1. సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరమును తన నగరును కట్టించిన యిరువది సంవత్సరముల కాలము తీరిన తరువాత

1. And after twentie yeere when Salomon had built the house of the Lord, and his owne house,

2. హీరాము తనకిచ్చిన పట్టణములను సొలొమోను కట్టించి వాటిలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను కాపురముంచెను.

2. Then Salomon built the cities that Huram gaue to Salomon, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.

3. తరువాత సొలొమోను హమాతుసొబా అను స్థలమునకు పోయి దానిని పట్టుకొనెను.

3. And Salomon went to Hamath Zobah, and ouercame it.

4. మరియు అరణ్య మందుండు తద్మోరుకును హమాతు దేశమందు ఖజానా ఉంచు పట్టణములన్నిటికిని ప్రాకారములను కట్టించెను.

4. And he built Tadmor in the wildernesse, and repayred all the cities of store which hee built in Hamath.

5. ఇదియు గాక అతడు ఎగువ బేత్‌హోరోను దిగువ బేత్‌హోరోను గవునులు అడ్డగడలుగల ప్రాకారపట్టణములుగా కట్టించెను.

5. And he built Beth-horon the vpper, and Beth-horon the nether, cities defensed with walles, gates and barres:

6. బయలతును, ఖజానా ఉంచు పట్టణములన్నిటిని, రథములుంచు పట్టణములన్నిటిని, గుఱ్ఱపు రౌతులుండు పట్టణములన్నిటిని కట్టించెను. మరియు యెరూషలేమునందును లెబానోనునందును తాను ఏలు దేశములన్నిటియందును ప్రాకారపురములుగా కట్టించవలెనని తానుద్దేశించిన పట్టణములన్నిటిని సొలొమోను కట్టించెను.

6. Also Baalath, and al the cities of store that Salomon had, and all the charet cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and euery pleasant place that Salomon had a minde to builde in Ierusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the lande of his dominion.

7. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంబంధులు కాని హిత్తీయులలో నుండియు అమోరీయులలోనుండియు, పెరిజ్జీయులలో నుండియు, హివ్వీయులలోనుండియు, యెబూసీయులలో నుండియు, శేషించియున్న సకల జనులను

7. And all the people that were left to ye Hittites, and ye Amorites, and Perizzites, and the Hiuuites, and the Iebusites, which were not of Israel,

8. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులు నాశనముచేయక వదలివేసిన ఆ యా జనుల సంతతి వారిని సొలొమోను నేటివరకును తనకు వెట్టిపనులు చేయువారినిగా చేసికొనియుండెను.

8. But of their children which were left after them in the lande, whome the children of Israel had not consumed, euen them did Salomon make tributaries vntill this day.

9. అయితే ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో ఒకనినైనను సొలొమోను తన పనిచేయుటకు దాసునిగా నియమింపలేదు; వారిని యోధులుగాను తన అధిపతులలో ప్రధానులుగాను రథములకును గుఱ్ఱపు రౌతులకును అధిపతులుగాను నియమించెను.

9. But of the children of Israel did Salomon make no seruantes for his worke: for they were men of warre, and his chiefe princes, and the captaines of his charets and of his horsemen.

10. వీరిలో శ్రేష్ఠులైన రెండువందల ఏబదిమంది రాజైన సొలొమోను క్రింద అధిపతులై ప్రజలమీద అధికారులై యుండిరి.

10. So these were the chiefe of the officers which Salomon had, euen two hundreth and fiftie that bare rule ouer the people.

11. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల రాజైన దావీదు నగరునందు నా భార్య నివాసముచేయవలదు, యెహోవా మందసమున్న స్థలములు ప్రతిష్ఠితములు అని చెప్పి, సొలొమోను ఫరోకుమార్తెను దావీదు పట్టణమునుండి తాను ఆమెకొరకు కట్టించిన నగరునకు రప్పించెను.

11. Then Salomon brought vp the daughter of Pharaoh out of the citie of Dauid, into the house that he had built for her: for he saide, My wife shall not dwel in the house of Dauid King of Israel: for it is holy, because that the Arke of the Lord came vnto it.

12. అది మొదలుకొని సొలొమోను తాను మంటపము ఎదుట కట్టించిన యెహోవా బలిపీఠముమీద దహనబలులు అర్పించుచు వచ్చెను. అతడు అనుదిన నిర్ణయముచొప్పున

12. Then Salomon offered burnt offrings vnto the Lord, on the altar of the Lord, which he had built before the porche,

13. మోషే యిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞనుబట్టి విశ్రాంతి దినములయందును, అమావాస్యలయందును, నియామక కాలములయందును, సంవత్సరమునకు ముమ్మారుజరుగు పండుగలయందును, అనగా పులియని రొట్టెల పండుగయందును వారముల పండుగయందును పర్ణశాలల పండుగయందును యెహోవాకు దహనబలులు అర్పించుచు వచ్చెను.

13. To offer according to the commandement of Moses euery day, in the Sabbaths, and in the newe moones, and in the solemne feastes, three times in the yeere, that is, in the feast of the Vnleauened bread, and in the feast of the Weekes, and in the feast of the Tabernacles.

14. అతడు తన తండ్రియైన దావీదు చేసిన నిర్ణయమునుబట్టి వారి వారి సేవాధర్మములను జరుపుకొనుటకై వారి వారి వంతుల చొప్పున యాజకులను వారి సేవకును, కట్టడనుబట్టి అను దినమున యాజకుల సముఖమున స్తుతిచేయుటకును, ఉప చారకులుగా ఉండుటకును, వంతులచొప్పున లేవీయులను, ద్వారములన్నిటి దగ్గర కావలి యుండుటకై వారి వారి వంతులచొప్పున ద్వారపాలకులను నియమించెను; దైవ జనుడైన దావీదు ఆలాగుననే యాజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియుండెను.

14. And he set the courses of the Priestes to their offices, according to the order of Dauid his father, and the Leuites in their watches, for to praise and minister before the Priestes euery day, and the porters by their courses, at euery gate: for so was the commandement of Dauid the man of God.

15. ఏ విషయమును గూర్చియేగాని బొక్కసములను గూర్చియే గాని రాజు యాజకులకును లేవీయులకును చేసియున్న నిర్ణ యమును బట్టి వారు సమస్తమును జరుపుచువచ్చిరి

15. And they declined not from the commandement of the King, concerning the Priests and the Leuites, touching al things, and touching the treasures.

16. యెహోవా మందిరమునకు పునాదివేసిన దినము మొదలుకొని అది సంపూర్ణమగువరకు సొలొమోను పని యంతయు చేయించెను; అప్పుడు యెహోవా మందిరము సమాప్త మాయెను.

16. Nowe Salomon had made prouision for all the worke, from the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord, vntill it was finished: so the house of the Lord was perfite.

17. సొలొమోను ఎదోము దేశముయొక్క సముద్రపు దరినున్న ఎసోన్గెబెరునకును ఏలతునకును పోగా

17. Then went Salomon to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth by the sea side in the lande of Edom.

18. హీరాము తన పనివారిద్వారా ఓడలను ఓడ నడుపుటయందు యుక్తి గల పనివారిని పంపెను. వీరు సొలొమోను పనివారితో కూడ ఓఫీరునకు పోయి అక్కడనుండి తొమ్మిదివందల మణుగుల బంగారమును ఎక్కించుకొని రాజైన సొలొమోను నొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

18. And Huram sent him by the handes of his seruants, shippes, and seruants that had knowledge of the sea: and they went with the seruants of Salomon to Ophir, and brought thence foure hundreth and fiftie talents of golde, and brought them to King Salomon.
