1. షోమ్రోనులో అహాబునకు డెబ్బదిమంది కుమారు లుండిరి. యెహూ వెంటనే తాకీదులు వ్రాయించి షోమ్రోనులోనుండు యెజ్రెయేలు అధిపతులకును పెద్దల కును అహాబు పిల్లలను పెంచినవారికిని పంపి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చిన దేమనగామీ యజమానుని కుమారులు మీయొద్ద నున్నారు;

1. Ahab had threescore & ten sonnes in Samaria: And Iehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, vnto the rulers of Iezrahel, to the elders, and to them that brought vp Ahabs children, saying:

2. మరియు మీకు రథములును గుఱ్ఱములును ప్రాకారముగల పట్టణమును ఆయుధ సామగ్రియును కలవు గదా

2. Nowe when this letter commeth to you (ye that haue with you your maisters sonnes, ye haue with you both charets and horses, a strong citie haue ye also, and harnesse)

3. కాబట్టి యీ తాకీదు మీకు ముట్టినవెంటనే మీ యజమానుని కుమారులలో ఉత్తముడును తగినవాడునైన యొకని కోరుకొని, తన తండ్రి సింహాసనముమీద అతనిని ఆసీనునిగా చేసి, మీ యజమానుని కుటుంబికుల పక్షమున యుద్ధమాడుడి.

3. Loke which of your maisters sonnes is best and most meete, and set him on his fathers seate, and fight for your lordes house.

4. వారు ఇది విని బహు భయ పడిఇద్దరు రాజులు అతనిముందర నిలువజాలక పోయిరే, మన మెట్లు నిలువగలమని అనుకొని

4. But they were exceedingly afrayde, & sayde: See, two kinges were not able to stande before him: howe shall we then be able to stande?

5. కుటుంబపు అధి కారియు పట్టణపు అధికారియు పెద్దలును పిల్లలను పెంచిన వారును కూడి యెహూకు వర్తమానము పంపిమేము నీ దాసులము; నీ సెలవు ప్రకారము సమస్తము జరిగించెదము; మేము ఎవనిని రాజుగా చేసికొనము; నీ దృష్టికి ఏది అనుకూలమో దాని చేయుమని తెలియజేసిరి.

5. And he that was gouernour of Ahabs house, & he that ruled the citie, the elders also, & the tutours, sent to Iehu, saying: We are thy seruauntes, & will do all that thou shalt byd vs, we wil make no man king: therefore do thou what seemeth good in thyne eyes.

6. అప్పు డతడు రెండవ తాకీదు వ్రాయించిమీరు నా పక్షమున నుండి నా మాట వినుటకు ఒప్పుకొనినయెడల మీ యజ మానుని కుమారుల తలలను తీసికొని, రేపు ఈ వేళకు యెజ్రెయేలునకు నాయొద్దకు రండని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను. డెబ్బది మంది రాజకుమారులును వారిని పెంచిన పట్టణపు పెద్దల యొద్ద ఉండిరి.

6. Then he wrote another letter to them, saying: If ye be myne, and wil hearken vnto my voyce, then take the heades of the men that are your maisters sonnes, and come to me to Iezrahel by to morowe this time: (And the kinges sonnes were threescore and ten persons, and they were with the great men of the citie which brought them vp.)

7. కావున ఆ తాకీదు తమకు ముట్టినప్పుడు వారు డెబ్బదిమంది రాజకుమారులను పట్టుకొని చంపి, వారి తలలను గంపలలో పెట్టి, యెజ్రెయేలులోనున్న అతని యొద్దకు పంపిరి.

7. And when the letter came to them, they toke the kinges children, and slue them, euen threescore and ten persons, & layed their heades in baskettes, and sent them to him to Iezrahel.

8. దూత అతనియొద్దకు వచ్చిరాజకుమా రుల తలలు వచ్చినవని చెప్పగా అతడుఉదయమువరకు ద్వారము బయటిస్థలమందు వాటిని రెండు కుప్పలుగా వేయించుడనెను.

8. And there came a messenger, and told him, saying: They haue brought the heades of the kinges sonnes. And he said: Let them lay them on two heapes in the entring in of the gate, vntill the morning.

