1. And it happened at the end of two years of days, Pharaoh was dreaming. And, lo, he was standing by the River.

2. And, behold! Seven cows were going up from the River, beautiful of appearance and fat of flesh; and they were feeding in the reeds.

3. And, behold, seven other cows were going up after them from the River, evil of appearance and lean of flesh. And they were standing beside the cows on the lip of the River.

4. అప్పుడు చూపునకు వికారమై చిక్కిపోయిన ఆ ఆవులు చూపునకు అందమై బలిసిన ఆవులను తినివేయుచుండెను. అంతలో ఫరో మేలుకొనెను.

4. And the evil-appearing and lean-fleshed cows were eating the seven cows of beautiful and fat appearance. And Pharaoh awoke.

5. అతడు నిద్రించి రెండవసారి కలకనెను. అందులో మంచి పుష్టిగల యేడు వెన్నులు ఒక్క దంటున పుట్టుచుండెను.

5. And he slept and dreamed a second time. And, behold, seven ears of grain were coming up on one stalk, fat and good.

6. And, behold, seven ears of grain, being lean and blasted by the east wind, sprouting forth after them.

7. And the seven lean ears were swallowing the seven fat and full ears. And Pharaoh awakened; and, lo, it was a dream.

8. And it happened in the morning, his spirit was troubled. And he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dream, and there was no interpreter of them to Pharaoh.

9. అప్పుడు పానదాయకుల అధిపతి - నేడు నా తప్పిదములను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుచున్నాను.

9. And the chief of the cupbearers spoke with Pharaoh, saying, I mention my sin today.

10. ఫరో తన దాసులమీద కోపగించి నన్నును భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతిని మా ఉభయులను రాజసంరక్షక సేనాధిపతి యింట కావలిలో ఉంచెను.

10. Pharaoh was angry against his servants, and gave me into custody in the house of the chief of the executioners, me and the chief of the bakers.

11. ఒక రాత్రి నేను అతడు మేమిద్దరము కలలు కంటిమి. ఒక్కొకడు వేరువేరు భావములు గల కలలు చెరి యొకటి కంటిమి.

11. And we dreamed a dream in one night, he and I; we each dreamed according to the interpretation of his dream.

12. And a Hebrew youth was with us, a slave to the chief of the executioners. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams to us; he interpreted to each according to his dream.

14. And Pharaoh sent and called Joseph; and they rushed him from the dungeon. And he shaved and changed his clothing and came in to Pharaoh.

15. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one to interpret it; and I have heard about you, saying, you hear a dream to interpret it.

16. యోసేపు నావలన కాదు, దేవుడే ఫరోకు క్షేమకరమైన ఉత్తరమిచ్చునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

16. And Joseph replied to Pharaoh, saying, Not I! God will answer the well-being of Pharaoh.

17. అందుకు ఫరో నా కలలో నేను ఏటి యొడ్డున నిలుచుంటిని.

17. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, In my dream, lo, I was standing on the lip of the River.

18. బలిసినవియు, చూపున కందమైనవియునైన, యేడు ఆవులు ఏటిలోనుండి పైకివచ్చి జమ్ములో మేయుచుండెను.

18. And, behold, seven cows were going up from the River, fat of flesh and beautiful of form, and were feeding in the reeds.

19. మరియు నీరసమై బహు వికార రూపము కలిగి చిక్కిపోయిన మరి యేడు ఆవులు వాటి తరువాత పైకి వచ్చెను. వీటి అంత వికారమైనవి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఎక్కడను నాకు కనబడలేదు.

19. And, behold, seven other cows were going up after them, poor and very evil of form, and lean of flesh; I have not seen any like them in all the land of Egypt for badness.

20. చిక్కిపోయి వికారముగానున్న ఆవులు బలిసిన మొదటి యేడు ఆవులను తినివేసెను.

20. And the cows, the lean and the evil, ate the first seven fat cows.

21. అవి వాటి కడుపులో పడెను గాని అవి కడుపులో పడినట్టు కనబడలేదు, మొదట ఉండినట్లే అవి చూపునకు వికారముగా నుండెను. అంతలో నేను మేలుకొంటిని.

21. And they went into their stomachs, and it could not be seen that they had gone into their stomachs; and their appearance was as evil as at the beginning. And I awakened.

22. And I looked in my dream. And, behold, seven ears of grain were coming up on one stalk, full and good.

23. And, behold, seven ears, withered, lean, blasted by the east wind, sprouting forth after them.

24. And the lean ears were swallowing the seven good ears. And I spoke to the magicians, but not one is making known the meaning to me.

