1. నరులు భూమిమీద విస్తరింప నారంభించిన తరువాత కుమార్తెలు వారికి పుట్టినప్పుడు

1. [ 6:2] And it came to pass when men began to be numerous upon the earth, and daughters were born to them,

2. దేవుని కుమారులు నరుల కుమార్తెలు చక్కనివారని చూచి వారందరిలో తమకు మనస్సువచ్చిన స్త్రీలను వివాహము చేసికొనిరి.

2. [ 6:3] that the sons of God, having seen the daughters of men, that they were beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose.

3. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నా ఆత్మ నరులతో ఎల్లప్పుడును వాదించదు; వారు తమ అక్రమ విషయములో నరమాత్రులై యున్నారు; అయినను వారి దినములు నూట ఇరువది యేండ్లగుననెను.

3. [ 6:4] And the Lord God said, My Spirit shall certainly not remain among these men forever, because they are flesh, but their days shall be one hundred and twenty years.

4. ఆ దినములలో నెఫీలులను వారు భూమి మీదనుండిరి; తరువాతను ఉండిరి. దేవుని కుమారులు నరుల కుమార్తెలతో పోయినప్పుడు వారికి పిల్లలను కనిరి. పూర్వకాలమందు పేరు పొందిన శూరులు వీరే.

4. [ 6:5] Now the giants were upon the earth in those days; and after that when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, they bore [children] to them, those were the giants of old, the men of renown.

5. నరుల చెడుతనము భూమిమీద గొప్పదనియు, వారి హృదయము యొక్క తలంపులలోని ఊహ అంతయు ఎల్లప్పుడు కేవలము చెడ్డదనియు యెహోవా చూచి

5. [ 6:6] And the Lord God, having seen that the wicked actions of men were multiplied upon the earth, and that everyone in his heart was intently brooding over evil continually,

6. తాను భూమిమీద నరులను చేసినందుకు యెహోవా సంతాపము నొంది తన హృదయములో నొచ్చుకొనెను.

6. [ 6:7] that God took it to heart that He had made man upon the earth, and He pondered it deeply.

7. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నేను సృజించిన నరులును నరులతోకూడ జంతువులును పురుగులును ఆకాశ పక్ష్యాదులును భూమిమీద నుండకుండ తుడిచివేయుదును; ఏలయనగా నేను వారిని సృష్టించినందుకు సంతాపము నొందియున్నాననెను

7. [ 6:8] And God said, I will blot out man whom I have made from the face of the earth, even man and beast, and reptiles with flying creatures of the sky, for I am grieved that I have made them.

8. అయితే నోవహు యెహోవా దృష్టియందు కృప పొందినవాడాయెను.

8. [ 6:9] But Noah found grace before the Lord God.

9. నోవహు వంశావళి యిదే. నోవహు నీతిపరుడును తన తరములో నిందారహితుడునై యుండెను. నోవహు దేవునితో కూడ నడచినవాడు.

9. [ 6:10] And these are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man; being perfect in his generation; Noah was well pleasing to God.

10. షేము, హాము, యాపెతను ముగ్గురు కుమారులను నోవహు కనెను.

10. [ 6:11] And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11. భూలోకము దేవుని సన్నిధిని చెడిపోయియుండెను; భూలోకము బలాత్కారముతో నిండియుండెను.

11. [ 6:12] But the earth was corrupted before God, and the earth was filled with iniquity.

12. దేవుడు భూలోకమును చూచినప్పుడు అది చెడిపోయి యుండెను; భూమిమీద సమస్త శరీరులు తమ మార్గమును చెరిపివేసుకొని యుండిరి.

12. [ 6:13] And the Lord God saw the earth, that it was corrupted; because all flesh had corrupted its way upon the earth.

13. దేవుడు నోవహుతో సమస్త శరీరుల మూలముగా భూమి బలాత్కారముతో నిండియున్నది గనుక నా సన్నిధిని వారి అంతము వచ్చియున్నది; ఇదిగో వారిని భూమితోకూడ నాశనము చేయుదును.