9. ఉదయమైనప్పుడు అతడు బయటికి వచ్చి నిలిచి, జనులందరిని చూచిమీరు నిర్దోషులు, నేను నా యజమానునిమీద కుట్రచేసి అతని చంపితిని; అయితే వీరందరిని ఎవరు చంపిరి?

9. And when it was day, he went out, and stoode, and sayde to al the folke, Ye be righteous: Behold, I conspired against my maister, and slue him: But who slue all these?

10. అహాబు కుటుంబికులనుగూర్చి యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాటలలో ఒకటియు నెరవేరక పోదు; తన సేవకుడైన ఏలీయాద్వారా తాను సెలవిచ్చిన మాట యెహోవా నెరవేర్చెనని చెప్పెను.

10. Learne here that there shall fall vnto the earth nothing of the worde of the Lorde, whiche he spake concerning the house of Ahab: For the Lorde hath brought to passe ye thinges that he spake by the hande of his seruaunt Elias.

11. ఈ ప్రకారము యహూ యెజ్రెయేలులో అహాబు కుటుంబికులందరిని, అతని సంబంధులగు గొప్పవారినందరిని అతని బంధువుల నందరిని, అతడు నియమించిన యాజకులను హతముచేసెను; అతనికి ఒకనినైనను ఉండనియ్యలేదు.

11. And so Iehu slue all that remayned of the house of Ahab in Iezrahel, and all that were great with him, and his kinsfolkes, and his priestes, so that he let nothing of him remayne.

12. అప్పుడతడు లేచి ప్రయాణమై షోమ్రోను పట్టణమునకు పోయెను. మార్గ మందు అతడు గొఱ్ఱెవెండ్రుకలు కత్తిరించు ఇంటికి వచ్చి

12. And he arose, & departed, and came to Samaria: And when Iehu was in the way of the house where the sheepheardes dyd sheare their sheepe,

13. యూదారాజైన అహజ్యా సహోదరులను ఎదుర్కొనిమీరు ఎవరని వారి నడుగగా వారుమేము అహజ్యా సహోదరులము; రాజకుమారులను రాణికుమారులను దర్శించుటకు వెళ్లుచున్నామని చెప్పిరి.

13. He met with the brethren of Ahaziahu king of Iuda, and sayde: What are ye? They aunswered: The brethren of Ahaziahu are we, and go downe to salute the children of the king & of the queene.

14. వారిని సజీవులగా పట్టుకొనుడని అతడు చెప్పగా వారు వారిని సజీవులగా పట్టుకొని యొకనినైన విడువక గొఱ్ఱె వెండ్రుకలు కత్తిరించు ఇంటి గోతిదగ్గర నలువది ఇద్దరిని చంపిరి.

14. And he said: Take them alyue. Whom when they had taken them alyue, they slue them at the wel whiche was beside the house where the sheepe are shoren, euen two and fourtie men, neither left he any of them.

15. అచ్చటినుండి అతడు పోయిన తరువాత తన్ను ఎదు ర్కొన వచ్చిన రేకాబు కుమారుడైన యెహోనాదాబును కనుగొని అతనిని కుశలప్రశ్నలడిగినీయెడల నాకున్నట్టుగా నాయెడల నీకున్నదా అని అతని నడుగగా యెహో నాదాబు ఉన్నదనెను. ఆలాగైతే నా చేతిలో చెయ్యి వేయుమని చెప్పగా అతడు ఇతని చేతిలో చెయ్యివేసెను. గనుక యెహూ తన రథముమీద అతనిని ఎక్కించుకొని

15. And when he was departed thence, he met with Iehonadab the sonne of Rechab comming against him, and he blessed him, & sayde to him: Is thyne heart right, as myne heart is true with thine? And Iehonadab aunswered: Yea that it is. Then geue me thyne hand. And when he had geuen him his hande, he toke him vp to him into the charet,

16. యెహోవానుగూర్చి నాకు కలిగిన ఆసక్తిని చూచుటకై నాతోకూడ రమ్మనగా యెహూ రథముమీద వారతని కూర్చుండబెట్టిరి.

16. And sayde: Come with me, and see the zeale that I haue for the Lord. And so they made him ride in his charet.

17. అతడు షోమ్రోనునకు వచ్చి షోమ్రో నులో అహాబునకు శేషించియున్న వారినందరిని చంపి, ఏలీయాకు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాట నెరవేర్చి, అహా బును నిర్మూలము చేయువరకు హతముచేయుట మాన కుండెను.

