1. ఈ ప్రకారము ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును తమ వంశములచొప్పున సరిచూడబడినమీదట వారిపేళ్లు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడెను. యూదా వారు చేసిన ద్రోహమునకై వారు బాబెలునకు చెరగొని పోబడిరి.

1. So all Yisra'el were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Yisra'el: and Yehudah was carried away captive to Bavel for their disobedience.

2. తమ స్వాస్థ్యములైన పట్టణములలో మునుపు కాపురమున్న వారెవరనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును యాజకు లును లేవీయులును నెతీనీయులును.

2. Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Yisra'el, the Kohanim, the Levites, and the temple servants.

3. యూదావారిలోను బెన్యామీనీయులలోను ఎఫ్రాయిము మనష్షే సంబంధులలోను యెరూషలేమునందు కాపురమున్న వారెవరనగా

3. In Yerushalayim lived of the children of Yehudah, and of the children of Binyamin, and of the children of Efrayim and Menashsheh:

4. యూదా కుమారుడైన పెరెసు సంతతివాడగు బానీ కుమారుడైన ఇమీకి పుట్టిన ఒమీ కుమారుడగు అమీహూదునకు జననమైన ఊతైయు.

4. `Utai the son of `Ammihud, the son of `Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Peretz the son of Yehudah.

5. షిలోనీయుల పెద్దవాడైన ఆశాయాయు వాని పిల్లలును.

5. Of the Shiloni: `Asayah the firstborn, and his sons.

6. జెరహు సంతతివారిలో యెవుయేలు వాని సహోదరులైన ఆరువందల తొంబది మంది,

6. Of the sons of Zerach: Ye`u'el, and their brothers, six hundred ninety.

7. బెన్యామీనీయులలో సెనూయా కుమారుడైన హోదవ్యాకు పుట్టిన మెషుల్లాము కుమారుడగు సల్లు,

7. Of the sons of Binyamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodavyah, the son of Senu'ah,

8. యెరోహాము కుమారుడైన ఇబ్నెయా, మిక్రికి పుట్టిన ఉజ్జీ కుమారుడైన ఏలా, ఇబ్నీయా కుమారుడైన రగూవేలునకు పుట్టిన షెఫట్యా కుమారుడగు మెషుల్లాము.

8. and Yivneyah the son of Yerocham, and Elah the son of `Uzzi, the son of Mikhri, and Meshullam the son of Shefatyah, the son of Re`u'el, the son of Yivniyah;

9. వీరును వీరిసహోదరులును తమ తమ వంశముల పట్టీల చొప్పున తొమ్మిదివందల ఏబది ఆరుగురు; ఈ మనుష్యులందరును తమ పితరుల వంశములనుబట్టి తమ పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్దలు.

9. and their brothers, according to their generations, nine hundred fifty-six. All these men were heads of fathers' houses by their fathers' houses.

10. యాజకులలో యెదాయా యెహోయారీబు యాకీను,

10. Of the Kohanim: Yedayah, and Yehoiariv, Yakhin,

11. దేవుని మందిరములో అధిపతియైన అహీ టూబు కుమారుడైన మెరాయోతునకు పుట్టిన సాదోకు కుమారుడగు మెషుల్లామునకు కలిగిన హిల్కీయా కుమారుడైన అజర్యా;

11. and `Azaryah the son of Hilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Tzadok, the son of Merayot, the son of Achituv, the ruler of the house of God;

12. మల్కీయా కుమారుడగు పసూరునకు పుట్టిన యెరోహాము కుమారుడైన అదాయా ఇమ్మెరు కుమారుడైన మెషిల్లేమీతు నకు పుట్టిన మెషుల్లామునకు కుమారుడైన యహజేరాకు జననమైన అదీయేలు కుమారుడగు మశై.

12. and `Adayah the son of Yerocham, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah, and Ma`asai the son of `Adi'el, the son of Yachzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemit, the son of Immer;

13. మరియు తమ పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్దలైన వెయ్యిన్ని యేడువందల అరువది మంది కుటుంబికులు. వీరు దేవుని మందిరసేవా సంబంధమైన కార్యములయందు మంచి గట్టివారు.

13. and their brothers, heads of their fathers' houses, one thousand seven hundred sixty; very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.

