1. నెబాతు కుమారుడును రాజునైన యరొబాము ఏలు బడిలో పదునెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున అబీయాము యూదా వారిని ఏలనారంభించెను.

1. And in the eighteenth yeere of King Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, reigned Abiiam ouer Iudah.

2. అతడు మూడు సంవత్సరములు యెరూషలేమునందు రాజుగా ఉండెను; అతని తల్లి పేరు మయకా; ఆమె అబీషాలోము కుమార్తె.

2. Three yeere reigned hee in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.

3. అతడు తన తండ్రి పూర్వము అనుసరించిన పాపమార్గములన్నిటిలో నడిచెను; తన పితరుడైన దావీదు హృదయము తన దేవుడైన యెహోవాయెడల యథార్థముగా ఉన్నట్లు అతని హృదయము యథార్థముగా ఉండలేదు.

3. And hee walked in all the sinnes of his father, which hee had done before him: and his heart was not perfit with the Lord his God as the heart of Dauid his father.

4. దావీదు హిత్తీయుడైన ఊరియా సంగతియందు తప్ప తన జీవిత దినములన్నియు యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థముగా నడుచు కొనుచు, యెహోవా అతనికిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలలో దేని విషయ మందును తప్పిపోకుండెను గనుక

4. But for Dauids sake did the Lord his God giue him a light in Ierusalem, and set vp his sonne after him, and established Ierusalem,

5. దావీదు నిమిత్తము అతని తరువాత అతని కుమారుని నిలుపుటకును, యెరూష లేమును స్థిరపరచుటకును, అతని దేవుడైన యెహోవా యెరూషలేమునందు దావీదునకు దీపముగా అతని ఉండ నిచ్చెను.

5. Because Dauid did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and turned from nothing that he commanded him, all the dayes of his life, saue onely in the matter of Vriah the Hittite.

6. రెహబాము బ్రదికిన దినములన్నియు అతనికిని యరొబామునకును యుద్ధము జరుగుచుండెను.

6. And there was warre betweene Rehoboam and Ieroboam as long as he liued.

7. అబీ యాము చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన వాటన్నిటినిగూర్చియు యూదారాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది. అబీయామునకును యరొబామునకును యుద్ధము కలిగి యుండెను.

7. The rest also of the actes of Abiiam, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? there was also warre betweene Abiiam, and Ieroboam.

8. అబీయాము తన పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించగా వారు దావీదు పురమందు అతనిని సమాధిచేసిరి; అతని కుమారుడైన ఆసా అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

8. And Abiiam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the citie of Dauid: and Asa his sonne reigned in his steade.

9. ఇశ్రాయేలువారికి రాజైన యరొబాము ఏలుబడియందు ఇరువదియవ సంవత్సరమున ఆసా యూదావారిని ఏల నారంభించెను.

9. And in the twentie yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel reigned Asa ouer Iudah.

10. అతడు నలువదియొక సంవత్సరములుయెరూషలేమునందు ఏలుచుండెను. అతని అవ్వపేరు మయకా, యీమె అబీషాలోము కుమార్తె.

10. He reigned in Ierusalem one and fourtie yeere, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.

11. ఆసా తన పితరుడైన దావీదువలె యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థముగా నడుచుకొని

11. And Asa did right in the eyes of the Lord, as did Dauid his father.

12. పురుషగాములను దేశములోనుండి వెళ్ల గొట్టి తన పితరులు చేయించిన విగ్రహములన్నిటిని పడ గొట్టెను.

12. And he tooke away the Sodomites out of the lande, and put away all the idoles that his fathers had made.

13. మరియు తన అవ్వ యైన మయకా అసహ్యమైన యొకదాని చేయించి, దేవతాస్తంభము ఒకటి నిలుపగా ఆసా ఆ విగ్రహమును ఛిన్నాభిన్నములుగా కొట్టించి, కిద్రోను ఓరను దాని కాల్చివేసి ఆమె పట్టపుదేవికాకుండ ఆమెను తొలగించెను.

13. And he put downe Maachah his mother also from her estate, because shee had made an idole in a groue: and Asa destroyed her idoles, and burnt them by the brooke Kidron.