17. And when he came to Samaria, he slue al that remained vnto Ahab in Samaria, till he had wiped him out, accorcording to the saying of the Lord which he spake to Elias.

18. తరువాత యెహూ జనులందరిని సమకూర్చి వారికీలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను అహాబు బయలు దేవతకు కొద్ది గానే పూజచేసెను. యెహూ అను నేను అధికముగా పూజచేయబోవుచున్నాను,

18. And Iehu gathered all the people together, and sayd vnto them: Ahab serued Baal a litle, but Iehu shall serue him more.

19. కావున ఒకడైనను తప్పకుండ బయలు ప్రవక్తలనందిరిని వాని భక్తులనందరిని వారి యాజ కులనందరిని నాయొద్దకు పిలువనంపించుడి; నేను బయలు నకు గొప్ప బలి అర్పింప బోవుచున్నాను గనుక రానివా డెవడో వాని బ్రదుకనియ్యనని చెప్పెను. అయితే బయలునకు మ్రొక్కువారిని నాశనము చేయుటకై అతడు ఈ ప్రకారము కపటోపాయము చేసెను.

19. Now therfore call vnto me all the prophetes of Baal, all such as serue him, and al his priestes, & let none be lacking: For I haue a great sacrifice to do to Baal, & therefore whosoeuer is missed he shall not lyue. But Iehu dyd it for a sutteltie, to the intent that he might destroy the seruauntes of Baal.

20. మరియు యెహూబయలునకు పండుగ నియమింపబడినదని చాటించుడని ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగా వారాలాగు చాటించిరి.

20. And Iehu sayde: Proclayme an holy conuocation for Baal. And they proclaymed it.

21. యెహూ ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశమంతటిలోనికి వర్తమానము పంపించగా బయలునకు మ్రొక్కు వారందరును వచ్చిరి, రానివాడు ఒకడును లేడు; వారు వచ్చి బయలు గుడిలో ప్రవేశింపగా ఎచ్చటను చోటులేకుండ బయలు గుడి ఈ తట్టునుండి ఆ తట్టువరకు నిండిపోయెను.

21. And Iehu sent vnto all Israel, and al the seruauntes of Baal came, that there was not a man left behind that came not: And they came into the house of Baal, and the house of Baal was full from one ende to another.

22. అప్పుడతడు వస్త్రశాలమీద ఉన్న అధికారిని పిలిచిబయలునకు మ్రొక్కువారి కందరికి వస్త్రములు బయటికి తెప్పించుమని చెప్పగా వాడు తెప్పించెను.

22. And he sayde vnto him that was the keper of the vestrie: Bring foorth garmentes for all the seruauntes of Baal. And he brought them out garmentes.

23. యెహూయును రేకాబు కుమారుడైన యెహోనాదాబును బయలు గుడిలో ప్రవేశింపగా యెహూ యెహోవా భక్తులలో ఒకనినైనను ఇచ్చట మీ యొద్దనుండనియ్యక బయలునకు మ్రొక్కువారుమాత్రమే యుండునట్లు జాగ్రత్తచేయుడని బయలునకు మ్రొక్కువారితో ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

23. And when Iehu went with Iehonadab the sonne of Rechab into the house of Baal, he sayd vnto the seruauntes of Baal: Searche, & loke that ther be here with you none of the seruauntes of the Lord, but the seruauntes of Baal only.

24. బలులను దహనబలులను అర్పించుటకై వారు లోపల ప్రవేశింపగా యెహూ యెనుబది మందిని బయట కావలి యుంచినేను మీ వశముచేసినవారిలో ఒకడైన తప్పించుకొని పోయినయెడల వాని ప్రాణమునకు బదులుగా వాని పోనిచ్చిన వాని ప్రాణముతీతునని వారితో చెప్పి యుండెను.

24. And when they went in to offer sacrifice and burnt offring, Iehu appoynted foure score men without, and sayde: If any of ye men whom I haue brought vnder your handes escape, he that letteth him go, shall dye for him.

