1. దావీదు కీషు కుమారుడైన సౌలునకు భయపడియింకను దాగియుండగా సౌలు బంధువులగు బెన్యామీనీ యులలో పరాక్రమశాలులు కొందరు దావీదునకు యుద్ధ సహాయము చేయుటకై అతనియొద్దకు సిక్లగునకు వచ్చిరి.

1. These are they that came to Dauid to Ziklag while he yet kept himselfe close because of Saul the sonne of Cis: and they were very strong helpers in battaile.

2. వీరు విలుకాండ్రయి కుడి యెడమ చేతులతో వడిసెలచేత రాళ్లు రువ్వుటకును వింటిచేత అంబులు విడుచుటకును సమర్థులైన వారు.

2. They were weaponed with bowes, and could hurle stones with the right hand and with the left, and shoote arrowes out of a bowe, & were of Sauls brethren, euen of Beniamin.

3. వారెవరనగా గిబియావాడైన షెమాయా కుమారులైన అహీయెజెరు, ఇతడు అధిపతి; ఇతని తరువాతివాడగు యోవాషు, అజ్మావెతు కుమారులైన యెజీయేలు, పెలెటు, బెరాకా, అనెతోతీయుడైన యెహూ,

3. The chiefest were Ahiezer, and Ioas the sonnes of Simaa a Gibeonite, and Ieziel and Pelet the sonnes of Asmaueth, Beracah and Iehu of Anathoth.

4. ముప్పదిమందిలో పరాక్రమశాలియు ముప్పది మందికి పెద్దయునైన ఇష్మయా అను గిబియోనీయుడు, యిర్మీయా, యహజీయేలు, యోహానాను, గెదేరాతీ యుడైన యోజాబాదు,

4. And Ismaia a Gibeonite, a mightie man among thirtie, and more then the thirtie: Ieremiah, Iehaziel, Iehonan, and Iosabad of Gedor.

5. ఎలూజై, యెరీమోతు, బెయల్యా, షెమర్యా, హరీపీయుడైన షెఫటయా,

5. Eleusai, Ierimoth, Bealia, Semaria, and Seaphatia, the Haraphites.

6. కోరహీయులగు ఎల్కానా, యెష్షీయా, అజరేలు, యోహెజెరు, యాషాబాము,

6. Elcana, Iesia, Azarael, Ioezer, Iosebeam, Coranites.

7. గెదోరు ఊరివాడైన యెరోహాము కుమారులగు యోహేలా, జెబద్యా అనువారును.

7. Ioela and Zebadiah the sonnes of Ieroam of Gedor.

8. మరియు గాదీయులలో పరాక్రమశాలులు కొందరు అరణ్యమందు దాగియున్న దావీదునొద్ద చేరిరి; వీరు డాలును ఈటెను వాడుకచేయగల యుద్ధప్రవీణులు, సింహముఖమువంటి ముఖములు గలవారు, కొండలలోనుండు జింకలంత పాద వేగము గలవారు.

8. And of the Gadites there seperated themselues some vnto Dauid into the houlde of the wildernesse, men of might and men apt for the warre, & that coulde handle shielde and speare, whose faces were lyke the faces of lions, and they were as swyft as the Roes in the mountaynes.

9. వారెవరనగా మొదటివాడు ఏజెరు, రెండవవాడు ఓబద్యా, మూడవవాడు ఏలీయాబు,

9. Ezer the first, Obdia the seconde, and Eliab the third,

10. నాల్గవవాడు దుష్మన్నా, అయిదవవాడు యిర్మీయా,

10. Masmana the fourth, Ieremia the fifth,

11. ఆరవవాడు అత్తయి, యేడవవాడు ఎలీయేలు,

11. Atthai the sixt, Eliel the seuenth,

12. ఎనిమిదవ వాడు యోహానాను, తొమ్మిదవవాడు ఎల్జాబాదు,

12. Iohanan the eight, Elsabad the ninth,

13. పదియవవాడు యిర్మీయా, పదకొండవవాడు మక్బన్నయి.

