2. జ్ఞానములేని మాటలు చెప్పిఆలోచనను చెరుపుచున్న వీడెవడు?

3. పౌరుషము తెచ్చుకొని నీ నడుము బిగించుకొనుము నేను నీకు ప్రశ్న వేయుదును నీవు దానిని నాకు తెలియజెప్పుము.

3. Be strong like a man! I will ask you questions, and you must answer me.

4. నేను భూమికి పునాదులు వేసినప్పుడు నీవెక్కడ నుంటివి?నీకు వివేకము కలిగియున్నయెడల చెప్పుము.

4. Where were you when I made the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand.

5. నీకు తెలిసినయెడల దానికి పరిమాణమును నియమించిన వాడెవడో చెప్పుము.

5. Who marked off how big it should be? Surely you know! Who stretched a ruler across it?

6. దానిమీద పరిమాణపు కొల వేసినవాడెవడో చెప్పుము. దాని స్తంభముల పాదులు దేనితో కట్టబడినవో చెప్పుము.

6. What were the earth's foundations set on, or who put its cornerstone in place

7. ఉదయనక్షత్రములు ఏకముగా కూడి పాడినప్పుడు దేవదూతలందరును ఆనందించి జయధ్వనులు చేసి నప్పుడు దాని మూలరాతిని వేసినవాడెవడు?

7. while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted with joy?

8. సముద్రము దాని గర్భమునుండి పొర్లి రాగా తలుపులచేత దానిని మూసినవాడెవడు?

8. 'Who shut the doors to keep the sea in when it broke through and was born,

9. నేను మేఘమును దానికి వస్త్రముగాను గాఢాంధకారమును దానికి పొత్తిగుడ్డగాను వేసి నప్పుడు నీవుంటివా?

9. when I made the clouds like a coat for the sea and wrapped it in dark clouds,

10. దానికి సరిహద్దు నియమించి దానికి అడ్డగడియలను తలుపులను పెట్టించినప్పుడు

10. when I put limits on the sea and put its doors and bars in place,

11. నీవు ఇంతవరకే గాని మరి దగ్గరకు రాకూడదనియు ఇక్కడనే నీ తరంగముల పొంగు అణపబడుననియు నేను చెప్పినప్పుడు నీవుంటివా?

11. when I said to the sea, 'You may come this far, but no farther; this is where your proud waves must stop'?

12. అరుణోదయము భూమి దిగంతములవరకు వ్యాపించు నట్లును

12. 'Have you ever ordered the morning to begin, or shown the dawn where its place was

13. అది దుష్టులను తనలోనుండకుండ దులిపివేయునట్లును నీ వెప్పుడైన ఉదయమును కలుగజేసితివా? అరుణోదయమునకు దాని స్థలమును తెలిపితివా?

13. in order to take hold of the earth by its edges and shake evil people out of it?

14. ముద్రవలన మంటికి రూపము కలుగునట్లు అది పుట్టగా భూముఖము మార్పునొందును విచిత్రమైన పనిగల వస్త్రమువలె సమస్తమును కనబడును.

14. At dawn the earth changes like clay being pressed by a seal; the hills and valleys stand out like folds in a coat.

15. దుష్టుల వెలుగు వారియొద్దనుండి తీసివేయబడును వారెత్తిన బాహువు విరుగగొట్టబడును.

15. Light is not given to evil people; their arm is raised to do harm, but it is broken.

16. సముద్రపు ఊటలలోనికి నీవు చొచ్చితివా?మహాసముద్రము అడుగున నీవు సంచరించితివా?

16. 'Have you ever gone to where the sea begins or walked in the valleys under the sea?

17. మరణద్వారములు నీకు తెరవబడెనా? మరణాంధకార ద్వారములను నీవు చూచితివా?

17. Have the gates of death been opened to you? Have you seen the gates of the deep darkness?

18. భూమి వైశాల్యత ఎంతో నీవు గ్రహించితివా? నీకేమైన తెలిసివయెడల చెప్పుము.

18. Do you understand how wide the earth is? Tell me, if you know all these things.

19. వెలుగు నివసించు చోటునకు పోవు మార్గమేది?చీకటి అనుదాని ఉనికిపట్టు ఏది?

19. 'What is the path to light's home, and where does darkness live?

20. దాని సరిహద్దునకు నీవు వెలుగును కొనిపోవుదువా? దాని గృహమునకు పోవు త్రోవలను నీవెరుగుదువా?ఇదంతయు నీకు తెలిసియున్నది గదా.

20. Can you take them to their places? Do you know the way to their homes?

21. నీవు బహు వృద్ధుడవు నీవు అప్పటికి పుట్టియుంటివి.

