1. అటుపిమ్మట ఐగుప్తురాజుయొక్క పానదాయకుడును భక్ష్యకారుడును తమ ప్రభువైన ఐగుప్తురాజు ఎడల తప్పుచేసిరి

1. And it chanced after this, that the chief butler of the king of Egypt and his chief baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

2. గనుక ఫరో పానదాయకుల అధిపతియు భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతియునైన తన యిద్దరు ఉద్యోగస్థులమీద కోపపడి

2. And Pharao was angry with them and put them in ward in his chief marshal's house:

3. వారిని చెరసాలలో నుంచుటకై రాజసంరక్షక సేనాధిపతికి అప్పగించెను. అది యోసేపు బంధింపబడిన స్థలము.

3. even in the prison where Joseph was bound.

4. ఆ సేనాధిపతి వారిని యోసేపు వశము చేయగా అతడు వారికి ఉపచారము చేసెను. వారు కొన్నిదినములు కావలిలో నుండిన తరువాత

4. And the chief marshal gave Joseph a charge with them, and he served them. And they continued a season in ward.

5. వారిద్దరు, అనగా చెరసాలలో బంధింపబడిన ఐగుప్తురాజు యొక్క పానదాయకుడును, భక్ష్యకారుడును ఒక్కటే రాత్రియందు కలలు కనిరి; ఒక్కొక్కడు వేరు వేరు భావముల కలకనెను.

5. And they dreamed either of them in one night: both the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt which were bound in the prison house, either of them his dream, and each man's dream of a sundry interpretation.

6. తెల్లవారినప్పుడు యోసేపు వారి యొద్దకు వచ్చి వారిని చూడగా వారు చింతా క్రాంతులై యుండిరి.

6. When Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them: behold, they were sad.

7. అతడు ఎందుచేత నేడు మీ ముఖములు చిన్నబోయి యున్నవని తన యజమానుని యింట తనతో కావలి యందున్న ఫరో ఉద్యోగస్థుల నడిగెను.

7. And he asked them saying, wherefore look ye so sadly today?

8. అందుకు వారుమేము కలలు కంటిమి; వాటి భావము చెప్పగలవారెవరును లేరని అతనితో ననగా యోసేపు వారిని చూచి భావములు చెప్పుట దేవుని అధీనమే గదా; మీరు దయచేసి ఆ కలలు నాకు వివరించి చెప్పుడనెను.

8. They answered him, we have dreamed a dream, and have no man to declare it. And Joseph said unto them. Interpreting belongeth to God, but tell me yet.

9. అప్పుడు పానదాయకుల అధిపతి యోసేపును చూచి నా కలలో ఒక ద్రాక్షావల్లి నా యెదుట ఉండెను;

9. And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph and said unto him: In my dream me thought there stood a vine before me,

10. ఆ ద్రాక్షావల్లికి మూడు తీగెలుండెను, అది చిగిరించినట్టు ఉండెను; దాని పువ్వులు వికసించెను; దాని గెలలు పండి ద్రాక్షఫలములాయెను.

10. and in the vine were three branches, and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth: and the grapes thereof waxed ripe.

11. మరియు ఫరో గిన్నె నా చేతిలో ఉండెను; ఆ ద్రాక్షఫలములు నేను పట్టుకొని ఫరో గిన్నెలో వాటిని పిండి ఆ గిన్నె ఫరో చేతికిచ్చితినని తన కలను అతనితో వివరించి చెప్పెను.

11. And I had Pharao's cup in my hand, and took of the grapes and wrung them into Pharao's cup, and delivered Pharao's cup into his hand.

12. అప్పుడు యోసేపు - దాని భావమిదే; ఆ మూడు తీగెలు మూడు దినములు;

12. And Joseph said unto him, this is the interpretation of it.

13. ఇంక మూడు దినములలోగా ఫరో నీ తలను పైకెత్తి నీ ఉద్యోగము నీకు మరల ఇప్పించును. నీవు అతనికి పానదాయకుడవై యున్ననాటి మర్యాద చొప్పున ఫరో గిన్నెను అతని చేతికప్పగించెదవు

13. The three branches are three days: for within three days shall Pharao lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thine office again, and thou shalt deliver Pharao's cup into his hand, after the old manner, even as thou didst when thou wast his butler.

14. కాబట్టి నీకు క్షేమము కలిగినప్పుడు నన్ను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొని నాయందు కరుణించి ఫరోతో నన్నుగూర్చి మాటలాడి యీ యింటిలోనుండి నన్ను బయటికి రప్పించుము.

14. But think on me with thee, when thou art in good case, and shew mercy unto me. And make mention of me to Pharao, and help to bring me out of this house:

15. ఏలయనగా నేను హెబ్రీయుల దేశములోనుండి దొంగిలబడితిని, అది నిశ్చయము. మరియు ఈ చెరసాలలో నన్ను వేయుటకు ఇక్కడ సహా నేనేమియు చేయలేదని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

15. for I was stolen out of the land of the Hebrews, and here also have I done nothing at all wherefore they should have put me into this dungeon.

16. అతడు తెలిపిన భావము మంచిదని భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతి చూచి అతనితో నిట్లనెను - నేనును కల కంటిని; ఇదిగో తెల్లని పిండివంటలుగల మూడు గంపలు నా తలమీద ఉండెను.

16. When the chief baker saw that he had well interpreted it, he said unto Joseph, me thought also in my dream, that I had three wicker baskets on my head?

17. మీది గంపలో ఫరో నిమిత్తము సమస్త విధములైన పిండివంటలు ఉండెను. పక్షులు నా తలమీదనున్న ఆ గంపలో నుండి వాటిని తీసికొని తినుచుండెను.

17. And in the uppermost basket, of all manner bakemeats for Pharao. And the birds ate them out of the basket upon my head.

18. అందుకు యోసేపు - దాని భావమిదే; ఆ మూడు గంపలు మూడు దినములు

18. Joseph answered and said: this is the interpretation thereof. The three baskets are three days,

19. ఇంక మూడు దినములలోగా ఫరో నీ మీదనుండి నీ తలను పైకెత్తి మ్రానుమీద నిన్ను వ్రేలాడదీయించును. అప్పుడు పక్షులు నీమీద నుండి నీ మాంసమును తినివేయునని ఉత్తర మిచ్చెను.

19. for this day three days shall Pharao take thy head from thee, and shall hang thee on a tree, and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.

20. మూడవ దినమందు జరిగినదేమనగా, ఆ దినము ఫరో జన్మదినము గనుక అతడు తన సేవకులకందరికి విందు చేయించి వారి నడుమ పానదాయకుల అధిపతి తలను భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతి తలను పైకెత్తి

20. And it came to pass the third day which was Pharao's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants. And he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

21. పానదాయకుల అధిపతి ఉద్యోగము మరల అతనికిచ్చెను గనుక అతడు ఫరోచేతికి గిన్నె నిచ్చెను.

21. And restored the chief butler unto his butlership again, and he reached the cup into Pharao's hand,

22. మరియు యోసేపు వారికి తెలిపిన భావము చొప్పున భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతిని వ్రేలాడదీయించెను.

22. and hanged the chief baker: even as Joseph had interpreted unto them.

23. అయితే పానదాయకుల అధిపతి యోసేపును జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనక అతని మరచిపోయెను.

23. Notwithstanding the chief butler remembered not Joseph, but forgot him.