14. Of the Levites: Shemayah the son of Hashshuv, the son of `Azrikam, the son of Hashavyah, of the sons of Merari;

15. బక్బక్కరు, హెరెషు, గాలాలు, ఆసాపు కుమారుడగు జిఖ్రీకి పుట్టిన మీకా కుమారుడైన మత్తన్యా,

15. and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattanyah the son of Mikha, the son of Zikhri, the son of Asaf,

16. యదూతోను కుమారు డైన గాలాలునకు పుట్టిన షెమయా కుమారుడైన ఓబద్యా, నెటోపాతీయుల గ్రామములలో కాపురమున్న ఎల్కానా కుమారుడైన ఆసాకు పుట్టిన బెరెక్యా.

16. and `Ovadyah the son of Shemayah, the son of Galal, the son of Yedutun, and Berekhyah the son of Asa, the son of Elkana, who lived in the villages of the Netofati.

17. ద్వారపాలకులు ఎవరనగా షల్లూము అక్కూబు టల్మోను అహీమాను అనువారును వారి సహో దరులును. వీరిలో షల్లూము పెద్ద.

17. The porters: Shallum, and `Akkuv, and Talmon, and Achiman, and their brothers (Shallum was the chief),

18. లేవీయుల సమూహ ములలో వీరు తూర్పుననుండు రాజు గుమ్మమునొద్ద ఇంత వరకు కాపురము చేయుచున్నారు.

18. who hitherto waited in the king's gate eastward: they were the porters for the camp of the children of Levi.

19. మరియు కోరహు కుమారుడగు ఎబ్యాసాపునకు పుట్టిన కోరే కుమారుడైన షల్లూమును వాని పితరుని యింటివారును వాని సహో దరులగు కోరహీయులును సేవాసంబంధమైన పనిమీదనుండి గుడారమునకు ద్వారపాలకులై యుండిరి; వారి పితరులు యెహోవా పాళెమునకు కావలివారై యుండి ప్రవేశ స్థలమును కాయుచుండిరి.

19. Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Avi'asaf, the son of Korach, and his brothers, of his father's house, the Korchi, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent: and their fathers had been over the camp of the LORD, keepers of the entry.

20. ఎలియాజరు కుమారుడైన ఫీనెహాసు మునుపు వారిమీద అధికారియై యుండెను, యెహోవా అతనితోకూడ నుండెను.

20. Pinechas the son of El`azar was ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.

21. మరియు మెషెలెమ్యా కుమారుడైన జెకర్యా సమాజపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునకు కావలి.

21. Zekharyah the son of Meshelemyah was porter of the door of the tent of meeting.

22. గుమ్మములయొద్ద ద్వారపాలకులుగా ఏర్పడిన వీరందరు రెండువందల పన్నిద్దరు; వీరు తమ గ్రామముల వరుసను తమ వంశావళి చొప్పున సరిచూడబడిరి; వీరు నమ్మదగినవారని దావీదును దీర్ఘదర్శియగు సమూయేలును వీరిని నియమించిరి.

22. All these who were chosen to be porters in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Shemu'el the seer did ordain in their office of trust.

23. వారికిని వారి కుమారు లకును యెహోవా మందిరపు గుమ్మములకు, అనగా గుడా రపు మందిరముయొక్క గుమ్మములకు వంతుల చొప్పున కావలికాయు పని గలిగియుండెను.

23. So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, even the house of the tent, by wards.

24. గుమ్మముల కావలి వారు నాలుగు దిశలను, అనగా తూర్పునను పడమరను ఉత్తరమునను దక్షిణమునను ఉండిరి.

24. On the four sides were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.

25. వారి సహోదరులు తమ గ్రామములలోనుండి యేడేసి దినముల కొకసారివారియొద్దకు వచ్చుటకద్దు.

25. Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them:

26. లేవీయులైన నలుగురు ప్రధాన ద్వారపాలకులు ఉత్తరవాదులై యుండిరి; దేవుని మందిరపు గదులమీదను బొక్కసములమీదను ఆ లేవీయులు ఉంచబడియుండిరి.

26. for the four chief porters, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the chambers and over the treasuries in the house of God.

27. వారు దేవుని మందిరమునకు కావలివారు గనుక వారి కాపురములు దానిచుట్టు ఉండెను. ప్రతి ఉదయమున మందిరపు వాకిండ్లను తెరచుపని వారిదే.

27. They lodged round about the house of God, because the charge of it was on them; and to them pertained the opening of it morning by morning.

28. వారిలో కొందరు సేవోపకరణములను కనిపెట్టు వారు, వారు లెక్కచొప్పున వాటిని లోపలికి కొనిపోవలెను, లెక్క చొప్పున వెలుపలికి తీసికొని రావలెను.

28. Certain of them had charge of the vessels of service; for by count were these brought in and by count were these taken out.

