1. దావీదు ఏండ్లు నిండిన వృద్ధుడాయెను గనుక అతడు తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద రాజుగా నియమించెను.

1. So when Dauid was olde and full of dayes, he made Solomon his sonneking ouer Israel.

2. మరియు అతడు ఇశ్రా యేలీయుల యధిపతులందరిని యాజకులను లేవీయులను సమకూర్చెను.

2. And then he gathered together all the lordes of Israel, with the priestes and the Leuites.

3. అప్పుడు లేవీయులు ముప్పది సంవత్సర ములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సుగలవారు కవిలెలో చేర్చబడిరి; వారి సంఖ్య ముప్పది యెనిమిది వేల పురుషులు.

3. And the Leuites were numbred from the age of thirtie yeres and aboue: and the number and summe of them was thirtie and eyght thousande men.

4. వీరిలో ఇరువది నాలుగువేలమంది యెహోవా మందిరపు పని విచారించువారుగాను, ఆరు వేలమంది అధిపతులుగాను, న్యాయాధిపతులుగాను ఉండిరి.

4. Of which twentie and foure thousand were set to further the worke of the house of the Lorde: and sixe thousande were officers and iudges.

5. నాలుగు వేలమంది ద్వారపాలకులుగా నియమింపబడిరి. మరినాలుగు వేలమంది స్తుతిచేయు నిమిత్తమై దావీదు చేయించిన వాద్యవిశేషములతో యెహోవాను స్తుతించువారుగా నియమింపబడిరి.

5. Foure thousande were porters, & foure thousand praysed the Lorde with such instrumentes as was made to prayse withall.

6. గెర్షోను కహాతు మెరారీయులు అను లేవీయులలో దావీదు వారిని వరుసలుగా విభాగించెను. గెర్షోనీయులలో లద్దాను షిమీ అనువారుండిరి.

6. And so Dauid put an order among them deuiding them, in partes: Of the children of Leui, Gerson, Caath, and Merari.

7. లద్దాను కుమారులు ముగ్గురు;

7. Of the Gersonites was Laadan, and Semei.

8. పెద్దవాడగు యెహీయేలు, జేతాము యోవేలు

8. The sounes of Laadan, the chiefe was Iehiel, Zethan, and Ioel, three.

9. షిమీ కుమారులు ముగ్గురు, షెలోమీతు హజీయేలు హారాను, వీరు లద్దాను వంశముయొక్క పితరుల పెద్దలు.

9. The sonnes of Semei: Selomith, Haziel, and Haran, three. These were the auncient fathers of Laadan.

10. యహతు జీనా యూషు బెరీయా అను నలుగురును షిమీ కుమారులు.

10. And the sonnes of Semei: were, Iahath, Zina, Ieus, & Beria: these foure were the sonnes of Semei.

11. యహతు పెద్దవాడు జీనా రెండవవాడు. యూషునకును బెరీయాకును కుమారులు అనేకులు లేకపోయిరి గనుక తమ పితరుల యింటి వారిలో వారు ఒక్కవంశముగా ఎంచబడిరి.

11. And Iahath was the chiefe, Ziza the seconde: but Ieus, and Beria had not many sonnes, therfore they were in one reckening according to their fathers housholde, reckened for one auncient housholde.

12. కహాతు కుమారులు నలుగురు, అమ్రాము ఇస్హారు హెబ్రోను ఉజ్జీయేలు.

12. The sonnes of Caath: Amram, Izahar, Hebron, and Uzziel, foure.

13. అమ్రాము కుమారులు అహరోను మోషే; అహరోనును అతని కుమారులును నిత్యము అతి పరిశుద్ధమైన వస్తువులను ప్రతిష్ఠించుటకును, యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ధూపము వేయుటకును, ఆయన సేవ జరిగించుటకును, ఆయన నామమును బట్టి జనులను దీవించుటకును ప్రత్యేకింపబడిరి.

13. The sonnes of Amram: Aaron, and Moyses: And Aaron was separated to haue the rule of the holy thinges in the place most holy, he & his sonnes for euer, and to burne incense before the Lorde, and to minister vnto him, and to blesse in his name for euer.

14. దైవజనుడగు మోషే సంతతివారు లేవి గోత్రపువారిలో ఎంచబడిరి.

14. Moyses also the man of God, and his children, were named with the tribe of Leui.

15. మోషే కుమారులు గెర్షోము ఎలీయెజెరు.

15. The sonnes of Moyses: Gerso, & Eliezer.

16. గెర్షోము కుమారులలో షెబూయేలు పెద్దవాడు.

16. Of the sonnes of Gersom, Sebuel was the chiefe.

17. ఎలీయెజెరు కుమారులలో రెహబ్యా అను పెద్దవాడు తప్ప ఇక కుమారులు అతనికి లేకపోయిరి, అయితే రెహబ్యాకు అనేకమంది కుమారులుండిరి.

17. The sonnes of Eliezer, Rehabia the chiefe: And Eliezer had none other sonnes, but the sonnes of Rehabia were verie many.

18. ఇస్హారు కుమారులలో షెలోమీతు పెద్దవాడు.

