Son! thank GOD before having your food. This is what mother says every time to Johnny, but Johnny hurriedly eats up without remembering GOD.
Suddenly they heard a beggar begging for food. Johnnys mother got up from the dining table asked the beggar to come into the house and also to have the food with them. The beggar who was starving for a long time jumped up on to the food. Johnny was looking at the beggar.His clothes were dirty and unclean with our proper shave. The beggar ate the dishes hurriedly and wholeheartedly, washed his hands without thanking Johnnys mother.
Mom, why did you allow such unthankful person to eat the food at our home- Johnny asked his mother. For that his mother answered then, What you are doing johnny? many people are starving because of lack of food, in these days also GOD is providing you food and are you thankful for that? In spite of me asking you to pray before you have your food. You never do it. I intentionally told the beggar to go off without thanking me so that I can teach you a lesson. Johnny was ashamed of his act and from that day on wards he started praising the GOD and thanking him every time he had the food.
