1. ఈ సంగతులైన తరువాత ఇదిగో నీ తండ్రి కాయిలాగా ఉన్నాడని ఒకడు యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను. అప్పుడతడు మనష్షే ఎఫ్రాయిములు అను తన యిద్దరు కుమారులను వెంటబెట్టుకొని పోగా,

1. After this it was tolde Ioseph: Beholde, yi father is sicke. And he toke with him his two sonnes Manasses and Ephraim.

2. ఇదిగో నీ కుమారుడైన యోసేపు నీ యొద్దకు వచ్చుచున్నాడని యాకోబునకు తెలుపబడెను. అంతట ఇశ్రాయేలు బలము తెచ్చుకొని తన మంచము మీద కూర్చుండెను.

2. Then was it tolde Iacob: beholde, yi sonne Ioseph cometh vnto ye. And Israel toke a corage vnto him, & sat vp vpo ye bed,

3. యోసేపును చూచి కనాను దేశమందలి లూజులో సర్వశక్తిగల దేవుడు నాకు కనబడి నన్ను ఆశీర్వదించి

3. & sayde vnto Ioseph: The Allmightye God appeared vnto me at Lus in ye lade of Canaan, & blessed me,

4. ఇదిగో నీకు సంతానాభివృద్ధి పొందించి నిన్ను విస్తరింపచేసి నీవు జనముల సమూహమగునట్లు చేసి, నీ తరువాత నీ సంతానమునకు ఈ దేశమును నిత్యస్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చెదనని సెలవిచ్చెను.

4. & saide vnto me: Beholde, I wil cause ye to growe & increase & wyll make a multitude of people of ye, & wil geue this lade vnto yi sede after ye for an euerlastinge possession.

5. ఇదిగో నేను ఐగుప్తునకు నీ యొద్దకు రాకమునుపు ఐగుప్తు దేశములో నీకు పుట్టిన నీ యిద్దరు కుమారులు నా బిడ్డలే; రూబేను షిమ్యోనులవలె ఎఫ్రాయిము మనష్షే నా బిడ్డలై యుందురు.

5. Therfore shal now thy two sonnes Manasses & Ephraim (which were borne vnto the in Egipte, before I came hither vnto the) be myne, like as Ruben & Simeon.

6. వారి తరువాత నీవు కనిన సంతానము నీదే; వారు తమ సహోదరుల స్వాస్థ్యమునుబట్టి వారి పేళ్ల చొప్పున పిలువబడుదురు.

6. As for those that thou begettest after the, they shal be thine owne. But these shalbe named with the names of their brethren in their inheritaunce.

7. పద్దనరామునుండి నేను వచ్చుచున్నప్పుడు, ఎఫ్రాతాకు ఇంక కొంత దూరమున నుండగా మార్గమున రాహేలు కనాను దేశములో నా యెదుట మృతి పొందెను. అక్కడ బేత్లెహేమను ఎఫ్రాతా మార్గమున నేను ఆమెను పాతిపెట్టితినని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.

7. And wha I came out of Mesopotamia, Rachel dyed by me in the lande of Canaan, by the waye, whan there was yet but a feldes brede vnto Eprath: and I buryed her in the waye towarde Ephrath, which now is called Bethleem.

8. ఇశ్రాయేలు యోసేపు కుమారులను చూచి - వీరెవరని అడుగగా

8. And Israel loked vpon Iosephs sonnes, & sayde: What are these?

9. యోసేపు - వీరు నా కుమారులు, వీరిని ఈ దేశమందు దేవుడు నా కనుగ్రహించెనని తన తండ్రితో చెప్పెను. అందుకతడు - నేను వారిని దీవించుటకు నా దగ్గరకు వారిని తీసికొనిరమ్మనెను.

9. Ioseph answered: They are my sonnes, which God hath geuen me here. He sayde: Brynge the hither to me, yt I maye blesse the.

10. ఇశ్రాయేలు కన్నులు వృద్ధాప్యమువలన మందముగా ఉండెను గనుక అతడు చూడలేక పోయెను. యోసేపు వారిని అతని దగ్గరకు తీసికొనివచ్చినప్పుడు అతడు వారిని ముద్దు పెట్టుకొని కౌగిలించుకొనెను.

10. (For Israels eyes were heuy for age, & he coude not well se.) And he brought the vnto him. So he kyssed them, & enbraced the,

11. ఇశ్రాయేలు యోసేపుతో నీ ముఖము చూచెదనని నేను అనుకొనలేదు గాని నీ సంతానమును దేవుడు నాకు కనుపరచియున్నాడనగా

11. & saide vnto Ioseph: Beholde, I haue sene yi face, which I thought not: & lo, God hath caused me to se yi sede also.

12. యోసేపు అతని మోకాళ్ల మధ్యనుండి వారిని తీసికొని అతనికి సాష్టాంగ నమస్కారము చేసెను.

