1. ఇదంతయు సమాప్తమైన తరువాత అక్కడనున్న ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును యూదా పట్టణములకు పోయి, యూదాదేశమంతటను, బెన్యామీను ఎఫ్రాయిము మనష్షే దేశముల యందంతటను ఉన్న విగ్రహములను నిర్మూలముచేసి, దేవతాస్తంభములను ముక్కలుగా నరికి, ఉన్నతస్థలములను బలిపీఠములను పడగొట్టిరి; తరువాత ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును తమ తమ పట్టణములలోనున్న తమ తమ స్వాస్థ్యములకు తిరిగి వెళ్లిరి

1. After all this was over, all Isra'el who were there went out to the cities of Y'hudah and smashed the standing-stones, chopped down the sacred poles, and broke down the high places and altars throughout Y'hudah, Binyamin, Efrayim and M'nasheh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the people of Isra'el returned to their own cities, each to his own possession.

2. అంతట హిజ్కియా యెవరి సేవాధర్మము వారు జరుపుకొనునట్లుగా యాజకులను వరుసల ప్రకారముగాను, లేవీయులను వారి వారి వరుసల ప్రకారముగాను నియమించెను; దహనబలులను సమాధాన బలులను అర్పించుటకును, సేవను జరిగించుటకును కృతజ్ఞతా స్తుతులు చెల్లించుటకును, యెహోవా పాళెపు ద్వారముల యొద్దస్తుతులు చేయుటకును యాజకులను లేవీయులను నియ మించెను.

2. Hizkiyahu re-established the divisions of the [cohanim] and [L'vi'im] in accordance with the way the divisions had been before, with each man assigned his task, both the [cohanim] and the [L'vi'im], for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to serve, to give thanks and to praise at the gates of ADONAI's camp.

3. మరియు యెహోవాధర్మశాస్త్రమునందు వ్రాయ బడియున్న విధినిబట్టి జరుగు ఉదయాస్తమయముల దహన బలులను విశ్రాంతిదినములకును అమావాస్యలకును నియా మకకాలములకును ఏర్పడియున్న దహనబలులను అర్పించుటకై తనకు కలిగిన ఆస్తిలోనుండి రాజు ఒక భాగమును ఏర్పాటుచేసెను.

3. He determined a portion of the king's property to be given for the burnt offerings, that is, for the morning and evening burnt offerings and for burnt offerings on [Shabbat]s, [Rosh-Hodesh] and the designated times, as prescribed by the [Torah] of ADONAI.

4. మరియు యెహోవా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును బట్టి యాజకులును లేవీయులును ధైర్యము వహించి తమ పని జరుపుకొనునట్లు ఎవరి భాగములను వారికి ఇయ్య వలసినదని యెరూషలేములో కాపురమున్న జనులకు అతడు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

4. He also ordered the people living in Yerushalayim to contribute the portion meant for the [cohanim] and [L'vi'im], so that they would be submitting themselves to the [Torah] of ADONAI.

5. ఆ యాజ్ఞ వెల్లడియగుటతోడనే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రథమఫలములైన ధాన్య ద్రాక్షారసములను నూనెను తేనెను సస్యఫలములను విస్తారముగా తీసికొని వచ్చిరి. సమస్తమైన వాటిలోనుండియు పదియవ వంతులను విస్తారముగా తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

5. As soon as the order was issued, the people of Isra'el gave in abundance from the firstfruits of the grain, wine, olive oil, honey and other agricultural produce; they brought the required tenth and more.

6. యూదా పట్టణములలో కాపురమున్న ఇశ్రాయేలు వారును యూదా వారును ఎద్దులలోను గొఱ్ఱెలలోను పదియవవంతును, తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములైన వస్తువులలో పదియవ వంతును తీసికొని వచ్చి కుప్పలుగా కూర్చిరి.

6. The people of Isra'el and Y'hudah living in the cities of Y'hudah also brought the required tenth of oxen and sheep and the required tenth of consecrated gifts that had been dedicated to ADONAI their God, and piled them in heaps.

7. వారు మూడవ మాసమందు కుప్పలువేయ నారంభించి ఏడవ మాసమందు ముగించిరి.

7. They began accumulating these heaps in the third month and completed them in the seventh month.

8. హిజ్కియాయును అధి పతులును వచ్చి ఆ కుప్పలను చూచి యెహోవాను స్తుతించి ఆయన జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను దీవించిరి.

8. When Hizkiyahu and the leaders came and saw the heaps, they blessed ADONAI and his people Isra'el.

9. హిజ్కియా ఆ కుప్పలనుగూర్చి యాజకులను లేవీయులను ఆలోచన యడిగినందుకు సాదోకు సంతతివాడును ప్రధానయాజ కుడునగు అజర్యా

9. When Hizkiyahu asked the [cohanim] and [L'vi'im] about the heaps,

10. యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి జనులు కానుకలను తెచ్చుట మొదలుపెట్టినప్పటినుండి మేము సమృద్ధిగా భోజనముచేసినను చాలా మిగులుచున్నది; యెహోవా తన జనులను ఆశీర్వదించినందున ఇంత గొప్పరాశి మిగిలినదని రాజుతోననగా

10. Azaryahu the chief [cohen], from the house of Tzadok, answered him, 'Ever since the people began bringing offerings into the house of ADONAI, we have had enough to eat and plenty left over; for ADONAI has blessed his people, and what is left over is this massive supply.'

