1. యోసేపు తన తండ్రి ముఖముమీద పడి అతని గూర్చి యేడ్చి అతని ముద్దుపెట్టుకొనెను.

1. The fell Ioseph vpon his fathers face, and wepte, and kyssed him.

2. తరువాత యోసేపు సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో తన తండ్రి శవమును సిద్ధపరచవలెనని తన దాసులైన వైద్యులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను గనుక ఆ వైద్యులు ఇశ్రాయేలును సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో సిద్ధపరచిరి.

2. And Ioseph comauded his seruautes ye Phisicias, to embawme his father. And the Phisicians embawmed Israel,

3. సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో సిద్ధపరచబడువారి కొరకు దినములు సంపూర్ణమగునట్లు అతనికొరకు నలుబది దినములు సంపూర్ణమాయెను. అతనిగూర్చి ఐగుప్తీయులు డెబ్బది దినములు అంగలార్చిరి.

3. tyll fourtye dayes were ended (for so longe endured the dayes of embawminge) & the Egipcians bewayled him seuentye dayes.

4. అతనిగూర్చిన అంగలార్పు దినములు గడచిన తరువాత యోసేపు ఫరో యింటి వారితో మాటలాడి - మీ కటాక్షము నామీద నున్నయెడల మీరు అనుగ్రహించి నా మనవి ఫరో చెవిని వేసి

4. Now whan the mournynge dayes were ended, Ioseph spake vnto Pharaos housholde, & sayde: Yf I haue founde fauor in youre sight, the speake vnto Pharao and saie:

5. నా తండ్రి నాచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించి - ఇదిగో నేను చనిపోవుచున్నాను, కనానులో నా నిమిత్తము సమాధి త్రవ్వించితిని గదా, అందులోనే నన్ను పాతిపెట్టవలెనని చెప్పెను. కాబట్టి సెలవైతే నేనక్కడికి వెళ్లి నా తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టి మరల వచ్చెదనని చెప్పుడనెను.

5. My father hath taken an ooth of me, & sayde: Beholde, I dye, burye me in myne owne graue, which I dygged for myself in the lade of Canaan. Therfore wyl I now go vp, and burye my father, and come agayne.

6. అందుకు ఫరో అతడు నీచేత చేయించిన ప్రమాణము చొప్పున వెళ్లి నీ తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుమని సెలవిచ్చెను.

6. Pharao saide: Go thy waye vp, and burye thy father, acordinge as thou hast sworne vnto him.

7. కాబట్టి యోసేపు తన తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుటకు పోయెను; అతనితో ఫరో యింటి పెద్దలైన అతని సేవకులందరును ఐగుప్తు దేశపు పెద్దలందరును

7. So Ioseph wete vp, to burye his father. And there wete wt him all Pharaos seruautes yt were the elders of his courte, and all ye elders of the lande of Egipte,

8. యోసేపు యింటివారందరును అతని సహోదరులును అతని తండ్రి ఇంటివారును వెళ్లిరి. వారు తమ పిల్లలను తమ గొఱ్ఱెల మందలను తమ పశువులను మాత్రము గోషెను దేశములో విడిచిపెట్టిరి.

8. & all Iosephs housholde, and his brethren, and his fathers housholde. Onely their children, shepe & oxen left they in ye lade of Gosen,

9. మరియు రథములును రౌతులును అతనితో వెళ్లినందున ఆ సమూహము బహు విస్తారమాయెను.

9. & toke their iourney vp with him, vpo charettes and horses, and the company was exceadinge greate.

10. యెర్దానునకు అవతలనున్న ఆఠదు కళ్లమునొద్దకు చేరి అక్కడ బహు ఘోరముగా అంగలార్చిరి. అతడు తన తండ్రిని గూర్చి యేడు దినములు దుఃఖము సలిపెను.

10. Now whan these came to the playne of Atad yt lyeth beyonde Iordane, they made there a very greate and bytter lamentacion, & he mourned for his father seue dayes.

11. ఆ దేశమందు నివసించిన కనానీయులు ఆఠదు కళ్లము నొద్ద ఆ దుఃఖము సలుపుట చూచి - ఐగుప్తీయులకు ఇది మిక్కటమైన దుఃఖమని చెప్పుకొనిరి గనుక దానికి ఆబేల్‌ మిస్రాయిము అను పేరు పెట్టబడెను, అది యొర్దానునకు అవతల నున్నది.

11. And wha the people in the lande (the Cananites) sawe the mournynge in the playne of Atad, they sayde: The Egipcias make there greate lametacion. Therfore is the place called: The lamentacion of the Egipcians, which lyeth beyonde Iordane.

12. అతని కుమారులు తన విషయమై అతడు వారి కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు చేసిరి.

12. And his children dyd as he had comaunded them,

13. అతని కుమారులు కనాను దేశమునకు అతని శవమును తీసికొనిపోయి మక్పేలా పొలమందున్న గుహలో పాతి పెట్టిరి. దానిని ఆ పొలమును అబ్రాహాము తనకు శ్మశానముకొరకు స్వాస్థ్యముగానుండు నిమిత్తము మమ్రే యెదుట హిత్తెయుడైన ఎఫ్రోను యొద్ద కొనెను

13. and caried him to ye lande of Canaan, and buried him in ye dubble caue, that Abraham bought with the felde for a possession to bury in, of Ephron ye Hethite ouer ageynst Mamre.