13. Ieremia the tenth, and Machbanai the eleuenth,

14. గాదీయులగు వీరు సైన్యమునకు అధిపతులై యుండిరి; వారిలో అత్యల్పుడైనవాడు నూరుమందికి అధిపతి, అత్య ధికుడైనవాడు వెయ్యిమందికి అధిపతి,

14. These were of the sonnes of Gad, and were captaines ouer the men of warre: one of the least coulde resist an hundred, and the greatest a thousand.

15. యొర్దాను గట్టులమీదుగా పొర్లి పారుచుండు మొదటి నెలయందు దానిని దాటిపోయి తూర్పులోయలలోను పడమటిలోయలలోను ఉన్న వారినందరిని తరిమివేసినవారు వీరే.

15. These are they that went ouer Iordane in the first moneth when he had filled ouer all his banckes, and they put to flight all them of the valley both toward the east and west.

16. మరియు బెన్యామీనీయులలో కొందరును యూదావారిలో కొందరును దావీదు దాగియున్న స్థలమునకు వచ్చిరి.

16. And there came of the children of Beniamin & Iuda to the houlde vnto Dauid.

17. దావీదు బయలుదేరి వారికి ఎదురుగా పోయి వారితో ఇట్లనెనుమీరు సమాధానము కలిగి నాకు సహాయముచేయుటకై నాయొద్దకు వచ్చియున్నయెడల నా హృదయము మీతో అతికియుండును; అట్లుగాక నా వలన మీకు అపకారమేదియు కలుగలేదని యెరిగి యుండియు, నన్ను నా శత్రువులచేతికి అప్పగింపవలెనని మీరు వచ్చియున్నయెడల మన పితరులయొక్క దేవుడు దీనిని చూచి మిమ్మును గద్దించును గాక.

17. And Dauid went out to meete them, and aunswered, and sayd vnto them: If ye be come peaceably vnto me, to helpe me, myne heart shalbe knit vnto you: but and if you come to betraye me to myne aduersaries, seeing there is no wickednes in myne handes, the God of our fathers loke thereon and rebuke it.

18. అప్పుడు ముప్పదిమందికి అధిపతియైన అమాశై ఆత్మవశుడైదావీదూ, మేము నీవారము; యెష్షయి కుమారుడా, మేము నీ పక్షమున ఉన్నాము; నీకు సమాధానము కలుగునుగాక, సమా ధానము కలుగునుగాక, నీ సహకారులకును సమాధానము కలుగునుగాక, నీ దేవుడే నీకు సహాయము చేయునని పలు కగా దావీదు వారిని చేర్చుకొని వారిని తన దండునకు అధిపతులుగా చేసెను.

18. And the spirite came vpon Amasai, which was the chiefe among thirtie, & saide: Thyne are we Dauid, and on thy side thou sonne of Isai: Peace, peace be vnto thee, & peace be to thy helpers, for thy God is thyne helpe. Then Dauid receaued them, & made them heades of companies of the men of warre.

19. సౌలుమీద యుద్ధముచేయబోయిన ఫిలిష్తీయులతో కూడ దావీదు వచ్చినప్పుడు మనష్షే సంబం ధులలో కొందరును అతని పక్షముచేరిరి; దావీదు ఫిలిష్తీ యులకు సహాయము చేయకపోయెను, ఏలయనగా అతడు తన యజమానుడైన సౌలు పక్షమునకు మరలి తమకు ప్రాణ హాని చేయునని యెంచి ఫిలిష్తీయుల అధికారులు అతని పంపివేసిరి.

19. And there fell some of Manasse to Dauid, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battaile, but they helped them not: For the lordes of the Philistines toke aduisement, and sent him away againe, saying: he will fall to his maister Saul to the ieoperdie of our heades.