12. And Ioseph toke them from his lappe, and they fell downe to the grounde vpon their face.

13. తరువాత యోసేపు ఇశ్రాయేలు ఎడమచేతి తట్టున తన కుడిచేత ఎఫ్రాయిమును, ఇశ్రాయేలు కుడిచేతి తట్టున తన యెడమ చేత మనష్షేను పట్టుకొని వారినిద్దరిని అతని దగ్గరకు తీసి కొనివచ్చెను.

13. Then Ioseph toke them both, Ephraim in his right hande towarde Israels left hade, and Manasses in his left hande towarde Israels right hade, & brought the vnto him.

14. మనష్షే పెద్దవాడైనందున ఇశ్రాయేలు తన చేతులను యుక్తిగా చాచి చిన్నవాడైన ఎఫ్రాయిము తలమీద తన కుడిచేతిని మనష్షే తలమీద తన యెడమచేతిని ఉంచెను.

14. But Israel stretched out his right hande, & layed it vpo ye heade of Ephraim ye yogest & his left hande vpo Manasses heade, & did so wyttingly wt his handes, for Manasses was ye firstborne.

15. అతడు యోసేపును దీవించి - నా పితరులైన అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకులు ఎవని యెదుట నడుచుచుండిరో ఆ దేవుడు, నేను పుట్టినది మొదలుకొని నేటివరకును ఎవడు నన్ను పోషించెనో ఆ దేవుడు,

15. And he blessed Ioseph, & saide: The God before who my fathers Abraha & Isaac haue walked: ye God yt hath fed me my lyfe longe vnto this daye:

16. అనగా సమస్తమైన కీడులలోనుండి నన్ను తప్పించిన దూత యీ పిల్లలను ఆశీర్వదించునుగాక; నా పేరును అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకులను నా పితరుల పేరును వారికి పెట్టబడునుగాక; భూమియందు వారు బహుగా విస్తరించుదురుగాక అని చెప్పెను.

16. the angell which hath delyuered me fro all euell, blesse these laddes, yt they maye be called after my name, & after ye name of my fathers Abraha & Isaac, yt they maye growe & multiplye vpon earth.

17. యోసేపు ఎఫ్రాయిము తలమీద తన తండ్రి కుడిచెయ్యి పెట్టుట చూచినప్పుడు అది అతని కిష్టము కాకపోయెను గనుక అతడు మనష్షే తలమీద పెట్టించవలెనని తన తండ్రి చెయ్యి ఎఫ్రాయిము తలమీదనుండియెత్తి

17. But wha Ioseph sawe yt his father layed ye right hade vpo Ephraims heade, it displeased him, & he lift vp his fathers hande, to remoue it fro Ephraims heade vnto ye heade of Manasses,

18. నా తండ్రీ అట్లు కాదు; ఇతడే పెద్దవాడు, నీ కుడిచెయ్యి యితని తలమీద పెట్టుమని చెప్పెను.

18. & sayde vnto him: Not so my father, this is ye firstborne, laye yi right hade vpo his heade.

19. అయినను అతని తండ్రి ఒప్పక అది నాకు తెలియును, నా కుమారుడా అది నాకు తెలియును; ఇతడును ఒక జనసమూహమై గొప్పవాడగును గాని యితని తమ్ముడు ఇతని కంటె గొప్పవాడగును, అతని సంతానము జనముల సమూహమగునని చెప్పెను.

19. Neuertheles his father wolde not, & saide: I knowe it well my sonne, I knowe it well, this shall be a people also, & shalbe greate: but his yonger brother shal be greater the he, & his sede shal be full of people.

20. ఆ దినమందు అతడు వారిని దీవించి ఎఫ్రాయిమువలెను మనష్షేవలెను దేవుడు నిన్ను చేయును గాకని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నీ పేరు చెప్పి దీవించెదరనెను. ఆలాగు అతడు మనష్షేకంటె ఎఫ్రాయిమును ముందుగా ఉంచెను.

20. So he blessed them the same daye & saide: In ye shal Israel blesse, so yt it shal be sayde: God set the as Ephraim & Manasses. And so he set Ephraim aboue Manasses.

21. మరియు ఇశ్రాయేలు - ఇదిగో నేను చనిపోవుచున్నాను, అయినను దేవుడు మీకు తోడైయుండి మీ పితరుల దేశమునకు మిమ్మును మరల తీసికొని పోవును.

21. And Israel saide vnto Ioseph: Beholde, I dye, & God shall be wt you, & brynge you agayne in to ye lande of youre fathers.

22. నేను నీ సహోదరులకంటె నీకు ఒక భాగము ఎక్కువగా ఇచ్చితిని. అది నా కత్తితోను నా వింటితోను అమోరీయుల చేతిలోనుండి తీసికొంటినని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.

22. I haue geuen the a pece of londe, without ye brethren, which I gat with my swerde and my bowe out of the hande of the Amorites.
