1. యాకోబు తన కుమారులను పిలిపించి యిట్లనెను. మీరు కూడిరండి, అంత్యదినములలో మీకు సంభవింపబోవు సంగతులను మీకు తెలియచేసెదను.

1. Then Iaakob called his sonnes, and sayde, Gather your selues together, that I may tell you what shall come to you in the last dayes.

2. యాకోబు కుమారులారా, కూడివచ్చి ఆలకించుడి మీ తండ్రియైన ఇశ్రాయేలు మాట వినుడి.

2. Gather your selues together, and heare, ye sonnes of Iaakob, and hearken vnto Israel your father.

3. రూబేనూ, నీవు నా పెద్ద కుమారుడవు నా శక్తియు నా బలముయొక్క ప్రథమఫలమును ఔన్నత్యాతిశయమును బలాతిశయమును నీవే.

3. Reuben mine eldest sonne, thou art my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellencie of dignitie, and the excellencie of power:

4. నీళ్లవలె చంచలుడవై నీవు అతిశయము పొందవు నీ తండ్రి మంచముమీది కెక్కితివి దానిని అపవిత్రము చేసితివి అతడు నా మంచముమీది కెక్కెను.

4. Thou wast light as water: thou shalt not be excellent, because thou wentest vp to thy fathers bed: then diddest thou defile my bed, thy dignitie is gone.

5. Simeon and Leui, brethren in euill, the instruments of crueltie are in their habitations.

6. Into their secret let not my soule come: my glory, be not thou ioyned with their assembly: for in their wrath they slew a man, and in their selfe will they digged downe a wall.

7. Cursed be their wrath, for it was fierce, and their rage, for it was cruell: I will deuide them in Iaakob, and scatter them in Israel.

8. యూదా, నీ సహోదరులు నిన్ను స్తుతించెదరు నీ చెయ్యి నీ శత్రువుల మెడమీద ఉండును నీ తండ్రి కుమారులు నీ యెదుట సాగిలపడుదురు.

8. Thou Iudah, thy brethre shall praise thee: thine hande shalbe in the necke of thine enemies: thy fathers sonnes shall bowe downe vnto thee.

9. యూదా కొదమ సింహము నా కుమారుడా, నీవు పట్టినదాని తిని వచ్చితివి సింహమువలెను గర్జించు ఆడు సింహమువలెను అతడు కాళ్లు ముడుచుకొని పండుకొనెను అతని లేపువాడెవడు?

9. Iudah, as a Lions whelpe shalt thou come vp from the spoyle, my sonne. He shall lye downe and couche as a Lion, and as a Lionesse: Who shall stirre him vp?

10. The scepter shall not depart from Iudah, nor a Lawegiuer from betweene his feete, vntill Shiloh come, and the people shall be gathered vnto him.

11. He shall binde his Asse foale vnto ye vine, and his Asses colte vnto the best vine. hee shall wash his garment in wine, and his cloke in the blood of grapes.

12. అతని కన్నులు ద్రాక్షారసముచేత ఎఱ్ఱగాను అతని పళ్లు పాలచేత తెల్లగాను ఉండును.

12. His eyes shalbe red with wine, and his teeth white with milke.

13. జెబూలూను సముద్రపు రేవున నివసించును అతడు ఓడలకు రేవుగా ఉండును అతని పొలిమేర సీదోనువరకు నుండును.

13. Zebulun shall dwell by the sea side, and he shalbe an hauen for shippes: and his border shalbe vnto Zidon.

14. ఇశ్శాఖారు రెండు దొడ్ల మధ్యను పండుకొనియున్న బలమైన గార్దభము.

14. Issachar shalbe a strong asse, couching downe betweene two burdens:

15. అతడు విశ్రాంతి మంచిదగుటయు ఆ భూమి రమ్యమైనదగుటయు చూచెను గనుక అతడు మోయుటకు భుజము వంచుకొని వెట్టిచేయు దాసుడగును.

15. And he shall see that rest is good, and that the land is pleasant, and he shall bow his shoulder to beare, and shalbe subiect vnto tribute.

16. దాను ఇశ్రాయేలు గోత్రికులవలె తన ప్రజలకు న్యాయము తీర్చును.

16. Dan shall iudge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.

17. దాను త్రోవలో సర్పముగాను దారిలో కట్లపాముగాను ఉండును. అది గుఱ్ఱపు మడిమెలు కరచును అందువలన ఎక్కువాడు వెనుకకు పడును.

17. Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder by the path, byting the horse heeles, so that his rider shall fall backward.

18. యెహోవా, నీ రక్షణకొరకు కనిపెట్టి యున్నాను.

18. O Lord, I haue waited for thy saluation.

19. బంటుల గుంపు గాదును కొట్టును అతడు మడిమెను కొట్టును.

19. Gad, an hoste of men shall ouercome him, but he shall ouercome at the last.

20. ఆషేరునొద్ద శ్రేష్ఠమైన ఆహారము కలదు రాజులకు తగిన మధుర పదార్థములను అతడిచ్చును.

