండి జ్వాలలు బయలుదేరును

21. Its breath sets coals on fire. Flames fly out of its mouth.

22. దాని మెడ బలమునకు స్థానము భయము దానియెదుట తాండవమాడుచుండును

22. Its neck is very strong. People run to get out of its way.

23. దాని ప్రక్కలమీద మాంసము దళముగా ఉన్నది అది దాని ఒంటిని గట్టిగా అంటియున్నది అది ఊడి రాదు.

23. Its rolls of fat are close together. They are firm and can't be moved.

24. దాని గుండె రాతివలె గట్టిగా నున్నది అది తిరుగటి క్రింది దిమ్మంత కఠినము.

24. Its chest is as hard as rock. It is as hard as a lower millstone.

25. అది లేచునప్పుడు బలిష్ఠులు భయపడుదురు అధిక భయముచేత వారు మైమరతురు.

25. When the leviathan rises up, even mighty people are terrified. They run away when it moves around wildly.

26. దాని చంపుటకై ఒకడు ఖడ్గము దూయుట వ్యర్థమే ఈటెలైనను బాణములైనను పంట్రకోలలైనను అక్క రకు రావు.

26. A sword that strikes it has no effect. Neither does a spear or dart or javelin.

27. ఇది ఇనుమును గడ్డిపోచగాను ఇత్తడిని పుచ్చిపోయిన కఱ్ఱగాను ఎంచును.

27. It treats iron as if it were straw. It crushes bronze as if it were rotten wood.

28. బాణము దానిని పారదోలజాలదు వడిసెల రాళ్లు దాని దృష్టికి చెత్తవలె ఉన్నవి.

28. Arrows do not make it run away. Stones that are thrown from slings are like straw hitting it.

29. దుడ్డుకఱ్ఱలు గడ్డిపరకలుగా ఎంచబడును అది వడిగా పోవుచుండు ఈటెను చూచి నవ్వును.

29. A club seems like a piece of straw to it. It laughs when it hears a javelin rattling.

30. దాని క్రిందిభాగములు కరుకైన చిల్లపెంకులవలె ఉన్నవి. అది బురదమీద నురిపిడికొయ్యవంటి తన దేహమును పరచుకొనును.

30. Its undersides are like broken pieces of pottery. It leaves a trail in the mud like a threshing sled.

31. కాగు మసలునట్లు మహాసముద్రమును అది పొంగ జేయును సముద్రమును తైలమువలె చేయును.

31. It makes the ocean churn like a boiling pot. It stirs up the sea like perfume someone is making.

32. అది తాను నడచిన త్రోవను తన వెనుక ప్రకాశింప జేయును చూచినవారికి సముద్రము నెరసిన వెండ్రుకలుగా తోచును.

32. It leaves a shiny trail behind it. You would think the ocean had white hair.

33. అది భయములేనిదిగా సృజింపబడినది భూమిమీద దానివంటిదేదియు లేదు.

33. Nothing on earth is equal to the leviathan. That creature is not afraid of anything.

34. అది గొప్పవాటినన్నిటిని తిరస్కరించును గర్వించిన జంతువులన్నిటికి అది రాజు.

34. It looks down on proud people. It rules over all those who are proud.'
