1. అప్పుడు యెహోవా సుడిగాలిలోనుండి ఈలాగున యోబునకు ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను

1. And after Elihu had ceased from speaking, the Lord spoke to Job through the whirlwind and clouds, [saying],

2. జ్ఞానములేని మాటలు చెప్పిఆలోచనను చెరుపుచున్న వీడెవడు?

2. Who is this that hides counsel from Me, and confines words in [his] heart, and thinks to conceal [them] from Me?

3. పౌరుషము తెచ్చుకొని నీ నడుము బిగించుకొనుము నేను నీకు ప్రశ్న వేయుదును నీవు దానిని నాకు తెలియజెప్పుము.
లూకా 12:35

3. Gird your loins like a man, and I will ask you, and you shall answer Me!

4. నేను భూమికి పునాదులు వేసినప్పుడు నీవెక్కడ నుంటివి?నీకు వివేకము కలిగియున్నయెడల చెప్పుము.

4. Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell me now, if you have knowledge.

5. నీకు తెలిసినయెడల దానికి పరిమాణమును నియమించిన వాడెవడో చెప్పుము.

5. Who set the measures of it, if you know? Or who stretched a line upon it?

6. దానిమీద పరిమాణపు కొల వేసినవాడెవడో చెప్పుము. దాని స్తంభముల పాదులు దేనితో కట్టబడినవో చెప్పుము.

6. On what are its rings fastened? And who is He that laid the cornerstone upon it?

7. ఉదయనక్షత్రములు ఏకముగా కూడి పాడినప్పుడు దేవదూతలందరును ఆనందించి జయధ్వనులు చేసి నప్పుడు దాని మూలరాతిని వేసినవాడెవడు?

7. When the stars were made, all My angels praised Me with a loud voice.

8. సముద్రము దాని గర్భమునుండి పొర్లి రాగా తలుపులచేత దానిని మూసినవాడెవడు?

8. And I shut up the sea with gates, when it rushed out, coming forth out its mother's womb.

9. నేను మేఘమును దానికి వస్త్రముగాను గాఢాంధకారమును దానికి పొత్తిగుడ్డగాను వేసి నప్పుడు నీవుంటివా?

9. And I made a cloud its clothing, and swathed it in mist.

10. దానికి సరిహద్దు నియమించి దానికి అడ్డగడియలను తలుపులను పెట్టించినప్పుడు

10. And I set bounds to it, surrounding it with bars and gates.

11. నీవు ఇంతవరకే గాని మరి దగ్గరకు రాకూడదనియు ఇక్కడనే నీ తరంగముల పొంగు అణపబడుననియు నేను చెప్పినప్పుడు నీవుంటివా?

11. And I said to it, To this point you shall come, but you shall not go beyond, but your waves shall be confined within you.

12. అరుణోదయము భూమి దిగంతములవరకు వ్యాపించు నట్లును

12. Or did I order the morning light in your time; and did the morning star [then first] see his appointed place;

13. అది దుష్టులను తనలోనుండకుండ దులిపివేయునట్లును నీ వెప్పుడైన ఉదయమును కలుగజేసితివా? అరుణోదయమునకు దాని స్థలమును తెలిపితివా?

13. to lay hold of the extremities of the earth, to cast out the ungodly out of it?

14. ముద్రవలన మంటికి రూపము కలుగునట్లు అది పుట్టగా భూముఖము మార్పునొందును విచిత్రమైన పనిగల వస్త్రమువలె సమస్తమును కనబడును.

14. Or did you take [the] clay of the ground, and form a living creature [with it], and set it with the power of speech upon the earth?

15. దుష్టుల వెలుగు వారియొద్దనుండి తీసివేయబడును వారెత్తిన బాహువు విరుగగొట్టబడును.

15. Have you removed light from the ungodly, and crushed the arm of the proud?

16. సముద్రపు ఊటలలోనికి నీవు చొచ్చితివా?మహాసముద్రము అడుగున నీవు సంచరించితివా?

16. Or have you gone to the source of the sea, and walked in the tracks of the deep?

17. మరణద్వారములు నీకు తెరవబడెనా? మరణాంధకార ద్వారములను నీవు చూచితివా?

17. And do the gates of death open to you out of fear; and did the porters of hell quake when they saw you?

18. భూమి వైశాల్యత ఎంతో నీవు గ్రహించితివా? నీకేమైన తెలిసివయెడల చెప్పుము.

18. And have you been instructed in the breadth of the [whole earth] under heaven? Tell me now, what is the extent of it?

19. వెలుగు నివసించు చోటునకు పోవు మార్గమేది?చీకటి అనుదాని ఉనికిపట్టు ఏది?

19. And in what land does the light dwell? And where is the place of darkness?

20. దాని సరిహద్దునకు నీవు వెలుగును కొనిపోవుదువా? దాని గృహమునకు పోవు త్రోవలను నీవెరుగుదువా?ఇదంతయు నీకు తెలిసియున్నది గదా.