21. Surely you know, if you were already born when all this happened! Have you lived that many years?

22. నీవు హిమముయొక్క నిధులలోనికి చొచ్చితివా?

22. 'Have you ever gone into the storehouse of the snow or seen the storehouses for hail,

23. ఆపత్కాలముకొరకును యుద్ధముకొరకును యుద్ధ దినముకొరకును నేను దాచియుంచిన వడగండ్ల నిధులను నీవు చూచితివా?

23. which I save for times of trouble, for days of war and battle?

24. వెలుగు విభాగింపబడు చోటికి మార్గమేది? తూర్పు గాలి యెక్కడనుండి వచ్చి భూమిమీద నఖ ముఖములను వ్యాపించును?

24. Where is the place from which light comes? Where is the place from which the east winds blow over the earth?

25. నిర్మానుష్య ప్రదేశముమీదను జనులులేని యెడారిలోను వర్షము కురిపించుటకును

25. Who cuts a waterway for the heavy rains and sets a path for the thunderstorm?

26. పాడైన యెడారిని తృప్తిపరచుటకునులేత గడ్డి మొలిపించుటకును వరద నీటికి కాలువలను

26. Who waters the land where no one lives, the desert that has no one in it?

27. ఉరుములోని మెరుపునకు మార్గమును నిర్ణయించువాడెవడు?

27. Who sends rain to satisfy the empty land so the grass begins to grow?

28. వర్షమునకు తండ్రి యున్నాడా? మంచు బిందువులను పుట్టించువాడెవడు?

28. Does the rain have a father? Who is father to the drops of dew?

29. మంచుగడ్డ యెవని గర్భములోనుండి వచ్చును? ఆకాశమునుండి దిగు మంచును ఎవడు పుట్టించును?

29. Who is the mother of the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the sky

30. జలములు రాతివలె గడ్డకట్టును అగాధజలముల ముఖము గట్టిపరచబడును.

30. when the water becomes hard as stone, and even the surface of the ocean is frozen?

31. కృత్తిక నక్షత్రములను నీవు బంధింపగలవా? మృగశీర్షకు కట్లను విప్పగలవా?

31. 'Can you tie up the stars of the Pleiades or loosen the ropes of the stars in Orion?

32. వాటి వాటి కాలములలో నక్షత్రరాసులను వచ్చు నట్లు చేయగలవా? సప్తర్షి నక్షత్రములను వాటి ఉపనక్షత్రములను నీవు నడిపింపగలవా?

32. Can you bring out the stars on time or lead out the stars of the Bear with its cubs?

33. ఆకాశమండలపు కట్టడలను నీవెరుగుదువా? దానికి భూమిమీదగల ప్రభుత్వమును నీవు స్థాపింప గలవా?

33. Do you know the laws of the sky and understand their rule over the earth?

34. జలరాసులు నిన్ను కప్పునట్లు మేఘములకు నీవు ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగలవా?

34. 'Can you shout an order to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water?

35. మెరుపులు బయలువెళ్లి చిత్తము ఉన్నామని నీతో చెప్పునట్లు నీవు వాటిని బయటికి రప్పింపగలవా?

35. Can you send lightning bolts on their way? Do they come to you and say, 'Here we are'?

36. అంతరింద్రియములలో జ్ఞానముంచిన వాడెవడు? హృదయమునకు తెలివి నిచ్చినవాడెవడు?

36. Who put wisdom inside the mind or understanding in the heart?

37. జ్ఞానముచేత మేఘములను వివరింపగలవాడెవడు?

37. Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Who can pour water from the jars of the sky

38. ధూళి బురదయై పారునట్లును మంటిపెడ్డలు ఒకదానికొకటి అంటుకొనునట్లును ఆకాశపు కలశములలోని వర్షమును కుమ్మరించువాడెవడు?

38. when the dust becomes hard and the clumps of dirt stick together?

39. ఆడుసింహము నిమిత్తము నీవు ఎరను వేటాడెదవా?

39. 'Do you hunt food for the female lion to satisfy the hunger of the young lions

40. సింహపుపిల్లలు తమ తమ గుహలలో పండుకొను నప్పుడు తమ గుహలలో పొంచి యుండునప్పుడు నీవు వాటి ఆకలి తీర్చెదవా?

40. while they lie in their dens or hide in the bushes waiting to attack?

41. తిండిలేక తిరుగులాడుచు కాకి పిల్లలు దేవునికి మొఱ్ఱపెట్టునప్పుడు కాకికి ఆహారము సిద్ధపరచువాడెవడు?

41. Who gives food to the birds when their young cry out to God and wander about without food?