18. The sonnes of Izahar, Selomith the chiefe.

19. హెబ్రోను కుమారులలో యెరీయా పెద్దవాడు, అమర్యా రెండవవాడు, యహజీయేలు మూడవవాడు, యెక్మెయాము నాలుగవవాడు.

19. The sonnes of Hebron, Ieriahu the first, Amaria the seconde, Iahaziel the thirde, and Iermaam the fourth.

20. ఉజ్జీయేలు కుమారులలో మీకా పెద్ద వాడు యెషీయా రెండవవాడు.

20. The sonnes of Uzziel: Micha the first, and Iesia the seconde.

21. మెరారి కుమారులు మహలి మూషి; మహలి కుమారులు ఎలియాజరు కీషు.

21. The sonnes of Merati: Mahli, & Musi. The sonnes of Mahli: Eleazar and Cis.

22. ఎలియాజరు చనిపోయినప్పుడు వానికి కుమార్తెలుండిరి కాని కుమారులు లేకపోయిరి. కీషు కుమారులైన వారి సహోదరులు వారిని వివాహము చేసికొనిరి.

22. And Eleazar dyed, and had no sonnes, but daughters: and their brethren the sonnes of Cis toke them.

23. మూషి కుమారులు ముగ్గురు, మహలి ఏదెరు యెరీమోతు.

23. The sonnes of Musi: Mahli, Eder, and Ieremoth, three.

24. వీరు తమ పితరుల యింటివారినిబట్టి లేవీయులుగా ఎంచబడిరి; పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్ద లైన వీరు ఇరువది సంవత్సరములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సుగలవారై తమ తమ పేరుల లెక్కప్రకారము ఒక్కొక్కరుగా నెంచబడి యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవచేయు పనివారైయుండిరి.

24. These are the children of Leui after the houshold of their fathers, euen the auncient of the fathers according to their offices, and after the number and summe of the names of them that dyd the worke in the seruice of the house of the Lord, from the age of twentie yeres and aboue.

25. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన జనులకు నెమ్మది దయచేసియున్నాడు గనుక వారు నిత్యము యెరూషలేములో నివాసము చేయుదురనియు

25. And Dauid sayde: The Lorde God of Israel hath geuen rest vnto his people, that they may dwell in Hierusalem for euer.

26. లేవీయులుకూడ ఇకమీదట గుడారమునైనను దాని సేవకొరకైన ఉపకరణ ములనైనను మోయ పనిలేదనియు దావీదు సెలవిచ్చెను.

26. That the Leuites also shoulde nowe no more beare the tabernacle, and al the vessels for the seruice thereof.

27. దావీదు ఇచ్చిన కడవరి యాజ్ఞనుబట్టి లేవీయులలో ఇరువది సంవత్సరములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సుగలవారు ఎంచబడిరి.

27. For according to the last wordes of Dauid, the Leuites were numbred from twentie yeres and aboue.

28. వీరు అహరోను సంతతివారి చేతిక్రింద పని చూచుటకును, వారి వశముననున్న యెహోవా మందిర సేవకొరకై సాలలలోను గదులలోను ఉంచబడిన సకలమైన ప్రతిష్ఠితవస్తువులను శుద్ధిచేయుటకును, దేవుని మందిర సేవకొరకైన పనిని విచారించుటకును,

28. And their office was vnder the hande of the sonnes of Aaron, for the seruice of the house of the Lorde in the courtes and celles, and in the purifying of all holy thinges, and in the worke of the seruice of the house of God:

29. సన్నిధి రొట్టెను నైవేద్యమునకు తగిన సన్నపు పిండిని పులుసులేని భోజ్యములను పెనములో కాల్చు దానిని పేల్చుదానిని నానావిధమైన పరిమాణములు గలవాటిని కొలతగలవాటిని విచారించుటకును,

29. In the shewbread, in the fine flowre, in the meate offring, in ye wafers of sweete bread, in the frying panne, in the gredyron, and in all maner of measures & sise:

30. అనుదినము ఉదయ సాయంకాల ములయందు యెహోవానుగూర్చిన స్తుతి పాటలు పాడు టకును, విశ్రాంతిదినములలోను, అమావాస్యలలోను పండుగలలోను యెహోవాకు దహనబలులను అర్పింపవలసిన సమయములన్నిటిలోను, లెక్కకు సరియైనవారు వంతు ప్రకారము నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సేవ జరిగించుటకును నియమింపబడిరి.

30. And to stand euery day in the morning to thanke and prayse the Lorde, and so likewise at euen:

31. సమాజపు గుడారమును కాపాడుటయు, పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును కాపాడుటయు,

31. And to offer all burnt sacrifices vnto the Lord, in the Sabbathes, in the new moones, and on the feastfull dayes, by number and custome continually as they were commaunded, before the Lord.

32. యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవతో సంబంధించిన పనులలో వారి సహోదరులగు అహరోను సంతతివారికి సహాయము చేయుటయు వారికి నియమింపబడిన పనియైయుండెను.

32. And that they should wayte on the tabernacle of the congregation, & on the holy place, and on the sonnes of Aaron their brethre, in the seruice of the house of the Lord.