29. మరియు వారిలో కొందరు మిగిలిన సామగ్రిమీదను పరి శుధ్ధమైన పాత్రలన్నిటిమీదను ఉంచబడియుండిరి; సన్నపు పిండియు ద్రాక్షారసమును నూనెయు ధూప వర్గమును వారి అధీనము చేయబడెను.

29. Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.

30. యాజకుల కుమారు లలో కొందరు సుగంధవర్గములను పరిమళతైలమును చేయు దురు.

30. Some of the sons of the Kohanim prepared the confection of the spices.

31. లేవీయులలో కోరహు సంతతివాడైన షల్లూమునకు పెద్ద కుమారుడైన మత్తిత్యా పిండివంటల మీద నుంచబడెను.

31. Mattityah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korchite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.

32. వారి సహోదరులగు కహాతీయులలో కొందరికి విశ్రాంతి దినమున సముఖపు రొట్టెలు సిద్ధము చేయు పని కలిగియుండెను.

32. Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kehati, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Shabbat.

33. లేవీయుల పితరులలో పెద్దలైన గాయకులు రాత్రింబగళ్లు పని విచారణ కలిగియున్న హేతువుచేత వారు కడమ పనుల విచారణలేకుండ తమ గదులలోనుండిరి.

33. These are the singers, heads of fathers' houses of the Levites, who lived in the chambers and were free from other service; for they were employed in their work day and night.

34. వీరు తమ వంశపట్టీల చొప్పున లేవీయుల పితరులలో పెద్దలైనవారు. వీరు యెరూషలేమునందు కాపురముండిరి.

34. These were heads of fathers' houses of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men: these lived at Yerushalayim.

35. గిబియోను తండ్రి యైన యెహీయేలు గిబియోనులో కాపురముండెను, అతని భార్యపేరు మయకా.

35. In Giv`on there lived the father of Giv`on, Ye`i'el, whose wife's name was Ma`akhah:

36. ఇతని పెద్ద కుమారుడు అబ్దోను; సూరు కీషు బయలు నేరు నాదాబు

36. and his firstborn son `Avdon, and Tzur, and Kish, and Ba`al, and Ner, and Nadav,

37. గెదోరు అహ్యో జెకర్యా మిక్లోతు తరువాత పుట్టినవారు.

37. and Gedor, and Achyo, and Zekharyah, and Miklot.

38. మిక్లోతు షిమ్యానును కనెను. వీరు యెరూషలేము వాసులగు తమ సహోదరులతో కూడ తమ సహోదరులకు ఎదురుగా నున్న యిండ్లలోనే కాపురముండిరి.

38. Miklot became the father of Shim'am. They also lived with their brothers in Yerushalayim, over against their brothers.

39. నేరు కీషును కనెను, కీషు సౌలును కనెను, సౌలు యోనాతానును మల్కీషూవను అబీనాదాబును ఎష్బయలును కనెను.

39. Ner became the father of Kish; and Kish became the father of Sha'ul; and Sha'ul became the father of Yonatan, and Malki-Shua, and Avinadav, and Eshba`al.

40. యోనాతాను కుమారుడు మెరీబ్బయలు, మెరీబ్బయలు మీకాను కనెను.

40. The son of Yonatan was Meriv-Ba`al; and Meriv-Ba`al became the father of Mikhah.

41. మీకా కుమారులు పీతోను మెలెకు తరేయ (ఆహాజు. )

41. The sons of Mikhah: Piton, and Melekh, and Tachre`a, and Achaz.

42. ఆహాజు యరాను కనెను; యరా ఆలెమెతును అజ్మావెతును జిమీని కనెను, జిమీ మోజాను కనెను.

42. Achaz became the father of Ya`rah; and Ya`rah became the father of `Alemet, and `Azmavet, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Motzah;

43. మోజా బిన్యాను కనెను, రెఫాయా బిన్యాకు కుమారుడు, ఎలాశా రెఫాయాకు కుమారుడు, ఆజేలు ఎలాశాకు కుమారుడు.

43. and Motzah became the father of Bin`a; and Refayah his son, El`asah his son, Atzel his son.

44. ఆజేలునకు ఆరుగురు కుమారు లుండిరి; వారు అజ్రీకాము బోకెరు ఇష్మాయేలు షెయర్యా ఓబద్యా హానాను అను పేళ్లుగలవారు; వీరు ఆజేలు కుమారులు.

44. Atzel had six sons, whose names are these: `Azrikam, Bokhru, and Yishma'el, and She`aryah, and `Ovadyah, and Hanan: these were the sons of Atzel.