25. దహనబలుల నర్పించుట సమాప్తికాగా యెహూమీరు లోపల చొచ్చి యొకడైనను బయటికి రాకుండ వారిని చంపుడని తన కావలివారితోను అధిపతుల తోను చెప్పగా వారు అందరిని హతము చేసిరి. పిమ్మట కావలివారును అధిపతులును వారిని బయటవేసి, బయలు గుడియున్న పట్టణమునకు పోయి

25. And it fortuned, that assoone as he had made an ende of offring the burnt sacrifice, Iehu sayd to the men of warre and to the captaynes: Go in, and slay them, let none come out. And they smote them with the edge of the sword: And the men of warre & the captaynes cast them out, & went to the citie of the temple of Baal,

26. బయలు గుడిలోని నిలువు విగ్రహములను బయటికి తీసికొని వచ్చి వాటిని కాల్చివేసిరి.

26. And set the images out of the temple of Baal, and burnt them.

27. మరియు బయలు ప్రతిమను గుడిని క్రింద పడగొట్టి దానిని పెంటయిల్లుగా చేసిరి. నేటివరకు అది ఆలాగే యున్నది

27. And they brake the image of Baal, and brake the house of Baal, & made a draft house of it vnto this day.

28. ఈ ప్రకారము యెహూ బయలు దేవతను ఇశ్రాయేలువారిమధ్య నుండకుండ నాశనము చేసెను.

28. And so Iehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

29. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము కారకుడైనట్లు యెహూకూడ అందుకు కారకుడై, బేతేలు దాను అను స్థలములందున్న బంగారుదూడలను అనుసరించుట మాన లేదు.

29. But from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nabat whiche made Israel to sinne, Iehu departed not from them [neither from] the golden calues that were in Bethel and in Dan.

30. కావున యెహోవా యెహూతో నీలాగు సెల విచ్చెనునీవు నా హృదయాలోచన యంతటిచొప్పున అహాబు కుటుంబికులకు చేసి నా దృష్టికి న్యాయమైనదాని జరిగించి బాగుగా నెరవేర్చితివి గనుక నీ కుమారులు నాల్గవ తరము వరకు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజ్య సింహాసనముమీద ఆసీనులగుదురు.

30. And the Lorde sayde vnto Iehu: Because thou hast done right wel, in bringing to passe the thing that is right in myne eyes, and hast done vnto the house of Ahab according to all thinges that are in myne heart, therefore shall thy children vnto the fourth generation sit on the seate of Israel.

31. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడైన యరొబాముచేసిన పాపములను యెహూ యేమాత్రమును విసర్జించనివాడై ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నియమించిన ధర్మశాస్త్రమును పూర్ణహృదయముతో అనుసరించుటకు శ్రద్ధాభక్తులు లేని వాడాయెను.

31. But Iehu cared not for this, to walke in the lawe of the Lorde God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam whiche made Israel to sinne.

32. ఆ దినములలో యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని తగ్గించ నారంభించెను.

32. In those dayes the Lorde began to cut Israel short, and Hazael smote them in all the coastes of Israel,

33. హజాయేలు ఇశ్రాయేలు సరిహద్దులలో నున్న యొర్దాను తూర్పుదిక్కున గాదీయులకును రూబె నియులకును చేరికైన గిలాదు దేశమంతటిలోను, అర్నోను నది దగ్గరనున్న అరోయేరు మొదలుకొని మనష్షీయుల దేశములోను, అనగా గిలాదులోను బాషానులోను వారిని ఓడించెను.

33. From Iordane eastward, euen all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, the Rubenites, and them that were of Manasses, from Aroer (which is by the riuer Arnon) euen Gilead and Basan.

34. యెహూచేసిన యితర కార్యములను గూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన దానినంతటినిగూర్చియు, అతని పరాక్రమమునుగూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంత ముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

34. The rest of the wordes that concerne Iehu, and al that he did, & al his power, are they not written in the booke of the cronicles of the kinges of Israel?

35. అంతట యెహూ తన పితరులతోకూడ నిద్రించి షోమ్రోనులో సమాధిచేయబడెను; అతని కుమారుడైన యెహోయాహాజు అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

35. And Iehu slept with his fathers, and they buryed him in Samaria, & Iehoahas his sonne raigned in his steade.

36. షోమ్రోనులో యెహూ ఇశ్రాయేలును ఏలిన కాలము ఇరువది యెనిమిది యేండ్లు.

36. And the time that Iehu raigned vpon Israel in Samaria, is twentie & eyght yeres.