25. అందుకు యోసేపు ఫరో కనిన కల ఒక్కటే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు తెలియచేసెను. ఆ యేడు మంచి ఆవులు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు

25. And Joseph said to Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.

26. ఆ యేడు మంచి వెన్నులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు.

26. The seven good cows, they are seven years and the seven good ears, they are seven years; it is one dream.

27. కల ఒక్కటే. వాటి తరువాత, చిక్కిపోయి వికారమై పైకివచ్చిన యేడు ఆవులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు; తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయిన యేడు పీలవెన్నులు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు.

27. And the seven thin and evil-appearing cows going up after them, they are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted by the east wind will be seven years of famine.

28. నేను ఫరోతో చెప్పు మాట యిదే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు చూపించెను.

28. This is the word that I spoke to Pharaoh: what God is about to do, He has made Pharaoh see.

29. ఇదిగో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను బహు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుచున్నవి.

29. Behold! Seven years of great plenty are coming in all the land of Egypt.

30. మరియు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు వాటి తరువాత వచ్చును; అప్పుడు ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి యావత్తును మరువబడును, ఆ కరవు దేశమును పాడుచేయును.

30. And seven years of famine will arise after them and all the plenty of the land of Egypt will be forgotten; and the famine will consume the land.

31. దాని తరువాత కలుగు కరవుచేత దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి తెలియబడకపోవును; ఆ కరవు మిక్కిలి భారముగా నుండును.

31. And the plenty in the land will not be remembered because of that famine afterwards; for it will be very severe.

32. ఈ కార్యము దేవునివలన నిర్ణయింపబడియున్నది. ఇది దేవుడు శీఘ్రముగా జరిగించును. అందుచేతనే ఆ కల ఫరోకు రెట్టింపబడెను.

32. And as to the dream being repeated to Pharaoh twice, the thing is settled because it is from God, and God is hastening to do it.

33. కాబట్టి ఫరో వివేక జ్ఞానములుగల ఒక మనుష్యుని చూచుకొని ఐగుప్తు దేశముమీద అతని నియమింపవలెను.

33. And now let Pharaoh look for a man who is intelligent and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

34. ఫరో అట్లు చేసి యీ దేశముపైన అధిపతులను నియమించి సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములలో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను అయిదవ భాగము తీసికొనవలెను.

34. Let Pharaoh act and let him appoint rulers over the land and take a fifth of the land of Egypt in the seven years of plenty.

35. రాబోవు ఈ మంచి సంవత్సరములలో దొరుకు ఆహార మంతయు సమకూర్చి ఆ ధాన్యము ఫరో చేతికప్పగించి ఆయా పట్టణములలో ఆహారమునకై భద్రము చేయవలెను.

35. And let them gather all the food of these coming good years. And let them heap up grain under Pharaoh's hand as food in the cities, and let them keep it.

36. కరవుచేత ఈ దేశము నశించిపోకుండ ఆ ఆహారము ఐగుప్తుదేశములో రాబోవు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఏడింటికి ఈ దేశమందు సంగ్రహముగా నుండునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

36. And let the food be for a store for the land, for the seven years of famine which will be in the land of Egypt and let not the land be cut off by famine.

37. ఆ మాట ఫరో దృష్టికిని అతని సమస్త సేవకుల దృష్టికిని యుక్తమైయుండెను గనుక

37. And the word was good in Pharaoh's eyes, and in the eyes of all his servants.

38. అతడు తన సేవకులను చూచి ఇతనివలె దేవుని ఆత్మగల మనుష్యుని కనుగొనగలమా అని యనెను.

38. And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find any man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?

39. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Since God has taught you all this, there is no one wise and intelligent like you.

40. నీవు నా యింటికి అధికారివై యుండవలెను, నా ప్రజలందరు నీకు విధేయులై యుందురు; సింహాసన విషయములో మాత్రమే నేను నీకంటె పైవాడనై యుందునని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.

40. You shall be over my house, and at your mouth all my people shall kiss the hand. Only in respect to the throne will I be greater than you.

41. మరియు ఫరో - చూడుము, ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటి మీద నిన్ను నియమించి యున్నానని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.

41. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Behold, I have put you over all the land of Egypt.

42. మరియు ఫరో తన చేతినున్న తన ఉంగరము తీసి యోసేపు చేతిని పెట్టి, సన్నపు నారబట్టలు అతనికి తొడిగించి, అతని మెడకు బంగారు గొలుసు వేసి

42. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand and put it on the hand of Joseph; and he clothed him with fine linen robes, and put a golden chain on his neck.