20. Concerning Asher, his bread shalbe fat, and he shall giue pleasures for a king.

21. నఫ్తాలి విడువబడిన లేడి అతడు ఇంపైనమాటలు పలుకును.

21. Naphtali shalbe a hinde let goe, giuing goodly wordes.

22. యోసేపు ఫలించెడి కొమ్మ ఊట యొద్ద ఫలించెడి కొమ్మ దాని రెమ్మలు గోడమీదికి ఎక్కి వ్యాపించును.

22. Ioseph shalbe a fruitefull bough, euen a fruitful bough by the well side: the small boughs shall runne vpon the wall.

23. విలుకాండ్రు అతని వేధించిరి వారు బాణములను వేసి అతని హింసించిరి.

23. And the archers grieued him, and shotte against him and hated him.

24. యాకోబు కొలుచు పరాక్రమశాలియైనవాని హస్తబలమువలన అతని విల్లు బలమైనదగును. ఇశ్రాయేలునకు బండయు మేపెడివాడును ఆయనే. నీకు సహాయము చేయు నీ తండ్రి దేవునివలనను పైనుండి మింటి దీవెనలతోను

24. But his bowe abode strong, and the hands of his armes were strengthened, by the handes of the mighty God of Iaakob, of whom was the feeder appointed, by the stone of Israel,

25. క్రింద దాగియున్న అగాధజలముల దీవెనలతోను స్తనముల దీవెనలతోను గర్భముల దీవెనలతోను నిన్ను దీవించు సర్వశక్తుని దీవెనవలనను అతని బాహుబలము దిట్టపరచబడును

25. Euen by the God of thy father, who shall helpe thee, and by the almightie, who shall blesse thee with heauenly blessinges from aboue, with blessings of the deepe, that lyeth beneath, with blessings of the brestes, and of the wombe.

26. నీ తండ్రి దీవెనలు నా పూర్వికుల దీవెనలపైని చిరకాల పర్వతములకంటె హెచ్చుగ ప్రబలమగును. అవి యోసేపు తలమీదను తన సహోదరులనుండి వేరుపరచబడిన వాని నడినెత్తిమీదను ఉండును.

26. The blessings of thy father shalbe stronger then the blessings of mine elders: vnto the ende of the hilles of the worlde they shall be on the head of Ioseph, and on the top of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

27. బెన్యామీను చీల్చునట్టి తోడేలు అతడు ఉదయమందు ఎరను తిని అస్తమయమందు దోపుడుసొమ్ము పంచుకొనును.

27. Beniamin shall rauine as a wolfe: in the morning he shall deuoure the pray, and at night he shall deuide the spoyle.

28. ఇవి అన్నియు ఇశ్రాయేలు పండ్రెండు గోత్రములు. వారి తండ్రి వారిని దీవించుచు వారితో చెప్పినది యిదే. ఎవరి దీవెన చొప్పున వారిని దీవించెను.

28. All these are the twelue tribes of Israel, and thus their father spake vnto them, and blessed them: euery one of them blessed hee with a seuerall blessing.

29. తరువాత అతడు వారి కాజ్ఞాపించుచు ఇట్లనెను - నేను నా స్వజనులయొద్దకు చేర్చబడుచున్నాను.

30. హిత్తీయుడైన ఎఫ్రోను భూమియందున్న గుహలో నా తండ్రుల యొద్ద నన్ను పాతిపెట్టుడి. ఆ గుహ కనాను దేశమందలి మమ్రే యెదుటనున్న మక్పేలా పొలములో ఉన్నది. అబ్రాహాము దానిని ఆ పొలమును హిత్తీయుడగు ఎఫ్రోనుయొద్ద శ్మశాన భూమి కొరకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా కొనెను.

30. In the caue that is in the field of Machpelah besides Mamre in the land of Canaan: which caue Abraham bought with the fielde of Ephron the Hittite for a possession to burie in.

31. అక్కడనే వారు అబ్రాహామును అతని భార్యయైన శారాను పాతి పెట్టిరి; అక్కడనే ఇస్సాకును అతని భార్యయైన రిబ్కాను పాతి పెట్టిరి; అక్కడనే నేను లేయాను పాతిపెట్టితిని.

31. There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife: there they buryed Izhak and Rebekah his wife: and there I buried Leah.

32. ఆ పొలమును అందులోనున్న గుహయు హేతుకుమారుల యొద్ద కొనబడినదనెను.

32. The purchase of the fielde and the caue that is therein, was bought of the children of Heth.

33. యాకోబు తన కుమారుల కాజ్ఞాపించుట చాలించి మంచముమీద తన కాళ్లు ముడుచుకొని ప్రాణమువిడిచి తన స్వజనులయొద్దకు చేర్చబడెను.

33. Thus Iaakob made an end of giuing charge to his sonnes, and plucked vp his feete into the bed and gaue vp the ghost, and was gathered to his people.