14. యోసేపు తన తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టిన తరువాత అతడును అతని సహోదరులును అతని తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్ట వెళ్లిన వారందరును తిరిగి ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

14. So Ioseph toke his iourney agayne in to Egipte with his brethren, and with all those that wente vp with him to burye his father, whan they had buried him.

15. యోసేపు సహోదరులు తమ తండ్రి మృతిపొందుట చూచి ఒకవేళ యోసేపు మనయందు పగపట్టి మన మతనికి చేసిన కీడంతటి చొప్పున మనకు నిశ్చయముగా కీడు జరిగించుననుకొని

15. But Iosephs brethre were afrayed, wha their father was deed, and sayde: Ioseph might happly haue indignacion at vs, and recompense vs all the euell that we dyd vnto him,

16. యోసేపునకు ఈలాగు వర్తమాన మంపిరి

16. therfore let they saye vnto him: Thy father commaunded before his death, and sayde:

17. - నీ తండ్రి తాను చావక మునుపు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన దేమనగా - మీరు యోసేపుతో నీ సహోదరులు నీకు కీడు చేసిరి గనుక దయచేసి వారి అపరాధమును వారి పాపమును క్షమించుమని అతనితో చెప్పుడనెను. కాబట్టి దయచేసి నీ తండ్రి దేవుని దాసులా అపరాధము క్షమించుమనిరి. వారు యోసేపుతో ఈలాగు మాటలాడుచుండగా అతడు ఏడ్చెను.

17. Thus shal ye saye vnto Ioseph: O forgeue thy brethren the offence and their synne, that they dyd so euell vnto the. O forgeue now this trespace of vs the seruauntes of thy fathers God. But Ioseph wepte, whan they spake so vnto him.

18. మరియు అతని సహోదరులు పోయి అతని యెదుట సాగిలపడి ఇదిగో - మేము నీకు దాసులమని చెప్పగా

18. And his brethren wente, and fell downe before him, and sayde: Beholde, here are we thy seruauntes.

19. యోసేపు - భయపడకుడి, నేను దేవుని స్థానమందున్నానా?

19. Ioseph sayde vnto the: Feare ye not, for I am vnder God.

20. మీరు నాకు కీడుచేయ నుద్దేశించితిరి గాని నేటి దినమున జరుగుచున్నట్లు, అనగా బహు ప్రజలను బ్రదికించునట్లుగా అది మేలుకే దేవుడు ఉద్దేశించెను.

20. Ye thought euell ouer me, but God hath turned it vnto good, to do as it is come to passe this daye, for the sauynge of moch people.

21. కాబట్టి భయపడకుడి, నేను మిమ్మును మీ పిల్లలను పోషించెదనని చెప్పి వారిని ఆదరించి వారితో ప్రీతిగా మాటలాడెను.

21. Therfore be not ye now afrayed, I wyl care for you and youre children. And he comforted them, and spake louyngly vnto them.

22. యోసేపు అతని తండ్రి కుటుంబపువారును ఐగుప్తులో నివసించిరి, యోసేపు నూటపది సంవత్సరములు బ్రదికెను.

22. Thus dwelt Ioseph in Egipte with his fathers house, and lyued an hudreth and ten yeare,

23. యోసేపు ఎఫ్రాయిముయొక్క మూడవతరము పిల్లలను చూచెను; మరియు మనష్షే కుమారుడైన మాకీరునకు కుమారులు పుట్టి యోసేపు ఒడిలో ఉంచబడిరి.

23. and sawe Ephrayms children, vnto ye thirde generacion: In like maner the children of Machir the sonne of Manasses, begat children also vpon Iosephs lappe.

24. యోసేపు తన సహోదరులను చూచి - నేను చనిపోవుచున్నాను; దేవుడు నిశ్చయముగా మిమ్మును చూడవచ్చి, యీ దేశములోనుండి తాను అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో ప్రమాణము చేసియిచ్చిన దేశమునకు మిమ్మును తీసికొని పోవునని చెప్పెను
హెబ్రీయులకు 11:22

24. And Ioseph sayde vnto his brethren: I dye, and God wyl vyset you, and brynge you out of this lande, to the lande that he sware vnto Abraham, Isaac and Iacob.

25. మరియు యోసేపు దేవుడు నిశ్చయముగా మిమ్మును చూడవచ్చును; అప్పుడు మీరు నా యెముకలను ఇక్కడనుండి తీసికొని పోవలెనని చెప్పి ఇశ్రాయేలు కుమారులచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించుకొనెను.

25. Therfore toke he an ooth of the childre of Israel, and sayde: Whan God shal vyset you, the cary my bones fro hence.

26. యోసేపు నూటపది సంవత్సరములవాడై మృతి పొందెను. వారు సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో అతని శవమును సిద్ధపరచి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఒక పెట్టెలో ఉంచిరి.

26. So Ioseph dyed, wha he was an hudreth and ten yeare olde, and they embawmed him, & layed him in a chest in Egipte.