20. If you could bring Me to their uttermost boundaries, and if also you know their paths;

21. నీవు బహు వృద్ధుడవు నీవు అప్పటికి పుట్టియుంటివి.

21. I know then that you were born at that time, and the number of your years is great.

22. నీవు హిమముయొక్క నిధులలోనికి చొచ్చితివా?

22. But have you gone to the treasures of snow? And have you seen the treasures of hail?

23. ఆపత్కాలముకొరకును యుద్ధముకొరకును యుద్ధ దినముకొరకును నేను దాచియుంచిన వడగండ్ల నిధులను నీవు చూచితివా?

23. And is there a store of them, for you against the time of your enemies, for the day of wars and battle?

24. వెలుగు విభాగింపబడు చోటికి మార్గమేది? తూర్పు గాలి యెక్కడనుండి వచ్చి భూమిమీద నఖ ముఖములను వ్యాపించును?

24. And from where proceeds the frost? Or where is the south wind dispersed over the whole world under heaven?

25. నిర్మానుష్య ప్రదేశముమీదను జనులులేని యెడారిలోను వర్షము కురిపించుటకును

25. And who prepared a course for the violent rain, and a way for the thunders;

26. పాడైన యెడారిని తృప్తిపరచుటకునులేత గడ్డి మొలిపించుటకును వరద నీటికి కాలువలను

26. to rain upon the land where there is no man, the wilderness, where there is not a man in it; so as to feed the untrodden and uninhabited land,

27. ఉరుములోని మెరుపునకు మార్గమును నిర్ణయించువాడెవడు?

27. and cause it to send forth a crop of green herbs?

28. వర్షమునకు తండ్రి యున్నాడా? మంచు బిందువులను పుట్టించువాడెవడు?

28. Who is the rain's father? And who has generated the drops of dew?

29. మంచుగడ్డ యెవని గర్భములోనుండి వచ్చును? ఆకాశమునుండి దిగు మంచును ఎవడు పుట్టించును?

29. And out of whose womb comes the ice? And who has produced the frost in the sky,

30. జలములు రాతివలె గడ్డకట్టును అగాధజలముల ముఖము గట్టిపరచబడును.

30. which descends like flowing water? Who has terrified the face of the ungodly?

31. కృత్తిక నక్షత్రములను నీవు బంధింపగలవా? మృగశీర్షకు కట్లను విప్పగలవా?

31. And do you understand the band of Pleiades, and have you opened the barrier of Orion?

32. వాటి వాటి కాలములలో నక్షత్రరాసులను వచ్చు నట్లు చేయగలవా? సప్తర్షి నక్షత్రములను వాటి ఉపనక్షత్రములను నీవు నడిపింపగలవా?

32. Or will you reveal Mazuroth in his season, and the evening star with his rays? Will you guide them?

33. ఆకాశమండలపు కట్టడలను నీవెరుగుదువా? దానికి భూమిమీదగల ప్రభుత్వమును నీవు స్థాపింప గలవా?

33. Do you know the changes of heaven, or the events which take place together under heaven?

34. జలరాసులు నిన్ను కప్పునట్లు మేఘములకు నీవు ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగలవా?

34. And will you call a cloud by your voice, and will it obey you with a violent shower of much rain?

35. మెరుపులు బయలువెళ్లి చిత్తము ఉన్నామని నీతో చెప్పునట్లు నీవు వాటిని బయటికి రప్పింపగలవా?

35. And will you send lightnings, and they shall go? And shall they say to you, What is [your pleasure]?

36. అంతరింద్రియములలో జ్ఞానముంచిన వాడెవడు? హృదయమునకు తెలివి నిచ్చినవాడెవడు?

36. And who has given to women skill in weaving, or knowledge of embroidery?

37. జ్ఞానముచేత మేఘములను వివరింపగలవాడెవడు?

37. And who is he that numbers the clouds in wisdom, and has bowed the heaven down to the earth?

38. ధూళి బురదయై పారునట్లును మంటిపెడ్డలు ఒకదానికొకటి అంటుకొనునట్లును ఆకాశపు కలశములలోని వర్షమును కుమ్మరించువాడెవడు?

38. For it is spread out as dusty earth, and I have cemented it as one hewn stone to another.

39. ఆడుసింహము నిమిత్తము నీవు ఎరను వేటాడెదవా?

39. And will you hunt a prey for the lions? And satisfy the desires of the serpents?

40. సింహపుపిల్లలు తమ తమ గుహలలో పండుకొను నప్పుడు తమ గుహలలో పొంచి యుండునప్పుడు నీవు వాటి ఆకలి తీర్చెదవా?

40. For they fear in their lairs, crouching, and lying in wait in the woods.

41. తిండిలేక తిరుగులాడుచు కాకి పిల్లలు దేవునికి మొఱ్ఱపెట్టునప్పుడు కాకికి ఆహారము సిద్ధపరచువాడెవడు?

41. And who has prepared food for the raven? For its young ones wander and cry to the Lord, in search of food.