11. హిజ్కియా యెహోవా మందిరములో కొట్లను సిద్ధపరచవలసినదని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

11. Then Hizkiyahu ordered storerooms prepared in the house of ADONAI. After preparing them,

12. they faithfully brought in the offerings, the required tenths and the consecrated things. Konanyahu the [Levi] was put in charge of them, with Shim'i his brother as his assistant.

13. Hizkiyahu the king and 'Azaryahu the ruler of the house of God appointed Yechi'el, 'Azazyahu, Nachat, 'Asah'el, Yerimot, Yozavad, Eli'el, Yismachyah, Machat and B'nayahu as supervisors to serve under Konanyah and Shim'i his brother.

14. తూర్పుతట్టు ద్వారమునొద్ద పాల కుడును ఇమ్నా కుమారుడునగు లేవీయుడైన కోరే యెహోవా కానుకలను అతిపరిశుద్ధమైనవాటిని పంచి పెట్టుటకు దేవునికి అర్పింపబడిన స్వేచ్ఛార్పణలమీద నియమింపబడెను.

14. Kore the son of Yimnah the [Levi], gatekeeper at the East Gate, was responsible for the voluntary offerings to God; he had to distribute the offerings made to ADONAI and the especially holy gifts.

15. అతని చేతిక్రింద ఏదెను మిన్యామీను యేషూవ షెమయా అమర్యా షెకన్యా అనువారు నమ్మకమైనవారు గనుక యాజకుల పట్టణములందు పిన్న పెద్దలైన తమ సహోదరులకు వంతులచొప్పున భాగము లిచ్చుటకు నియమింపబడిరి.

15. Under him were 'Eden, Minyamin, Yeshua, Sh'ma'yahu, Amaryahu and Sh'khanyahu, in the cities of the [cohanim], faithfully making the distributions to their kinsmen by divisions, to great and small alike.

16. ఇదియుగాక గోత్రములలో మూడు సంవత్సరములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సు గలవారై జనసంఖ్య సరిచూడబడిన మగవారికందరికిని, వంతులచొప్పున సేవచేయుటకై ప్రతిదినము యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి వచ్చువారందరికిని,

16. Every male three years and older entitled to enter the house of ADONAI was given his daily share for performing his duties according to his division, regardless of how he was recorded in the genealogies.

17. ఇరువది సంవత్సర ములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సు గలవారై వంతుల చొప్పున సేవచేయుటకు తమ తమ పితరుల వంశములచొప్పున యాజకులలో సరిచూడబడిన లేవీయులకు,

17. Likewise, those recorded in the genealogies of the [cohanim] by clans received shares, as did the [L'vi'im] twenty years and older who were performing their duties in their assigned divisions.

18. అనగా నమ్మకమైనవారై తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనిన లేవీ యులకును, తమ పిల్లలతోను భార్యలతోను కుమారులతోను కుమార్తెలతోను

18. When shares were assigned, all their little ones, wives, sons and daughters were also recorded in the genealogies, throughout the entire community; for in their faithfulness to this task they consecrated themselves.

19. సమాజమంతటను సరిచూడబడిన వారికిని, ఆయా పట్టణములకు చేరిన గ్రామములలో నున్న అహరోను వంశస్థులైన యాజకులకును, వంతులు ఏర్పరచుటకు వారు నియమింపబడి యుండిరి. పేళ్లచేత చెప్పబడిన ఆ జనులు యాజకులలో పురుషులకందరికిని, లేవీయులలో వంశములచొప్పున సరిచూడబడిన వారికందరికిని వంతులు ఏర్పరచుటకు నియమింపబడిరి.

19. Finally, shares were assigned to the descendants of Aharon, the [cohanim], who lived in the pasture-lands surrounding their cities- in each city they were mentioned by name. Thus portions were distributed to all the males among the [cohanim] and to all whose genealogies showed that they belonged to the [L'vi'im].

20. హిజ్కియా యూదా దేశమంతటను ఈలాగున జరిగించి, తన దేవుడైన యెహోవా దృష్టికి అనుకూలముగాను యథార్థముగాను నమ్మకముగాను పనిచేయుచు వచ్చెను.

20. This is what Hizkiyahu did throughout all Y'hudah. He accomplished things that were good, right and faithful before ADONAI his God.

21. తన దేవుని ఆశ్ర యించుటకై దేవుని మందిర సేవవిషయమందేమి ధర్మశాస్త్ర విషయమందేమి ధర్మమంతటివిషయమందేమి తాను ఆరంభించిన ప్రతి పని అతడు హృదయపూర్వకముగా జరిగించి వర్ధిల్లెను.

21. Every project that he undertook in order to seek his God, whether in the service of the house of God or in connection with the [Torah] and the [mitzvot], he did with all his heart; and so he succeeded.