20. అంతట అతడు సిక్లగునకు తిరిగి పోవుచుండగా మనష్షే సంబంధులైన అద్నా యోజాబాదు, యెదీయవేలు, మిఖాయేలు, యోజాబాదు, ఎలీహు, జిల్లెతై అను మనష్షే గోత్రపువారికి అధిపతులు అతని పక్షముచేరిరి.

20. As he went to Ziklag, there fel to him of Manasse Adna, Iozadad, Iediel, Michael, Iozabad, Elihu, and Zilthai, heades of the thousandes that were of Manasse.

21. వారందరును పరాక్రమ శాలులును సైన్యాధిపతులునై యుండిరి; ఆ దండును హతముచేయుటకు వారు దావీదునకు సహాయముచేసిరి.

21. And they holpe Dauid against the rouers: For they were all mightie men of warre, and captaynes in the hoast.

22. దావీదు దండు దేవుని సైన్యమువలె మహాసైన్యమగునట్లు ప్రతిదినమున అతనికి సహాయము చేయువారు అతనియొద్దకు వచ్చు చుండిరి.

22. For at that tyme there came one or other to Dauid day by day to helpe him, vntil it was a great hoast, like the hoast of God.

23. యెహోవా నోటిమాట ప్రకారము సౌలుయొక్క రాజ్యమును దావీదుతట్టు త్రిప్పవలెనన్న ప్రయత్నముతో యుద్ధమునకై ఆయుధములను ధరించి అతనియొద్దకు హెబ్రోనునకు వచ్చిన అధిపతుల లెక్క యెంతయనగా

23. And this is the number of the chiefe captaynes that were prepared to battaile, and came to Dauid to Hebron, to turne the kingdome of Saul to him, according to the word of the Lorde.

24. యూదావారిలో డాలును ఈటెను పట్టుకొని యుద్ధసన్నద్ధులై యున్నవారు ఆరువేల ఎనిమిదివందలమంది.

24. The children of Iuda that bare shield and speare, were sixe thousand & eight hundred, redie prepared to the warre.

25. షిమ్యోనీయులలో యుద్ధ మునకు తగినశూరులు ఏడువేల నూరుమంది.

25. Of the children of Simeon, men of might to warre 7 M. & one hundred.

26. లేవీయులలో అట్టివారు నాలుగువేల ఆరువందలమంది.

26. Of the children of Leui, foure thousand and sixe hundred.

27. అహరోను సంతతివారికి యెహోయాదా అధిపతి, అతనితోకూడ ఉన్నవారు మూడువేల ఏడు వందలమంది.

27. And Iehoiada was the chiefe of them of Aaron, and with him three thousand and seuen hundred.

28. పరాక్రమశాలియైన సాదోకు అను ¸యౌవనునితో కూడ అతని తండ్రి యింటివారైన అధిపతులు ఇరువదియిద్దరు.

28. And Zadoc a young man, strong and valiaunt, and of his fathers housholde, twentie and two captaines.

29. సౌలు సంబంధులగు బెన్యా మీనీయులు మూడువేలమంది; అప్పటివరకు వారిలో బహుమంది సౌలు ఇల్లు గాపాడుచుండిరి.

29. And of the children of Beniamin the brothren of Saul, three thousand: And a great part of them did vnto that tyme folowe the house of Saul.

30. తమపితరుల యింటివారిలో పేరుపొందిన పరాక్రమశాలులు ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులలో ఇరువదివేల ఎనిమిది వందలమంది.

30. And of the children of Ephraim, twentie thousand and eight hundred, mightie men of warre, and famous men in the houshoulde of their fathers.

31. మనష్షే యొక్క అర్ధగోత్రపు వారిలో దావీదును రాజుగా చేయుటకై రావలెనని పేరు పేరుగా నియమింపబడినవారు పదునెనిమిదివేలమంది.