14. ఆసా తన దినములన్నియు హృదయపూర్వకముగా యెహోవాను అనుసరించెను గాని ఉన్నత స్థలములను తీసివేయకపోయెను.

14. But they put not downe the hie places. Neuertheles Asas heart was vpright with the Lord all his dayes.

15. మరియు అతడు తన తండ్రి ప్రతిష్ఠించిన వస్తువులను తాను ప్రతిష్ఠించిన వస్తువులను, వెండియు బంగారమును ఉపకరణములను యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి తెప్పించెను.

15. Also he brought in the holy vessels of his father, and the things that he had dedicated vnto ye house of the Lord, siluer, and golde, and vessels.

16. వారు బ్రదికిన దినములన్నిటను ఆసాకును ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజైన బయె షాకును యుద్ధము జరుగుచుండెను.

16. And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel all their dayes.

17. ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజైన బయెషా యూదావారికి విరోధియై యుండి, యూదా రాజైన ఆసాయొద్దనుండి యెవరును రాకుండను అతని యొద్దకు ఎవరును పోకుండను, రామాపట్టణమును కట్టిం చెను.

17. Then Baasha king of Israel went vp against Iudah, and buylt Ramah, so that he woulde let none go out or in to Asa King of Iudah.

18. కాబట్టి ఆసా యెహోవా మందిరపు ఖజానాలోను రాజనగరుయొక్క ఖజానాలోను శేషించిన వెండి అంతయు బంగారమంతయు తీసి తన సేవకులచేతి కప్ప గించి, హెజ్యోనునకు పుట్టిన టబ్రిమ్మోను కుమారుడును దమస్కులో నివాసము చేయుచు అరామునకు రాజునైయున్న బెన్హదదుకు పంపి మనవి చేసినదేమనగా

18. Then Asa tooke all the siluer and the gold that was left in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the kings house, and deliuered them into the handes of his seruantes, and King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the sonne of Tabrimon, the sonne of Hezion king of Aram that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

19. నీ తండ్రికిని నా తండ్రికిని సంధి కలిగియున్నట్లు నీకును నాకును సంధి కలిగి యుండవలెను గనుక వెండి బంగార ములను నీకు కానుకగా పంపించుచున్నాను; నీవు వచ్చి ఇశ్రా యేలు రాజైన బయెషా నాయొద్దనుండి తిరిగిపోవునట్లు నీకును అతనికిని కలిగిన నిబంధనను తప్పింపవలెను.

19. There is a couenant betweene me and thee, and betweene my father and thy father: behold, I haue sent vnto thee a present of siluer and golde: come, breake thy couenant with Baasha King of Israel, that he may depart from me.

20. కాబట్టి బెన్హదదు రాజైన ఆసా చెప్పిన మాటకు సమ్మతించి తన సైన్యముల అధిపతులను ఇశ్రాయేలు పట్టణముల మీదికి పంపి ఈయోనును దానును ఆబేల్బేత్మయకాను కిన్నెరెతును నఫ్తాలీ దేశమును పట్టుకొని కొల్లపెట్టెను.

20. So Ben-hadad hearkened vnto King Asa, and sent the captaines of the hosts, which he had, against the cities of Israel, and smote lion, and Dan, and Abel-beth-maachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

21. అది బయెషాకు వర్తమానము కాగా రామాపట్టణము కట్టుట మాని తిర్సాకు పోయి నివాసము చేసెను.

21. And when Baasha heard thereof, hee left buylding of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.

22. అప్పుడు రాజైన ఆసా యెవరును నిలిచిపోకుండ యూదాదేశపు వారందరు రావలెనని ప్రకటన చేయగా జనులు సమకూడి బయెషా కట్టించుచుండిన రామాపట్టణపు రాళ్లను కఱ్ఱలను ఎత్తికొని వచ్చిరి. రాజైన ఆసా వాటి చేత బెన్యామీను సంబంధమైన గెబను మిస్పాను కట్టించెను.

22. Then king Asa assembled al Iudah, none excepted. and they tooke the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had buylt, and King Asa built with them Geba of Beniamin and Mizpah.