43. And he caused him to ride in a chariot which was the second to him. And they cried before him, Bow the knee! And he put him over all the land of Egypt.

44. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without a word from you not a man shall lift his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.

45. మరియు ఫరో యోసేపునకు జప్నత్ప నేహు అను పేరు పెట్టి, అతనికి ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు నిచ్చి పెండ్లి చేసెను.

45. And Pharaoh called Joseph by the name of Zaphnath-paaneah. And He gave him Asenath the daughter of Potipherah, priest of On, for a wife. And Joseph went out over the land of Egypt.

46. యోసేపు బయలుదేరి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచరించెను. యోసేపు ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో యెదుట నిలిచినప్పుడు ముప్పది సంవత్సరములవాడై యుండెను. అప్పుడు యోసేపు ఫరో యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచారము చేసెను.

46. And Joseph was a son of thirty years as he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the face of Pharaoh and passed over in all the land of Egypt.

47. సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన యేడు సంవత్సరములలో భూమి బహు విరివిగా పండెను.

47. And the land produced by handfuls in the seven years of plenty.

48. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందున్న యేడు సంవత్సరముల ఆహారమంతయు అతడు సమకూర్చి, ఆయా పట్టణములలో దాని నిలువచేసెను. ఏ పట్టణము చుట్టునుండు పొలముయొక్క ధాన్యము ఆ పట్టణమందే నిలువచేసెను.

48. And he gathered all the food of the seven years which were in the land of Egypt, and he put food in the cities, the food of the field which is around each city he put into the middle of it.

49. యోసేపు సముద్రపు ఇసుకవలె అతి విస్తారముగా ధాన్యము పోగుచేసెను. కొలుచుట అసాధ్యమాయెను గనుక కొలుచుట మానివేసెను.

49. And Joseph heaped up grain like the sand of the sea, exceedingly much, until he ceased to count it, because it was without number.

50. కరవు సంవత్సరములు రాకమునుపు యోసేపుకిద్దరు కుమారులు పుట్టిరి. ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు అతనికి వారిని కనెను.

50. And two sons were born to Joseph before the year of the famine came in, whom Asenath the daughter of Potipherah, priest of On, bore to him.

51. అప్పుడు యోసేపు దేవుడు నా సమస్త బాధను నా తండ్రియింటి వారినందరిని నేను మరచి పోవునట్లు చేసెనని చెప్పి తన జ్యేష్ఠకుమారునికి మనష్షే అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

51. And Joseph called the name of the first-born Manasseh; for he said, God has made me forget all my toil, and all the house of my father.

52. తరువాత అతడు నాకు బాధ కలిగిన దేశమందు దేవుడు నన్ను అభివృద్ధి పొందించెనని చెప్పి, రెండవవానికి ఎఫ్రాయిము అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

52. And the name of the second he called Ephraim; for he said, God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.

53. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన సంవత్సరములు గడచిన తరువాత

53. And the seven years of plenty which were in the land of Egypt were ended.

54. యోసేపు చెప్పిన ప్రకారము ఏడు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఆరంభమాయెను గాని ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఆహారముండెను.
అపో. కార్యములు 7:11

54. And the seven years of famine began to come, according as Joseph had said. And the famine was in all lands, but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

55. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను కరవు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆ దేశస్థులు ఆహారము కోసము ఫరోతో మొరపెట్టుకొనిరి, అప్పుడు ఫరో - మీరు యోసేపు నొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతడు మీతో చెప్పునట్లు చేయుడని ఐగుప్తీయులందరితో చెప్పెను.

55. And all the land of Egypt hungered and the people cried to Pharaoh for bread. And Pharaoh said to all Egypt, Go to Joseph; what he says to you, do.

56. కరవు ఆ దేశమందంతటను ఉండెను గనుక యోసేపు కొట్లన్నియు విప్పించి ఐగుప్తీయులకు ధాన్యమమ్మకము చేసెను. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ కరవు భారముగా ఉండెను;

56. And the famine was on the face of all the land. And Joseph opened all which was in them, and sold to the Egyptians. And the famine was strong in the land of Egypt.

57. మరియు ఆ కరవు ప్రతి దేశమందు భారమైనందున సమస్త దేశస్థులు యోసేపునొద్ద ధాన్యము కొనుటకు ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

57. And all the earth came to Egypt to buy, to Joseph. For the famine was strong in all the earth.
