1. గోత్రముల పెద్దలను, వంతులచొప్పున రాజునకు సేవచేయు అధిపతులను సహస్రాధిపతులను, శతాధిపతులను, రాజునకును రాజుకుమారులకును కలిగియున్న యావత్తు చరాస్తిమీదను స్థిరాస్తిమీదను ఉన్న అధిపతులను, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలనందరిని రాజునొద్ద నున్న పరివారమును పరాక్రమశాలులను సేవా సంబంధులైన పరాక్రమ శాలులనందరిని రాజగు దావీదు యెరూషలేమునందు సమకూర్చెను.

1. David commanded all the leaders of Israel to come to Jerusalem. There were the leaders of the tribes, commanders of the divisions serving the king, commanders of a thousand men and of a hundred men, leaders who took care of the property and animals that belonged to the king and his sons, men over the palace, the powerful men, and all the brave warriors.

2. అప్పుడు రాజైన దావీదు లేచి నిలువబడి ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునా సహోదరులారా, నా జనులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించుడి; యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమునకును మన దేవుని పాదపీఠమునకును విశ్రమస్థానముగా ఉండుటకు ఒక మందిరము కట్టించ వలెనని నేను నా హృదయమందు నిశ్చయము చేసికొని సమస్తము సిద్ధపరచితిని.

2. King David stood up and said, 'Listen to me, my relatives and my people. I wanted to build a place to keep the Ark of the Agreement with the Lord. I wanted it to be God's footstool. So I made plans to build a temple.

3. అయితే నీవు యుద్ధములు జరిగించి రక్తము ఒలికించినవాడవు గనుక నీవు నా నామ మునకు మందిరమును కట్టించకూడదని దేవుడు నాకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

3. But God said to me, 'You must not build a temple for worshiping me, because you are a soldier and have killed many people.'

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద నిత్యము రాజునై యుండుటకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నా తండ్రి యింటివారందరిలోను నన్ను కోరుకొనెను, ఆయన యూదాగోత్రమును, యూదాగోత్రపువారిలో ప్రధానమైనదిగా నా తండ్రి యింటిని నా తండ్రి యింటిలో నన్నును ఏర్పరచుకొని నాయందు ఆయన దయచూపి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద రాజుగా నియమించియున్నాడు.

4. But the Lord, the God of Israel, chose me from my whole family to be king of Israel forever. He chose the tribe of Judah to lead, and from the people of Judah, he chose my father's family. From that family God was pleased to make me king of Israel.

5. యెహోవా నాకు అనేకమంది కుమారులను దయచేసి యున్నాడు, అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులపైని యెహోవా రాజ్యసింహాసనముమీద కూర్చుండుటకు ఆయన నా కుమారులందరిలో సొలొమోనును కోరుకొని ఆయన నాతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

5. The Lord has given me many sons, and from those sons he has chosen Solomon to be the new king of Israel. Israel is the Lord's kingdom.

6. నేను నీ కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనును నాకు కుమారునిగా ఏర్పరచుకొని యున్నాను, నేను అతనికి తండ్రినైయుందును అతడు నా మందిరమును నా ఆవరణములను కట్టించును.

6. The Lord said to me, 'Your son Solomon will build my Temple and its courtyards. I have chosen Solomon to be my son, and I will be his father.

7. మరియు నేటిదినమున చేయుచున్నట్లు అతడు ధైర్యమువహించి నా ఆజ్ఞలను నా న్యాయవిధులను అనుసరించినయెడల, నేనతని రాజ్యమును నిత్యము స్థిరపరచుదును.

7. He is obeying my laws and commands now. If he continues to obey them, I will make his kingdom strong forever.''

8. కాబట్టి మీరు ఈ మంచిదేశమును స్వాస్థ్యముగా అనుభవించి, మీ తరువాత మీ సంతతివారికి శాశ్వత స్వాస్థ్యముగా దానిని అప్ప గించునట్లు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిచ్చిన యాజ్ఞలన్నియు ఎట్టివో తెలిసికొని వాటిని గైకొనుడి అని యెహోవా సమాజమునకు చేరిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు చూచుచుండగను మన దేవుడు ఆలకించుచుండగను నేను మిమ్మును హెచ్చరిక చేయుచున్నాను.

8. David said, 'Now, in front of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of God, I tell you these things: Be careful to obey all the commands of the Lord your God. Then you will keep this good land and pass it on to your descendants forever.

9. సొలొమోనా, నా కుమారుడా, నీ తండ్రియొక్క దేవుడైన యెహోవా అందరి హృదయములను పరిశోధించువాడును, ఆలోచనలన్నిటిని సంకల్పములన్నిటిని ఎరిగినవాడునై యున్నాడు. నీవు ఆయనను తెలిసికొని హృదయపూర్వకముగాను మనః పూర్వకముగాను ఆయనను సేవించుము, ఆయనను వెదకినయెడల ఆయన నీకు ప్రత్యక్షమగును, నీవు ఆయనను విసర్జించినయెడల ఆయన నిన్ను నిత్యముగా త్రోసి వేయును.

9. And you, my son Solomon, accept the God of your father. Serve him completely and willingly, because the Lord knows what is in everyone's mind. He understands everything you think. If you go to him for help, you will get an answer. But if you turn away from him, he will leave you forever.