23. ఆసా చేసిన యితర కార్యములను గూర్చియు, అతని బలమంతటిని గూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన సమస్తమునుగూర్చియు, అతడు కట్టించిన పట్టణములనుగూర్చియు యూదారాజుల వృత్తాం తముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది. అతడు వృద్ధుడైన తరువాత అతని పాదములయందు రోగముపుట్టెను.

23. And the rest of all the actes of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he buylt, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? but in his olde age he was diseased in his feete.

24. అంతట ఆసా తన పితరులతోకూడ నిద్రించి, తన పితరుడైన దావీదు పురమందు తన పితరుల సమాధిలో పాతిపెట్టబడెను; అతనికి మారుగా యెహోషాపాతు అను అతని కుమారుడు రాజాయెను.

24. And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father. And Iehoshaphat his sonne reigned in his steade.

25. యరొబాము కుమారుడైన నాదాబు యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో రెండవ సంవత్సరమందు ఇశ్రాయేలు వారిని ఏలనారంభించి ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని రెండు సంవత్సర ములు ఏలెను.

25. And Nadab the sonne of Ieroboam began to reigne ouer Israel the second yere of Asa King of Iudah, and reigned ouer Israel two yeere.

26. అతడు యెహోవా దృష్టికి కీడుచేసి తన తండ్రి నడిచిన మార్గమందు నడిచి, అతడు దేనిచేత ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకై కారకుడాయెనో ఆ పాపమును అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించెను.

26. And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of his father, and in his sinne wherewith he made Israel to sinne.

27. ఇశ్శాఖారు ఇంటి సంబంధుడును అహీయా కుమారుడునైన బయెషా అతనిమీద కుట్రచేసెను. నాదాబును ఇశ్రాయేలు వారందరును ఫిలిష్తీయుల సంబంధమైన గిబ్బెతోనునకు ముట్టడి వేయుచుండగా గిబ్బెతోనులో బయెషా అతని చంపెను.

27. And Baasha the sonne of Ahijah of ye house of Issachar conspired against him, and Baasha slue him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims: for Nadab and all Israel layde siege to Gibbethon.

28. రాజైన ఆసాయేలుబడిలో మూడవ సంవత్సరమందు బయెషా అతని చంపి అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

28. Euen in the third yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his steade.

29. తాను రాజు కాగానే ఇతడు యరొబాము సంతతి వారి నందరిని హతముచేసెను; ఎవనినైన యరొబామునకు సజీవు నిగా ఉండనియ్యక అందరిని నశింపజేసెను. తన సేవకుడైన షిలోనీయుడైన అహీయాద్వారా యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన ప్రకారముగా ఇది జరిగెను.

29. And when he was King, he smote all the house of Ieroboam, he left none aliue to Ieroboam, vntill hee had destroyed him, according to the word of the Lord which he spake by his seruant Ahijah the Shilonite,

30. తాను చేసిన పాప ములచేత ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపముచేయుటకు కారకుడై యరొబాము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టింపగా ఈలాగున జరిగెను.

30. Because of the sinnes of Ieroboam which he committed, and wherewith he made Israel to sinne, by his prouocation, wherewith he prouoked the Lord God of Israel.

31. నాదాబు చేసిన ఇతర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసినదాని నంతటిని గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

31. And the residue of the actes of Nadab, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

32. వారి దినములన్నిటను ఆసా కును ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజైన బయెషాకును యుద్ధము జరుగు చుండెను.

32. And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel, all their dayes.

33. యూదారాజైన ఆసా యేలుబడిలో మూడవ సంవ త్సరమందు అహీయా కుమారుడైన బయెషా తిర్సాయందు ఇశ్రాయేలువారినందరిని ఏలనారంభించి యిరువది నాలుగు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.

33. In the thirde yeere of Asa King of Iudah, began Baasha the sonne of Ahijah to reigne ouer all Israel in Tirzah, and reigned foure and twentie yeeres.

34. ఇతడు యెహోవా దృష్టికి కీడుచేసి యరొబాము దేనిచేత ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడాయెనో దానినంతటిని అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించెను.

34. And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of Ieroboam, and in his sinne, wherewith he made Israel to sinne.