13. [ 6:14] And the Lord God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me; because the earth has been filled with iniquity by them, and behold, I shall destroy them and the earth.

14. చితిసారకపు మ్రానుతో నీకొరకు ఓడను చేసికొనుము. అరలు పెట్టి ఆ ఓడను చేసి లోపటను వెలుపటను దానికి కీలు పూయవలెను.

14. [ 6:15] Therefore make for yourself an ark of square timber; you shall make the ark in compartments, and you shall pitch it within and without with pitch.

15. నీవు దాని చేయవలసిన విధమిది; ఆ ఓడ మూడువందల మూరల పొడుగును ఏబది మూరల వెడల్పును ముప్పది మూరల యెత్తును గలదై యుండవలెను.

15. [ 6:16] And thus shall you make the ark; three hundred cubits the length of the ark, and fifty cubits the breadth, and thirty cubits the height of it.

16. ఆ ఓడకు కిటికీ చేసి పైనుండి మూరెడు క్రిందికి దాని ముగించవలెను; ఓడ తలుపు దాని ప్రక్కను ఉంచవలెను; క్రింది అంతస్థు రెండవ అంతస్థు మూడవ అంతస్థు గలదిగా దాని చేయవలెను.

16. [ 6:17] You shall narrow the ark in making it, and in a cubit above you shall finish it, and the door of the ark you shall make on the side; with lower, second, and third stories you shall make it.

17. ఇదిగో నేనే జీవ వాయువుగల సమస్త శరీరులను ఆకాశముక్రింద నుండకుండ నాశము చేయుటకు భూమిమీదికి జలప్రవాహము రప్పించుచున్నాను. లోకమందున్న సమస్తమును చనిపోవును;

17. [ 6:18] And behold, I shall bring a flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life under heaven, and whatsoever things are upon the earth shall die.

18. అయితే నీతో నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరచుదును; నీవును నీతోకూడ నీ కుమారులును నీ భార్యయు నీ కోడండ్రును ఆ ఓడలో ప్రవేశింపవలెను.

18. [ 6:19] And I will establish My covenant with you, and you shall enter into the ark, and your sons and your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

19. మరియు నీతోకూడ వాటిని బ్రదికించి యుంచుకొనుటకు సమస్త జీవులలో, అనగా సమస్త శరీరులయొక్క ప్రతి జాతిలోనివి రెండేసి చొప్పున నీవు ఓడలోనికి తేవలెను; వాటిలో మగదియు ఆడుదియు నుండవలెను.

19. [ 6:20] And of all cattle and of all reptiles and of all wild beasts, even of all flesh, you shall bring by pairs of all, into the ark, that you may feed them with yourself: male and female they shall be.

20. నీవు వాటిని బ్రది కించి యుంచుకొనుటకై వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము పక్షులలోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము జంతువుల లోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము నేలను ప్రాకు వాటన్నిటిలోను, ప్రతి జాతిలో రెండేసి చొప్పున నీ యొద్దకు అవి వచ్చును.

20. [ 6:21] Of all winged birds after their kind, and of all cattle after their kind, and of all reptiles creeping upon the earth after their kind, pairs of all shall come in to you, male and female, to be fed with you.

21. మరియు తినుటకు నానావిధములైన ఆహారపదార్థములను కూర్చుకొని నీ దగ్గర ఉంచుకొనుము; అవి నీకును వాటికిని ఆహారమగునని చెప్పెను.

21. [ 6:22] And you shall take to yourself of all kinds of food which you eat, and you shall gather them to yourself, and it shall be for you and them to eat.

22. నోవహు అట్లు చేసెను; దేవుడు అతని కాజ్ఞాపించిన ప్రకారము యావత్తు చేసెను.

22. [ 6:23] And Noah did everything that the Lord God commanded him.