10. పరిశుద్ధ స్థలముగా ఉండుటకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించుటకై యెహోవా నిన్ను కోరుకొనిన సంగతి మనస్సునకు తెచ్చుకొని ధైర్యము వహించి పని జరిగింపుము.

10. Solomon, you must understand this. The Lord has chosen you to build the Temple as his holy place. Be strong and finish the job.'

11. అప్పుడు దావీదు మంటపమునకును మందిరపు కట్టడ మునకును బొక్కసపు శాలలకును మేడ గదులకును లోపలి గదులకును కరుణాపీఠపు గదికిని యెహోవా మందిరపు ఆవరణములకును

11. Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for building the Temple and the courtyard around the Temple. They included its buildings, its storerooms, its upper rooms, its inside rooms, and the place where the people's sins were removed.

12. వాటి చుట్టునున్న గదులకును దేవుని మందిరపు బొక్కసములకును ప్రతిష్ఠిత వస్తువుల బొక్కస ములకును తాను ఏర్పాటుచేసి సిద్ధపరచిన మచ్చులను తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనునకు అప్పగించెను.

12. David gave him plans for everything he had in mind: the courtyards around the Lord's Temple and all the rooms around it, the Temple treasuries, and the treasuries of the holy items used in the Temple.

13. మరియు యాజకులును లేవీయులును సేవచేయవలసిన వంతుల పట్టీ యును, యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవనుగూర్చిన పట్టీయును, యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవోపకరణముల పట్టీయును దావీదు అతనికప్పగించెను.

13. David gave Solomon directions for the groups of the priests and Levites. David told him about all the work of serving in the Temple of the Lord and about the items to be used in the Temple service

14. మరియు ఆయా సేవాక్రమ ములకు కావలసిన బంగారు ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని చేయుటకై యెత్తుప్రకారము బంగారమును, ఆ యా సేవాక్రమములకు కావలసిన వెండి ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని చేయుటకై యెత్తు ప్రకారము వెండిని దావీదు అతని కప్పగించెను.

14. that were made of gold or silver. David told Solomon how much gold or silver should be used to make each thing.

15. బంగారు దీపస్తంభములకును వాటి బంగారు ప్రమిదెలకును ఒక్కొక్క దీపస్తంభమునకును దాని ప్రమి దెలకును కావలసినంత బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకారము గాను, వెండి దీపస్తంభములలో ఒక్కొక దీపస్తంభమునకును, దాని దాని ప్రమిదెలకును కావలసినంత వెండిని యెత్తు ప్రకారముగాను,

15. David told him how much gold to use for each gold lampstand and its lamps and how much silver to use for each silver lampstand and its lamps. The different lampstands were to be used where needed.

16. సన్నిధిరొట్టెలు ఉంచు ఒక్కొక బల్లకు కావలసినంత బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకా రముగాను, వెండిబల్లలకు కావలసినంత వెండిని,

16. David told how much gold should be used for each table that held the holy bread and how much silver should be used for the silver tables.

17. ముండ్ల కొంకులకును గిన్నెలకును పాత్రలకును కావలసినంత అచ్చ బంగారమును, బంగారు గిన్నెలలో ఒక్కొక గిన్నెకు కావలసినంత బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకారముగాను వెండి గిన్నెలలో ఒక్కొక గిన్నెకు కావలసినంత వెండిని యెత్తు ప్రకారముగాను,

17. He told how much pure gold should be used to make the forks, bowls, and pitchers and how much gold should be used to make each gold dish. He told how much silver should be used to make each silver dish

18. ధూపపీఠమునకు కావలసినంత పుటము వేయబడిన బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకారముగాను, రెక్కలు విప్పుకొని యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమును కప్పు కెరూబుల వాహనముయొక్క మచ్చునకు కావలసినంత బంగార మును అతని కప్పగించెను.

18. and how much pure gold should be used for the altar of incense. He also gave Solomon the plans for the chariot of the golden creatures that spread their wings over the Ark of the Agreement with the Lord.

19. ఇవియన్నియు అప్పగించియెహోవా హస్తము నామీదికి వచ్చి యీ మచ్చుల పని యంతయు వ్రాతమూలముగా నాకు నేర్పెను అని సొలొ మోనుతో చెప్పెను.

19. David said, 'All these plans were written with the Lord guiding me. He helped me understand everything in the plans.'

20. మరియు దావీదు తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనుతో చెప్పిన దేమనగానీవు బలముపొంది ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొని యీ పని పూనుకొనుము, భయపడ కుండుము, వెరవకుండుము, నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీతోకూడ నుండును; యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవను గూర్చిన పనియంతయు నీవు ముగించువరకు ఆయన నిన్ను ఎంతమాత్రమును విడువక యుండును.

20. David also said to his son Solomon, 'Be strong and brave, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged, because the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or leave you until all the work for the Temple of the Lord is finished.

21. దేవుని మందిర సేవయంతటికిని యాజకులును లేవీయులును వంతులప్రకా రము ఏర్పాటైరి; నీ యాజ్ఞకు బద్ధులైయుండి యీ పని యంతటిని నెరవేర్చుటకై ఆ యా పనులయందు ప్రవీణులైన వారును మనఃపూర్వకముగా పనిచేయువారును అధి పతులును జనులందరును నీకు సహాయులగుదురు.

21. The groups of the priests and Levites are ready for all the work on the Temple of God. Every skilled worker is ready to help you with all the work. The leaders and all the people will obey every command you give.'
