1. జనుల అధికారులు యెరూషలేములో నివాసము చేసిరి. మిగిలిన జనులు పరిశుద్ధపట్టణమగు యెరూష లేమునందు పదిమందిలో ఒకడు నివసించునట్లును, మిగిలిన తొమ్మండుగురు వేరు పట్టణములలో నివసించునట్లును చీట్లు వేసిరి.
మత్తయి 4:5

1. And the rulers of the people lived at Jerusalem. And the rest of the people cast lots, to bring one of every ten to live in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in other cities.

2. యెరూషలేములో నివసించుటకు సంతోషముగా ఒప్పు కొనినవారిని జనులు దీవించిరి.

2. And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to live at Jerusalem.

3. యెరూష లేములో నివాసము చేసిన రాజ్యపు ప్రధానులు వీరే, యూదాపట్టణములలో ఎవరి స్వాస్థ్యములో వారు నివ సించుచుండిరి. వారెవరనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును యాజ కులును లేవీయులును నెతీనీయులును సొలొమోనుయొక్క దాసుల వంశస్థులును నివాసము చేసిరి.

3. And these are the rulers of the province who lived in Jerusalem. But in the cities of Judah everyone lived in his possession in their cities: Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the temple-slaves, and the sons of Solomon's servants.

4. మరియు యెరూష లేములో యూదులలో కొందరును బెన్యామీనీయులలో కొందరును నివసించిరి. యూదులలో ఎవరనగా, జెకర్యాకు పుట్టిన ఉజ్జియా కుమారుడైన అతాయా, యితడు షెఫట్యకు పుట్టిన అమర్యా కుమారుడు, వీడు షెఫట్యకు పుట్టిన పెరెసు వంశస్థుడగు మహలలేలు కుమారుడు.

4. And at Jerusalem lived certain of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin. From the sons of Judah: Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez,

6. యెరూషలేములో నివాసము చేసిన పెరెసు వంశస్థులందరును బలవంతులైన నాలుగువందల అరువది ఎనమండుగురు.

6. All the sons of Perez who lived in Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight mighty men.

7. బెన్యామీనీయులలో ఎవరనగా యోవేదు పెదాయా కోలాయా మయశేయా ఈతీయేలు యెషయా అను పితరుల వరుసలో మెషుల్లాము కుమారుడైన సల్లు.

7. And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah;

8. అతని తరువాత గబ్బయి సల్లయి; వీరందరును తొమ్మిదివందల ఇరువది యెనమండుగురు;

8. and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight.

9. జిఖ్రీ కుమారుడైన యోవేలు వారికి పెద్దగా ఉండెను. సెనూయా కుమారుడైన యూదా పట్టణముమీద రెండవ అధికారియై యుండెను.

9. And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer. And Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.

10. యాజకులలో ఎవరనగా యోయారీబు కుమారుడైన యెదా యాయు యాకీనును

10. From the priests were Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin,

11. శెరాయా దేవుని మందిరమునకు అధిపతియై యుండెను. ఇతడు మషుల్లాము సాదోకు మెరాయోతు అహీటూబులను పితరుల వరుసలో హిల్కీ యాకు పుట్టెను.

11. Seraiah, the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God.

12. And their brothers who did the work of the house were eight hundred and twenty-two. And Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,

13. and his brothers, chief of the fathers, two hundred and forty-two. And Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,

14. and their brothers, mighty men of power, were a hundred and twenty-eight. And their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.

16. లేవీయు లలో ప్రధానులైన వారిలో షబ్బెతైయును యోజా బాదును దేవుని మందిర బాహ్య విషయములో పై విచారణచేయు అధికారము పొందిరి.

16. And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, were over the outward business of the house of God.

17. ఆసాపు కుమారుడైన జబ్దికి పుట్టిన మీకా కుమారుడైన మత్తన్యా ప్రార్థన స్తోత్రముల విషయములో ప్రధానుడు; తన సహోదరులలో బక్బుక్యాయును యెదూతూను కుమారుడైన గాలాలునకు పుట్టిన షమ్మూయ కుమారుడైన అబ్దాయును ఈ విషయములో అతని చేతిక్రింది వారు

17. And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the leader to begin the thanksgiving in prayer. And Bakbukiah was second among his brothers, and then Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

18. పరిశుద్ధ పట్టణములో ఉన్న లేవీయులందరు రెండువందల ఎనుబది నలుగురు.

18. All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred and eighty-four.

19. ద్వారపాలకులైన అక్కూబు టల్మోను గుమ్మములు కాయువారును నూట డెబ్బది యిద్దరు.

19. And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers who kept the gates, were a hundred and seventy-two.

20. ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో శేషించిన యాజకులు లేవీయులు మొదలైన వారు యూదా పట్టణములన్నిటిలో ఎవరి స్వాస్థ్యములో వారు ఉండిరి.

20. And the rest of Israel, of the priests and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, each one in his inheritance.

21. నెతీనీయులు ఓపెలులో నివసించిరి. జీహాయు గిష్పాయును నెతీనీయులకు ప్రధానులు.

21. But the temple-slaves lived in Ophel; and Ziha and Gispa were over the temple-slaves.

22. యెరూషలేములో ఉన్న లేవీయులకు మీకాకు పుట్టిన మత్తన్యా కుమారుడైన హషబ్యా కనిన బానీ కుమారుడైన ఉజ్జీ ప్రధానుడు; ఆసాపు కుమారులలో గాయకులు దేవుని మందిరముయొక్క పనిమీద అధికారులు

22. And the overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.

23. For it was the king's commandment concerning them that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.

24. And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

25. వాటి పొలములలోనున్న పల్లెలు చూడగా యూదా వంశస్థులలో కొందరు కిర్యతర్బాలోను దానికి సంబంధించిన పల్లెలలోను దీబోనులోను దానికి సంబంధించిన పల్లెలలోను యెకబ్సెయేలులోను దానికి సంబంధించిన పల్లెలలోను

25. And for the villages, with their fields, some of the sons of Judah lived at Kirjath-arba, and in its villages, and at Dibon, and in its villages, and at Jekabzeel, and its villages,

26. యేషూవలోను మెలాదాలోను బేత్పెలెతులోను.

26. and at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beth-phelet,

27. హజర్షువలులోను బెయేర్షెబాలోను దానికి సంబంధించిన పల్లెలలోను

27. and at Hazar-shual, and at Beer-sheba, and in its villages,

28. సిక్లగులోను మెకోనాలోను దానికి సంబంధించిన పల్లెలలోను

28. and at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in its villages,

29. ఏన్రిమ్మోనులోనుజొర్యాలోను యర్మూతులోను

29. and at En-rimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,

30. Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, at Lachish, and the fields of it, at Azekah, and in its villages. And they lived from Beer-sheba to the valley of Hinnom.

31. And the sons of Benjamin from Geba lived at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and their villages,

32. అనాతోతులోను నోబులోను అనన్యాలోను

32. at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33. హాసోరులోను రామాలోను గిత్తయీములోను

33. Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34. హాదీదులోను జెబోయిములోను నెబల్లాటులోను

34. Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

35. లోదులోను పనివారి లోయ అను ఓనోలోను నివసించిరి.

35. Lod, and Ono, the Valley of Craftsmen.

36. మరియు లేవీయుల సంబంధ మైనవారిలో యూదా వంశస్థులలోనివారు బెన్యామీనీ యులమధ్య భాగములు పొందిరి.

36. And divisions of the Levites were in Judah and for Benjamin.