31. And of the halfe tribe of Manasse, eyghteene thousand, which were appointed by name to come and make Dauid king.

32. ఇశ్శాఖారీయులలో సమయోచిత జ్ఞానముకలిగి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చేయతగినదేదో దాని నెరిగియున్న అధిపతులు రెండువందలు; వీరి గోత్రపు వారందరును వీరి యాజ్ఞకు బద్ధులైయుండిరి.

32. And of the children of Isachar, which were men that had vnderstanding of the tymes, to knowe what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred: & all their brethren were at their wyll.

33. జెబూలూ నీయులలో సకలవిధమైన యుద్ధాయుధములను ధరించి యుద్ధమునకు పోదగినవారును యుద్ధపు నేర్పుగలవారును మనస్సునందు పొరపులేకుండ యుద్ధము చేయగలవారును ఏబదివేలమంది.

33. And of Zabulon which went out to battaile, expert in warre and in all instrumentes of warre, fiftie thousand, which coulde set the battaile in arraye, they were not of double heart.

34. నఫ్తాలీయులలో వెయ్యిమంది అధిపతులు, వారితోకూడ డాలును ఈటెను పట్టుకొనిన వారు ముప్పది యేడువేలమంది.

34. And of Nephthali a thousand captaines, and with them with shielde and speare thirtie and seuen thousand.

35. దానీయులలో యుద్ధ సన్నద్ధులైన వారు ఇరువది యెనిమిదివేల ఆరు వందల మంది.

35. And of Dan expert in battayle, twentie & eyght thousand and sixe hundred.

36. ఆషేరీయులలో యుద్ధపు నేర్పుగల యుద్ధ సన్నద్ధులు నలువది వేలమంది.

36. And of Aser that went out to the warre and kept the forefront of the battaile fourtie thousand.

37. మరియు యొర్దాను నది అవతలనుండు రూబేనీయులలోను గాదీయులలోను మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపు వారిలోను సకలవిధమైన యుద్ధాయుధములను ధరించు యుద్ధశూరులైన యీ యోధులందరు దావీదును ఇశ్రాయేలుమీద రాజుగా నియమించవలెనన్న కోరిక హృదయమందు కలిగినవారై ఆయుధములను ధరించి హెబ్రోనునకు వచ్చిరి.

37. And of the othersyde of Iordane, of the Rubenites, and Gadites, and of the halfe tribe of Manasse, with all manner of instrumentes of warre, and hundred and twentie thousand.

38. ఇశ్రాయేలులో కడమ వారందరును ఏకమనస్కులై దావీదును రాజుగా నియ మింపవలెనని కోరియుండిరి.

38. All these were men of warre, keping the forefront of the battel [and] with perfecte heart came to Hebron to make Dauid king ouer all Israel: And all the rest of Israel was of one accorde to make Dauid king.

39. వారి సహోదరులు వారికొరకు భోజనపదార్థములను సిద్ధము చేసియుండగా వారు దావీదుతోకూడ అచ్చట మూడు దినములుండి అన్న పానములు పుచ్చుకొనిరి.

39. And there they were with Dauid three dayes eating & drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.

40. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సంతోషము కలిగియుండెను గనుక ఇశ్శాఖారు జెబూలూను నఫ్తాలి అనువారి పొలిమేరలవరకు వారికి సమీపమైనవారు గాడిదలమీదను ఒంటెలమీదను కంచరగాడిదల మీదను ఎద్దుల మీదను ఆహారవస్తువులైన పిండివంటకములను అంజూరపు అడలను ఎండిన ద్రాక్షపండ్ల గెలలను ద్రాక్షారసమును నూనెను గొఱ్ఱెలను పశువులను విస్తార ముగా తీసికొనివచ్చిరి.

40. Moreouer, they that were nye them, euen vnto Isachar, Zabulon, & Nephthali, brought bread on asses, cammels, mules, & oxen, & meate, flowre, figges, reasinges, wine, & oyle, oxen, and sheepe aboundantly: For there was ioy in Israel.
