తండ్రీ, నీ చేతికి నా ఆత్మను అప్పగించుకొనుచున్నాను.

యేసు నేరస్తుడని తీర్పు ప్రకటించి సిలువవేయాలని సిద్ధమైంది వ్యతిరేకపు అధికారం. సమాజ బహిష్కరణ చేసి, పాళెము వెలుపట వధకు సిద్ధపరిచారు. శరీరమంతా గాయాలతో నిలువెల్లా నలుగ గొట్టి, మోమున ఉమ్మివేసి, పిడుగుద్దులు గుద్ది, దూషించి, అవమానించారు. యూదుల రాజువని తలకు ముళ్ళ కిరీటము పెట్టి అపహసించారు.
రక్తం
ఏరులై పారింది. నడినెత్తి మొదలుకొని అరికాలు వరకు రక్తసిక్తమైన శరీరం, అడుగు ఆపితే అహంకారుల ఆగడాలు... చెళ్ళున చీల్చే కొరడా దెబ్బలు, బలహీనమై... భారమైన సిలువను మోయలేక మోస్తూ మోస్తూ, హాహాకారాల ఊరేగింపు...
గొల్గొతా కొండకు చేరింది 6 గంటల సిలువ ప్రస్థానం.
సిలువను వీక్షిస్తున్న కళ్ళన్నీ నిప్పు కణికలై లేస్తుంటే, విస్తుపోయిన క్షణం సర్వజగతికి - దేవునికి మధ్య తెర చినిగింది. తులువల మధ్య వ్రేలాడిన ప్రేమ బావుటాకు మేకులు కొడితే... క్షమించింది, బాధ్యత గుర్తుచేసింది. విధేయతకు అర్ధం తెలియజేస్తూ రక్షణ ద్వారాలు తెరుచుకున్నాయి. నా శరీరిరం నీకొరకేనని, నా రక్తం మీ అందరి కొరకేనని ధారపోసి తన ఆత్మను తండ్రి చేతికి అప్పగించి చివరకు తన ప్రాణాన్ని మనకొరకు అర్పించాడు
యేసు క్రీస్తు.

క్రీస్తు ప్రేమ మన ఊహలకే అందనిది ఈ సిలువ త్యాగం. మన పాప శాప దోషములు ఆ
యన్ని సిలువేస్తే మౌనంగా భరించగలిగింది ఆ అమర ప్రేమ.

విలువలేని మన జీవితాలకు విలువైన తన జీవితం సిలువలో అర్పించాడు. వెలపెట్టిన ఆయన ప్రాణం మనకు ఉచితముగా రక్షణనిస్తే; రక్షించబడి, మన ఆత్మలను
క్రీస్తుకు అప్పగించుకొనగలిగితేనే ఆ త్యాగానికి, సిలువకు అర్ధం.
ప్రభువా... నీ చేతికి నా ఆత్మను అప్పగించుకుంటున్నాను. ఆమెన్!
Seventh Word- Sayings of Jesus on Cross
The opposition planned to convict Jesus and at around nine in the morning ,to put him to death. He was boycotted from the nation, and stage was set up for an outdoor execution. He was slashed, spat on face, punched , humiliated, and left with wounds all over his body. They insulted him by placing a crown of thorns on his head and wrote as king of jews.
There was blood all over. He was covered with blood from head to the soles of the feet, when his steps tumbled there were whips on his back which split the flesh, unable to hold the heavy cross and carrying it, with the procession of painful sighs which lasted 6hours upon arrival to the Golgotha hill.
The curtain separating the universe and God was ripped in a moment as eyes turned to the blazing cross. Jesus Christ poured out his body for you and and me and his blood for all of us and surrendered his soul to the hands of the Father and finally gave his life for us.
The sacrifice of the cross represents the unfathomable love of Christ. It is that eternal love that, even when they crucified Him, could silently bear our guilt and shame.
What purpose does the offering of the cross serve if we are unable to approach God with our wounded hearts? If the objective is radical change and the foundation of our salvation is the blood that was spilled to the last drop?
For our useless lives, Christ sacrificed his priceless life on the cross. That sacrifice, the cross, has meaning only if we may be saved and submit our souls to Christ.
