1. జనుల అధికారులు యెరూషలేములో నివాసము చేసిరి. మిగిలిన జనులు పరిశుద్ధపట్టణమగు యెరూష లేమునందు పదిమందిలో ఒకడు నివసించునట్లును, మిగిలిన తొమ్మండుగురు వేరు పట్టణములలో నివసించునట్లును చీట్లు వేసిరి.
మత్తయి 4:5

1. The princes of the people lived in Yerushalayim: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Yerushalayim the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.

2. యెరూషలేములో నివసించుటకు సంతోషముగా ఒప్పు కొనినవారిని జనులు దీవించిరి.

2. The people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell in Yerushalayim.

3. యెరూష లేములో నివాసము చేసిన రాజ్యపు ప్రధానులు వీరే, యూదాపట్టణములలో ఎవరి స్వాస్థ్యములో వారు నివ సించుచుండిరి. వారెవరనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును యాజ కులును లేవీయులును నెతీనీయులును సొలొమోనుయొక్క దాసుల వంశస్థులును నివాసము చేసిరి.

3. Now these are the chiefs of the province who lived in Yerushalayim: but in the cities of Yehudah lived everyone in his possession in their cities, to wit, Yisra'el, the Kohanim, and the Levites, and the temple servants, and the children of Shlomo's servants.

4. In Yerushalayim lived certain of the children of Yehudah, and of the children of Binyamin. Of the children of Yehudah: `Atayah the son of `Uzziyah, the son of Zekharyah, the son of Amaryah, the son of Shefatyah, the son of Mahalal'el, of the children of Peretz;

6. All the sons of Peretz who lived in Yerushalayim were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.

7. బెన్యామీనీయులలో ఎవరనగా యోవేదు పెదాయా కోలాయా మయశేయా ఈతీయేలు యెషయా అను పితరుల వరుసలో మెషుల్లాము కుమారుడైన సల్లు.

7. These are the sons of Binyamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Yo`ed, the son of Pedayahu, the son of Kolayah, the son of Ma`aseyah, the son of 'Iti'el, the son of Yesha`yah.

8. అతని తరువాత గబ్బయి సల్లయి; వీరందరును తొమ్మిదివందల ఇరువది యెనమండుగురు;

8. After him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty-eight.

9. జిఖ్రీ కుమారుడైన యోవేలు వారికి పెద్దగా ఉండెను. సెనూయా కుమారుడైన యూదా పట్టణముమీద రెండవ అధికారియై యుండెను.

9. Yo'el the son of Zikhri was their overseer; and Yehudah the son of Senu'ah was second over the city.

10. యాజకులలో ఎవరనగా యోయారీబు కుమారుడైన యెదా యాయు యాకీనును

10. Of the Kohanim: Yedayah the son of Yoiariv, Yakhin,

11. శెరాయా దేవుని మందిరమునకు అధిపతియై యుండెను. ఇతడు మషుల్లాము సాదోకు మెరాయోతు అహీటూబులను పితరుల వరుసలో హిల్కీ యాకు పుట్టెను.

11. Serayah the son of Hilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Tzadok, the son of Merayot, the son of Achituv, the ruler of the house of God,

12. ఇంటిపని చేసినవారి సహోదరులు ఎనిమిదివందల ఇరువది యిద్దరు. మరియు పితరులైన మల్కీయా పషూరు జెకర్యా అవీ్జు పెలల్యాల వరుసలో యెరోహామునకు పుట్టిన అదాయా.

12. and their brothers who did the work of the house, eight hundred twenty-two; and `Adayah the son of Yerocham, the son of Pelalyah, the son of Amtzi, the son of Zekharyah, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah,

16. and Shabbetai and Yozavad, of the chiefs of the Levites, who had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God;

17. ఆసాపు కుమారుడైన జబ్దికి పుట్టిన మీకా కుమారుడైన మత్తన్యా ప్రార్థన స్తోత్రముల విషయములో ప్రధానుడు; తన సహోదరులలో బక్బుక్యాయును యెదూతూను కుమారుడైన గాలాలునకు పుట్టిన షమ్మూయ కుమారుడైన అబ్దాయును ఈ విషయములో అతని చేతిక్రింది వారు

17. and Mattanyah the son of Mikha, the son of Zavdi, the son of Asaf, who was the chief to begin the thanksgiving in prayer, and Bakbukyah, the second among his brothers; and `Avda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Yedutun.

18. All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.

19. ద్వారపాలకులైన అక్కూబు టల్మోను గుమ్మములు కాయువారును నూట డెబ్బది యిద్దరు.

19. Moreover the porters, `Akkuv, Talmon, and their brothers, who kept watch at the gates, were one hundred seventy-two.

20. ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో శేషించిన యాజకులు లేవీయులు మొదలైన వారు యూదా పట్టణములన్నిటిలో ఎవరి స్వాస్థ్యములో వారు ఉండిరి.

20. The residue of Yisra'el, of the Kohanim, the Levites, were in all the cities of Yehudah, everyone in his inheritance.

21. నెతీనీయులు ఓపెలులో నివసించిరి. జీహాయు గిష్పాయును నెతీనీయులకు ప్రధానులు.

21. But the temple servants lived in `Ofel: and Tzicha and Gishpa were over the temple servants.

22. యెరూషలేములో ఉన్న లేవీయులకు మీకాకు పుట్టిన మత్తన్యా కుమారుడైన హషబ్యా కనిన బానీ కుమారుడైన ఉజ్జీ ప్రధానుడు; ఆసాపు కుమారులలో గాయకులు దేవుని మందిరముయొక్క పనిమీద అధికారులు

22. The overseer also of the Levites at Yerushalayim was `Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashavyah, the son of Mattanyah, the son of Mikha, of the sons of Asaf, the singers, over the business of the house of God.

23. For there was a mitzvah from the king concerning them, and a settled provision for the singers, as every day required.

25. As for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Yehudah lived in Kiryat-Arba and the towns of it, and in Divon and the towns of it, and in Yekavtze'el and the villages of it,

26. యేషూవలోను మెలాదాలోను బేత్పెలెతులోను.

26. and in Yeshua, and in Moladah, and Beit-Pelet,

27. హజర్షువలులోను బెయేర్షెబాలోను దానికి సంబంధించిన పల్లెలలోను

27. and in Hatzar-Shu`al, and in Be'er-Sheva and the towns of it,

28. సిక్లగులోను మెకోనాలోను దానికి సంబంధించిన పల్లెలలోను

28. and in Tziklag, and in Mekhonah and in the towns of it,

29. ఏన్రిమ్మోనులోనుజొర్యాలోను యర్మూతులోను

29. and in En-rimmon, and in Tzor`ah, and in Yarmut,

30. Zanoach, `Adullam, and their villages, Lakhish and the fields of it, `Azeka and the towns of it. So they encamped from Be'er-Sheva to the valley of Hinnom.

31. The children of Binyamin also lived from Geva onward, at Mikhmash and Ayah, and at Beit-El and the towns of it,

32. at `Anatot, Nov, `Ananyah,

33. హాసోరులోను రామాలోను గిత్తయీములోను

33. Hatzor, Ramah, Gittayim,

34. హాదీదులోను జెబోయిములోను నెబల్లాటులోను

34. Hadid, Tzevo`im, Nevalat,

35. లోదులోను పనివారి లోయ అను ఓనోలోను నివసించిరి.

35. Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

36. మరియు లేవీయుల సంబంధ మైనవారిలో యూదా వంశస్థులలోనివారు బెన్యామీనీ యులమధ్య భాగములు పొందిరి.

36. Of the Levites, certain divisions in Yehudah were joined to Binyamin.
